Very nice Archery shop. I had visited a couple of time trying to decide on a new Crossbow so I shot a few and couldn’t decide. Went home talked with others about different crossbows , then returned to try the Mission Sub-1 and XR. Really liked the Sub-1 and purchased it for a price $300 less than everyone else that I shopped at. Great customer service and advice. I will return soon. My Sub-1 is perfect for Hunting, much better than my old Tenpoint.

Havent been for a while but passed it again today and wanted to note... Sure... go here and spend your money on overpriced items but your not worthy to use the indoor bathroom facilities. Theres one filthy disgusting portapot outside. No thanks. Ill shop elsewhere. You should too.

My daughter and I stopped by the trading post while reroute trying to find a trailer on Thursday. This place was amazing and all the staff there were great people especially the young man that worked behind the gun counter. I was taken back by how knowledgeable he was about guns. I even bought one myself and it was the last one they had. We bought some hats and shirts as well. Everyone was friendly and the best country folk you would want to meet . I will travel back there and do business with them again. Thankyou guys.

Great place to shop they will negotiate and offer discounts on buying in bulk. Very friendly and personable employees. Since I buy guns and accessories weekly these people got a lifelong customer. A++ dont question the negative comments there is always people you cannot please.

If you are in Pennsylvania you have to stop here. The people are great and the store is a great insight into life in the area.

Wouldn’t recommend trading a gun in there at all.. better yet wouldn’t recommend going there at all.. to many bad experiences from archery to firearms even clothing

Was looking to retire my grandfathers 740 woodmaster 30/06. Decided to purchase a 7600 remington pump action 30/06. Talked with two local dealers one with in walking distance, the other about two miles away from my home. Both told me the 7600 was not available. I emailed Juniata in March and picked up my new rifle this past weekend. Although its a 1 hour drive with out a doubt they will get my business from here on out.

Very dissapointed. bought a model 16 savage in the 308 cal. apprx. 3 years ago was shooting the gun 2 days prior to opening day for hunting when it started misfiring apprx. 50% of the time.( was not the ammo had to do something so i took it back to juniata trading hoping they would try to either resolve the issue or possibly do a trade , well they looked at it for a sec, took it out back to fire it ( which it took 2 ppl to do because the first guy somehow jammed the bolt in the half way position super hard, ( had never done that before but after finally getting it unjammed they fired 2 shots with it came back inside and said because of what the gun did they could only offer me a very minamal amount for the gun due to it not working right so basically they sold me a 550 dollar gun that had issues from the start and would not stand behind it at all so i had no choice but to buy a new gun ( which they charged me 100% full price so yeah very very poor in trying to satisfy the customer, i bought 4 guns there already and i have family and friends that shop there all the time but now that is about to change, i thought this place was a customer first place, but now i know its just the opposite i wil deff not be going there anymore for any major purchases,

Stop in to look at shotgun wait about 5min no one came to help me then i went to the archery department to buy field points still no one came to see if i need anything i guess u got to go get some help they sure dont ask if they can help u that bad customer service

This places prices on everything beat Bass pro Cabelas and field and stream. Best hunting store in the area. Never had any trouble with them

This place has a wide variety of items. This includes firearms and accessories, knives, fishing equipment, and clothing. The people are also friendly here. My only complaint is that the prices are often a lot higher than anywhere else.

Bought a holster, when I tried it at home it was too tight. Took it back for refund. Was told no refunds, only store credit. They dont tell you this and it is not on receipt. They say you need to read sign up above eye level on the wall. Dont know about you but I dont read every sign in a store when shopping. Talking to a lawer about small claims court to get my money back. He says I have a case. What a ripoff, anyone want to buy my $50 store credit?

Juniata Trading Company does not hold to their word on pricing even after they take your money. In my experience, I wanted to purchase two identical rifles. The representative researched the price of the gun and gave me a price of $629.99. I then paid Juniata 500 dollars per gun (a total of $1000on layaway. They printed me a receipt with the price of the guns and said they would call me when the gun came in.When the first gun came in, I went to the store expecting to pay what I owed on layaway for one of the guns (629.99 total). However, they upped the price on the first gun another 50 bucks so now I had to pay 679.99. Keep in mind I already had a receipt for how much the gun cost and already paid 500 dollars on it. I didnt give them too much grief even though I thought it was poor business practice to up prices that already are agreed upon, especially to loyal customers.However, when the second gun came in they decided they would rather make more money off of another customer than to honor their deal with a current customer. They called me and said the other gun was in, so I went in to pick up the second gun and pay the remainder of the layaway. However, since the Newtown shootings the price they can make off of this particular gun went up. So when I went in to pick up the item, they decided they would not honor the sale they had made to me, but instead they gave me back my layaway money and put an exorbitant price on the gun.Poor businesses practices all around, made by selfish individuals that just care about making money. Too bad they are too greedy to realize that loyal customers and a good reputation is what will keep them in business. This high price gun craze will subside and they will be left with nothing.
