Kettle Hole Trail, Nittany Mtn. Road in Union County

Trail does not match trail as identified in alltrails app. First mile gains just under 900 ft elevation. Not well cleared trail. Great excersize.

The trail is cleared of face and leg slapping brush from Spruce Run Rd to the top at Nittany Mtn Rd. There are about 12 logs across that section of trail yet though. It is a nice, tough climb to the top.

High potential to be a good trail, but overgrown with lots of thorns. Currently passable, but could use a good clearing. Trail hash marks are fairly worn in some areas, but trails are still mostly discernable.

Beautiful in the Fall, a must see!
