They had my order ready to go and very friendly.

Out of all of my traveling all over the world and the US, this place is by far one of the worst I have been.As others have said in their reviews, cold and obviously rewarmed food. Weird tastes on some of the items. Very bland on lots of others.Think you cant mess up egg drop soup? They figured out how..Roast beef was dry and tough to chew. Iced shrimp looked like it had mold.And they have sushi written on their signs, but NO sushi anywhere.This place only gets a one star because I cant give it NO stars. They dont even deserve to get one star for what we got and definitely not worth $12 a person.We will NOT be coming back here.

Not worth the money the food taste reheated and old and there is barely any food, and I didnt see any sushi unlike it says on the sign.

Food is delicious, I like the Hawaii chicken, spicy shrimp and general Tao”s chicken. service was so good. I got an amazing service from its waitress tonight. The price is fair for me. Definitely worth to recommend it.

At 4 PM on Monday the food is very fresh and had a very good taste. Our family was the only customers and the employees were very nice.

Hair in food. Food not that great. Not very clean place. Mentioned hair was in food and she acted like it was no big deal. Advertised they had sushi and they didnt.

We went late afternoon and the food quality wasnt the best. Definitely the time of the day you go can make a difference.

Not my favorite, but do eat there from time to time when in the mood for Chinese.

Clean restaurant great service and food price is fair

No noodles, no sushi. After 10 minutes with empty glass I had to refill the glass myself in the restroom, even though I was the only customer in the restaurant. Food was not fresh at all and I was completely ignored by staff. They didn’t even bring me a ticket so I could cash out. Several staff members sitting in the staff seating area enjoying their day while I ate cold food with no drink. Joy Wok used to be my favorite restaurant but they have dramatically declined in both food and service quality the past 3 months. I will not return.

Country style Chinese buffet. Very general food serving. Seems to cater to the elderly and no diversity at all, other than the workers.

Got there shortly after opening for lunch. It wasnt very busy and food was great

We ate there and the food was terrible. We were charged for sea food and were not told ahead of time. It was suppose to be fresh and the green beans were shriveled upThe brocolli and chicken looked like yesterdays food. The Mac and cheese was terrible. Not worth the money. Overpriced.Would not go back there again. Almost $40It sucked

Had sushi, and a nice variety of food. Quite and nice facility.

I got a little taste of most of the buffet. There was plenty to try and most of it was really good.

Was there right at opening so all the food was hot and fresh. Quite a few selections.

Drove 45 min arrived at 9:30 to be turned away saying they were closed when their open sign was lit up still and they are supposed to close at 10:30. Very disappointed!!

Went in at an off peak time (mid afternoon). They refreshed the entire buffet so we would have fresh food. I thought that was very nice.

Food - taste was below par. Not labelled properly. For the money paid, its very bad quality food . Not even an item is prepared with care. Every item feels like reheated stuff. There is some wired smell in fried items, which I think may be because of using cheap oil or reused oil.All the deserts are store bought stuff, which doesnt give you the satisfaction of having a Chinese meal.Even water is bad at this place 😂Ambience-entire place and utensils are not clean. Bad smell all over the place. Some dead fish in the fountain makes it even more scary.Service - only thing they asked is how many number of people and 💵.Cost- 13$ (inclusice of taxesnot even a cent worth😐Experience - overall a negative experience. The buffet had an excellent variety of food and when a pan got low, they filled it immediately. There is also a koi pond in the entrance for all to enjoy. There was several tables, and booths for seats. The waiters were always on the ball with drinks and anything else you might need.

Looks like they are having a different management practice. The fruit tray have different presentation, looks great, and my kids love them. Some new dishes are added, and I post some of my favorite dishes.I also noticed another change, which is in the restroom. I like this scence

I had a stop at this Chinese place on my road trip last week; I was surprised I found such a good buffet in Maryville. They have the best General Tso’s chicken.

Food was well done, and they have a great selection. The staff are friendly.

Went for seafood buffet night and our waitress, Wanda, was very nice and quick with refilling drinks, taking plates, etc. 10/10!

UPDATE: I orders egg drop soup and what they gave me has mold in itwas enjoying every thing nicely the food was good this time around but then I look down and found a thick black hair in my food that was not mine completely destroyed my appetite and experience

Could have had more shrimp dishes and fried green beans on the buffet. Other than that it was great. Help were very polite and nice.

Stopped here for lunch while on a hunting trip. Food was good and hot. Seems like there could have been a bit more for selection and the water fountain was too loud. Other wise good service from the staff.

The food was very good, but the service was lacking. I understand this is a buffet, but it seemed the 4 staff members were more interested in their phones than refilling drinks or bringing the check.

Ive never had any problems like the lowest star reviews. Food was always warm and staff were so nice. Their food is delicious and Ive always loved it. Dont trust the 1 star reviews.

Very little to choose from on the buffet, wasnt all that hot either! Staff pretty rude! The security cameras are super annoying with the lights flashing on and off. Super over priced for what you get.

So it used to be great now half their buffet is gone and its 85% chicken dishes one pork one beef. Sorry but not worth the money. Food is ok. Go to Happy Garden their food is awesome.

The worst service I have ever received. The manager was rude and was blatantly disrespectful to me and my family. When calmly asking what we did as costumers to receive such treatment, the manager laughed in our faces. Not only that but another costumer intervened to mention that she too had been treated badly by the same guy. The food is average and the buffet is over priced for the treatment that comes with it. Only good thing I could say about the place is the fact that the waiters did a great job and that was the only reason I tipped. I dont recommend

The place is always clean. The food never sits under the heat lamps too long so it never gets too dry. Service is great, I’ve never had to ask for my check, they are on top of bussing dirty dishes while you dine. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Very little cold food no refills offered quick to give ticket

HORRIBLE. Ordered deliver, waited 45 minutes just for them to call me and tell me to come pick it up. I tell them I’m not coming to pick up food if I had to pay $5 for delivery fees. They tell me they’ll drop it off but asked me what my order was again??? Because that makes sense. Then they say the delivery driver is on the way, they call me and knock on my door saying they delivered it. I go to the door and there’s no food. I call back they said they’ll call the driver. 20 minutes goes by and nothing, I call back they told me they’re just going to make me new food, I asked for a refund 4 times before they would give me one. Horrible horrible experience.

Every Friday and Saturday night they feature Seafood. Crab legs, Frog legs, Crawdads, Shrimp, a few different ways. We enjoy eating at Joy Wok on the weekends. Friendly service.

Always loved this place!! Ive been going there since 2014 and never been let down. Fresh food with affordable prices. Hands down, the best Chinese food place in Maryville.10/10

Good food. Recommend the beef on a stick. Don’t know that actual name, but that’s what it is.Sushi is standard, good if you’ve never tried it or just a big sushi fan.Good service, beautiful aesthetic.Do not participate in any raffles, they are scams. (It’s usually a PlayStation raffle, but it may change)

Its pretty good but I dont even eat the seafood and dont think I should have to pay for something I dont eat. Only took $1 off the bill for it. And its offered on Friday And Saturday. So you dont get regular all you can eat on those nights.

It was the worst dining experience ever . I was sick for 3 days had to go to the emergency room.i told the manager the food was old and bad she said leave now I said ok she said you paid now leave

This is a comfort place for us to eat. There are days where things could hit or miss, but generally it is fantastic. Our trip tonight, everything was over the top good. No sushi tonight, so if you were looking for that in this review, sorry. It is there however.

This place will over charge you for food! The waitress asked if me and my friend got seafood and we said no. She handed us a receipt for $22, then we went up to the cashier to pay. The lady at the cashier threw away our ticket and reprinted another one for $29 and we asked why so much and she said because of the seafood... but yet we didn’t touch any seafood while at the buffet. Terrible customer service, and food isn’t that great for the price.

This place should be closed! Food was horrible. They must add a cup of sugar to everything! Restrooms were disgusting. Doors were broken. Floors are filthy and their tables were not much better. We tasted the food said it was horrible so we paid $30 to not even eat there. Seafood was borderline poisonous. Do not eat here. When someone suggested the HyVee had better Chinese we should have taken the red flag.

It has a very nice decorated restaurant. It has American, Chinese, & Japanese ( sushifood. It is good food & the waiters & waitresses are kind & good workers. I have eaten here twice & both times were different food on the buffet. The prices are a little steep to dine out for families. If you can, save up & dine there.

Always have loved this place but tonight just getting fruit towards the end of my meal a cockroach was crawling by the pineapple... I told the front counter and he said he has never seen one before. I hope thats true always eat here i dont know about that anymore...
