Kansas State Driver License Station in Neosho County

This place is awesome! The people are SO friendly and helpful. They seem to enjoy their job and are just good people. Seriously, we started driving here a few years ago instead of our home town dmv simply because of how kind the employees are here.

When I went in the staff that I talked to was very rude and it took forever to get my license renewed. I was in there for 2 hours before I got to talk to one of the staff. I’m never going back there again after how I was treated by the staff. If there was a zero star option it would have been more fitting than one star.

I waited on January 3, 2020 for over an hour with one person working and answering phone and 2 ppl ahead of me getting processed in that time span. The waiting room was full with some ppl walking in and seeing the crowded room and leaving. I left after an hour when I calculated I would probably be there another 45 minutes before being called. I came back twice after lunch to the same conditions. Not good!!!

After a disappointing visit at the Iola DL office last week, the Chanute office was WONDERFUL! Don was absolutely the best. He was very understanding of my frustration with the previously mentioned office. After getting my renewal, he invited us to stop by anytime if I had any issues. I dont care what DL office you go to in SE Kansas, the Chanute office is the best. Thank you again Don for taking care of an old, wheelchair pushing driver. You have renewed my faith in customer service.

Im not even sure how I feel. It took me longer to get my breakfast this morning than it took to change a dl from Tennessee to Kansas. I walked in fully expecting a 2 hour ordeal and about 10 trips to get the "right" paperwork. Lindsay (hope the spelling is correctwas absolutely awesome. Fast and efficient. I have put off getting my license changed for 2 years now. If I would have known it would be that fast..... Honestly the whole experience was just great. Not what I was expecting at all. Keep up the awesome work yall.

I went and tested for my class a cdl permit here. There were 3 people behind the counter ( i didnt catch any names unfortunatleybut they were awesome! Very supportive and helpful! If i could they would definetly earn a 10 out of 5 stars. Absolutely recommend to anyone who needs a dmv service
