Called up re a Benelli m2 they had on GT, got the info i needed and did the deal. They chucked in a bag and free shipping to my local RFD and that was that. Really great service, the three star review about poor customer service if youre not a regular i just dont believe as i experienced exactly the opposite.

Popped into the shop last night to pick up air rifle I have to agree with the last review the level of service was amazing. Phil was polite and beyond helpful from beginning to end. He ordered in the rifle I wanted as it was sold out out which took him 2 short days and he immediately phoned me once the item had arrived. This is a friendly place with a great customer friendly attitude I’m happy someone pointed me towards them I will be doing the same. Thanks

These guys and gals seem to always have what I need but there is definitely no love if your not a regular customer.. they dont engage with you instead they hide behind a phone. Good shop overall needs some customers skills

Visited them today regarding a gun. Was in the middle of talking to the guy behind the counter when he answered the phone and walked off leaving me standing in the shop. Was not impressed so I walked out. Won’t be visiting them again.

I visited earlier in the week and the gun I wanted was out of stock. Staff took my number and got the gun in the next day and it was put side for me to collect. No need to put down a deposit. Picked it up today and very pleased with it. Thumbs up.

Not sure its John Forseys fault, but paid £100 to get my airgun serviced. When I got it back the case was damaged, the scope elastic was wrapped in between the scope mounts so I had to cut it off. And it looks like there is rust on my barrel where it wasnt oiled whilst away.

5 out of 5!Cannot fault this place. Only just found out about it recently and decided to have a look see, ended up buying a new air pistol!Extremely helpful and would recommend to anyone 👌.

Lovely local shop, I remember looking in the window as a kid when it went by another name but looked exactly the same. I would like to see some target rifle stuff in there but they focus mostly on shotgun, air and some light sport rifle, that said I have always been able to get the ammo that I want in there without any problems.

Bought a couple guns from here recently and have been very impressed with the service. Even in current COVID situation sent me a video to help me out.

Super helpful staff and amazing customer service, going from a Springer to my first PCP and theyve been brilliant. Will be going through them for my first shotgun shortly as well, very knowledgeable and make even novices feel comfortable with getting into shooting sports.

I live close by and have bought from John Forseys on several occasions. Particularly helpful are Luke and Phil. I have dealt with Luke personally and he has the time and patience for prospective buyers. A very friendly and relaxed shop to visit.

Very poor service...had an airgun advertised online I emailed after hours to ask if it was still available I was told yes...but shop would not be open till Monday morning and they would hold until I asked further questions...great.Monday morning after speaking to my local RFD about transfer I received an email saying that the gun in question had now been sold this was only 20 minutes after opening the shop....I replied to the email saying that the gun in question was on hold for me and received no reply.

Top guys! Knowledgeable, friendly and not pushy. Friendly atmosphere. I bought my New Benelli Supernova and being a novice shooter, i felt at ease! Recommended

This is a great shop, and well worth a visit.I took my rifle to be serviced and collected it from Phil, who upon realising I didn’t have the correct adapter to charge my rifle; actually gave me the shop adapter for free! Top man!They have a good selection of guns and gear and and are a friendly bunch.If you are serious about marksmanship, John Forsey Guns is a must!

Phil is an extremely helpful man I got a stock form him . The stock was fantastic .and he even helped me with a fitting plate fee of change top man top service .I would recommend .

Only ever been once to collect a gun sent from another dealer because it was too far to collect. Considering I didnt spend much money with them, only a small admin fee and some accessories they were very professional and courteous. Cannot fault and would recommend others to shop here.

Where do I start. I just got my gun license through after waiting for three months and was all excited to get my first shot gun. So I made the journey to Johns got up there for 9 o’clock when it was supposed open and they didn’t open the shop until 9:30. To then walk through the door waiting again another 10 minutes to be served and then it felt like the blind leading the blind, I asked them for some advice as this was going to be the first shotgun that I was going to buy and if I’m honest they didn’t have a clue, they just wanted to off load anything. then they started to look for shot guns for me to find out that the majority of the guns on the back shelf were all left-handers. I could go on and on but long story short it is an absolutely terrible shop.So I immediately left made the journey to West mauling to Countryway gunshop. Now that is the place you need to go amazing I couldn’t rate them any better from the moment I walked in through the door they were nothing but helpfull! And they stock sooooo much more!! I have been a customer of John Forsey for many years and have never had grounds for complaint. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful service. (If sometimes very busy). What they cant answer, they will find out. A good place to visit.

I had a shotgun transfared to my local gun shop from these guys. It was a hassle free transaction and the fella that helped me out (philwas a great help. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this shop for over the counter sales or rfd to rfd.5 stars from me.

Regularly go down to John Forsey for supplies. These guys are amazing, they are willing to loan out demo guns and give good advice. No pressure selling like you get in some places and they genuinely know what they are talking about. Good selection of guns and ammunition and the staff are very pleasant and helpful. They also offer credit on gun purchases to make it a bit more affordable over a period of time rather than all up front. I usually end up dealing with Phil, who is always helpful and friendly.
