Very interesting and informative
Displays well put together. Informative. Enjoyable. Staff friendly.
Really enjoyed the exhibit.. art gallery up stairs.. old Flying Dr peddle machines.. in the middle information on the beginnings of the RFDS
Interesting to see how the Royal Flying Doctor Service started.
Well organised space. Clean Exhibits were very interesting, as were the many short films and audio recordings. Access to rest rooms and picnic tables outside.
A must see if you visit the town. Well laid out and good cold water. Excellent staff - efficient and helpful. Allow an hour or two. Easy walk from the centre of town - but good parking at the door. A few souvenirs to ponder over too.
Planned my trip from Brisbane with a day here to see the museum..Fix your google hours if are not open on weekends. Thanks for stuffing up our day
Very I interesting. Definitely worth a visit
Awesome museum, a must to visit.Seniors $10. Well worth the time. Lovely and helpful staff
Excellent place to visit. Lots of interesting information. Very well kept displays.
Museums better than longreach, still a bit more personal. Longreach is getting too commercialised
Great place to learn how hard our country men and women lived and the forethought of a pioneering Australian.
Great place for the history for the RFDS, Qantas and the radio school and how all 3 opened the Outback.
You will respect flying doctors once you take in the contents of this museum
Very informative insite into the establishment of the Flying Doctor.Very friendly staff.
Very well done. Great T-Shirts for $16.
Thoroughly enjoyed the display and reading about these incredible pioneers of ours
Definitely worth a couple of hours.
Very well done. Worth a visit. Great radio room.
I was surprised at how much I learnt at this space.Highly recommend a visit and learn more about an inspiring person who had a vision and walked the talk.
Such a varied collection of memorabilia to do with John Flynn and the history of the Flying Doctor service. The ramped access between floors made for interesting internal spaces. Really liked the carpet pattern which was an aerial view of the desert in the Cloncurry region. Interesting paintings on display.
Very interesting place great history for a place that does an excellent job in the out back well worth a look
Cloncurry is a friendly town. John Flynn Museum is a must visit. I had no idea the the Flying Doctor Service started in Cloncurry.
Lots of information, good displays. Good to see such a Big part of our history.
Really good - spend a couple hours here easily
Every Australian should visit this. Reverend Flynn is one of the greatest ever Australians. And what a legacy !
A very interesting museum with so much history about the flying doctors in Australia. You need a good 2 hours to see everything and watch informative films.

Ive always wanted to come here
This place had great, informative history. A lot to read but also some videos and hands on stuff.
Informative and well laid out museum about the start of the history of the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
Amazing place to look back at as this is the founder of Royal Flying Doctor Service in Australia
1st time in Cloncurry and a great visit to the museum. Birthplace of the flying Doctor Service and interesting to learn also linkage to QANTAS. Enjoyed my visit
So inspiring! Was moved to tears several times in understanding both the effort it needed to get this done, and desperate lack of facilities at that time in the development of this wonderful country. Well worth a visit, make sure you allow plenty of time at least 2hrsand dont rush through it!
A wonderful place - full of information. You could spend a day in there and still not see everything. Very friendly staff and the free coffees and teas were welcoming.
Very interesting if you havent been to Cloncurry before we bought a double ticket discount by going to the Mary Kathleen museum first, both are worth a look. These are static museums so not much new happens, non the less for a first time visitor it is worth the look see.
Very informative museum. Lots of relative and well kept exhibits. Freindly staff. Excellent value for money
A great display well layed out an easy to read the videos were well made .The staff are friendly and knew their museum. A must if visiting Cloncurry
Magnificent tribute to a visionary. It also greatly acknowledges those others involved in the early days of establishing the RFDS. Great pioneering spirits.
Weve been to a few museums on our travels. This is one of the best. Really enjoyed it. Other 1 in Clonclurry not great but this one really worth seeing
We recently visited this very special museum and were amazed and delighted with it. It is not just another regular museum as there is so much information and it is so well presented. We spent a couple of hours looking at the displays and watching the videos and while we thought we knew it all before, we learnt heaps. There is also some art and a shop with different and well priced local craft and unusual Flying Doctor souvenirs. This museum is a MUST in Cloncurry. Dont pass it by, its in a back street with easy parking.
