Had the beef bulgogi: excellent. Portion was slightly small (looked big thoughn I was still hungry after that.Friendly waiters n boss.Plenty of space for weekday lunch. Would be better if there are lunch deals.Clean loo.
Ive gone a few times, and the place itself is pretty good. In my opinion its pretty pricey but thats nothing new for Korean restaurants here, its also family run so its kinda fair. The kimchi IS REALLY good though and their fried chicken is nothing but recommendable. The grill is nice, though i recommend the meat grills rather than the seafood one, all servings are large, the soup/noodle bowls leave nothing to wish for :(personally prefer them to the grills)However, if you see theres a lot of people, dont bother, the place is really small and the service gets easily overwhelmed when theres many customers, very long waiting times. I recommend going for lunch on weekdays, because evenings on weekends... its just waiting to be left waiting for hours...Good atmosphere and music though, Ill continue visiting.
Waiting was not a problem because I had time, served with wrong dishes was not a problem because I‘m open to any food. The only problem was the extremely aggressive waiter(the one with Middle East face), just pour his anger from work onto customers. Won’t be visiting again as long as he‘s still working there, already shared my experience with all my friends.
A very good restaurants! Price + test+ ambiance!
food was good BUTthere was 0 efficiency in the kitchen. it felt as if the chef was cooking 1 dish at a time instead of being efficient with his cooking methods. i had 5 people on my table with each ordering 1 dish. each dish came 20 minutes apart from each other, making our total dining time to almost 2 hours. we all ordered a kimchi soup dish so i dont understand why they took so long to prepare everything or even for it to come together. everything came seperately. probably wouldnt come again
Food okay. Customer service terrible. Really slow and the waiter told us what tip he wants.
It doesnt look that appealing from the other side but it is a hidden treasure in Stuttgart. One of the most authentic Korean restaurants in Germany. Almost the same lever as in Korea. The food was absolutely delicious. The staff is really friendly and kind. Definitely the best Korean restaurant in Germany so far. Cant wait to eat there again
Aside from the wait and the heat, this place was on point. Food was super delicious and I feel like anywhere that has a strong Asian clientele must be good.
We were a party of 3.Traveling from Munich to Stuttgart takes 3 hours 20 minutes. For half that time, we have waited for our food... order to be taken! Honestly, the restaurant owners are over their head by offering so many seats while not having the capacity to meet the demand. The first waiter, although we were sympathetic to his plight, did not help the situation much by taking half an hour to take our drink orders, delivering them after another 30 minutess. The first waiter had to ask us 3 times what we ordered. He didnt write it down anywhere. The other waiter occasionally stuck his head out to check the situation. Leaving dealing with the customers to the 1st waiter. When they did not have our ordered item on stock, he just brought out another thing without telling us first. When another item was out of stock, he didnt bother to tell us from the start, only after we were hungrily eating whatever came out.In the end food came out pretty meh. Kimchi was just salty. No sourness, no spiciness. Bulgogi was as salty as our sweat as we endured the sun without drinks. It took them an hour after orderingTo bring out one dish (kimchi), 30 minutes to bring out the next (bulgogiand 40 minutes after the 30 mins for a seafood bibimbap. The dish for our 3rd person did not arrive.Honestly, if you drop by and see a lot of people and only 2 people working the kitchen, save yourself the wait. Or you might as well go get a coffee from the place across while waiting for your food and drinks.
The food was average. But it took too many times to get the dishes. And they speak English. And remember to take cash. They don’t pay by card.
They don’t habe enough people to work in the restaurant. You have to wait for a long time until you can order food. We tried to order food then by the counter but he said we should go back to our table. And then I suppose that he forgot us. And also long time to wait till you are served the food.
Food is nice. But super crowded. Waited from 8pm to 9pm to get the food.
Loved the food here, great taste. Definitely will visit the place again and again 🙂
Delicious food at reasonable prices. Friendly service.
Excellent food. The service is a little bit long but the quality of the food and the price are really good 👍
Tasty food with a lot of Varietés and huge portions. Friendly staff but small place , hence most of the times bit crowded.
We ordered Nr. 204 and waited it for 1 hour:)When it was finally there, we found there had no sweet potato noodle or rice cake. Therefore we asked the waiter twice and finally he brought the sweet potato noodle. The flavour was good but the service and environment were not ok.
Food did smell delicious, waitress was very kind, but we waited over 45 min and didn’t received any food and ask for to go, but they didn’t even started to prepare our order, so we cancelled
Peaceful and less crowded!Good and Fast service!
Food was incredible delicious, we had the osambulgogi and Korean fried chicken. The osambulgogi was by far one of the most delicious things I ever ate.The fried chicken was crispy and tasty and came with a dip.The young waitress was really friendly and helpful. We had to wait a bit before going in since all seats were taken but since its a small restaurant thats to be expected.I also dont get the negative reviews about waiting for food. Its a small local place that also does takeout, of course it can take time if multiple orders come in.We got our food relatively fast since its cooked on the table. If you want your food in 5 minutes you should go to McDonalds.
Must try bibimbap and ramen 🍜One of the best place around for good Korean food, budget friendly, but you might have to wait outside sometimes if you go without appointment.
The food is amazing! It comes with a little spice, but very good. Will definitely go back.
Actually I should not give any star for this restaurant because it could have turned into a life-threatening experience today!!!!I came to this place with two family members. We were so excited to try out an authentic korean BBQ experience. We chose this restaurant as it had the most positive reviews among other korean restaurants in Stuttgart. We came on a Saturday at around 6 pm, i.e. about 1 hour after opening. In the morning, we tried to make a reservation, but unfortunately they dont accept any reservations. As we came, there was already a long queue waiting outside! As we came extra to try out the food, we waited for about 1 hour in the freezing weather outside. We had this anticipation that its going to be an amazing food experience because all these people were waiting outside. After 1 hour we were taken to a table. The place looked shady, cramped, crowded, badly air-conditioned and unhygenic. This was not at all visible from outside. The floor was really oily that we had to watch our steps. As we were 3 persons with big appetite, we ordered for 2 BBQ sets (Samgeopsal & Bulgogi). Korean fried chicken & Hite (korean beerwhich we really wanted to try, were already sold out, just after 1 hour after opening!!! The waiter didnt know German well and was difficult to be understood. Then the two big old-looking table grills came which work with gas. It was written EXCPLICITLY on the grill that its only for outdoor purpose or to be used in a well ventilated room. The restaurant was congested without any kind of ventilation and smoky. We were bit concerned about the gas grill but gave it a go. The the food came! The waiter had no idea at all how to put ALL the food on the table because the table was too small. We actually needed a bigger table but the waiter wanted to pile up the foods on the table where already food were served and tried to balance the plates on the table edges. We had to send him away by telling him that its too dangerous! In addition, he didnt tell us at all how to start the grill. We had to call him again for that.It was SOOO CONGESTED at table that we had no space at all to even put our chopsticks down. It was NOT AT ALL AN ENJOYABLE ambience. The food was good, but not very overwhelming. Corona seems not heard at all here. Despite of 2G+ rule in Baden-Würtemberg, our covid certificates were not checked and the place was cramped without any distance between tables & chairs! Then the UNBELIEVABLE thing happened. The couple just beside us with table grill tried to turn it on and a big FIRE BALL was triggered. All gasped and were shocked including us. The waiter came by as if nothing has happened and turned their gas grill again after replacing the gas cylinders infront of us. IT COULD HAVE TURNED OUT REALLY LIFE ENDANGERING if any alcohol was involved! But thank god, nothing happened. We just wanted to get out of there asap after this incident.I really dont understand how this place got this popular. We know how is an aunthentic korean BBQ because we have tried it in person in Seoul, South Korea. Anybody who knows what is an authentic korean BBQ wont recommend this place!!!
The food is very good and staff is trying to be nice but its sadly a very small restaurant, they do not respect any reservations made on the phone and make you wait outside until somebody is done. Waiting time is very long.
Fried chicken is a must and the kimchi is exceptional. The main dishes are also great. Just be careful with weekend reservations. Had to wait an hour past our reservation time before being seated.
Great Korean Food. I can only recommend it.
Delicious food and big portions! Prices are medium but remember this is family owned! Two cooks which i assume is wife and husband and a waiter. The Food is heavenly, authentic korean cuisine. The cooks dont speak english or german, only the waiter does.Definetly worth a visit, we will come again!Ps: the bulgogi is a must!
Phenomenally delicious food! The service was a little out of sync with the kitchen, but Im so glad we stopped by. I will be back for more spicy bulgogi! Fresh, awesome, highly recommend.
Really good food, lots of choice, dishes are BIG. The grill for 2 can easily feed 4 people. The radish is so good and Kimchi great as well. The place is small and popular though so you better make a reservation. Good quality/quantity/price ratio. I advise you to eat outside as the bbq is hot. Although the environment is not really nice, the food largely makes up for it. Oh and... go for number 53!!
Was a bit of a wait but it was a spontaneous decision to come here anyway. The food was absolutely incredible, so delicious!! Best Korean food in Stuttgart. We tried rice cakes, fried chicken and pork belly. It was suuuper busy throughout the whole evening and the team did so well. Definitely coming back!
It was my 3rd time there. Food is pretty good, but services slow when they are busy, and they are normally busy😅. Staff is nice and menu is in English. If you eat outside bring sun screen, there is no shade.
Good Korean food and they have more complex dishes, which other Korean restaurants in Stuttgart do not dare to do. If it is very busy, they can struggle with wait times. This is more noticeable in the summer since the outdoor area is large and their kitchen remains small.
We came there early after opening hours to have brunch. Food was delicious and portion was very satisfying. Service was also quick. Be sure to go there early though as people tend to flock and line up outside on lunch time because a lot eat here apparently and the place is also not the roomiest.
In my opinion, food is really tasty ! A big portion and price is friendly. I’m so happy with Korean food here. I like to order for take away but if you eat at restaurant maybe a bit Stress with waiter or waitress (idk if they are not too active because of some reason ?actually not that so bad. I just like food and that it
I went here with my friends and we really enjoyed the food. The food is delicious and has a reasonable price. Try the Korean fried chicken. On the negative side, the place is small and they only have few staff which means it takes longer time to get your order. But I recommend to try here.
Very nice place to visit and try Korean food and drinks. Variety of different dishes ranging from different types of meat as well as seafood. The only reason to rate 4 out of 5 is poor quality of service which I hope is due to COVID-19. If you come on the weekend be ready to stay in a queue until you will be seated.
Amazingly good Korean food and worth it for the spicy flavor and great service.
Cash only. One server even though the restaurant was packed. Server kept messing up orders.Food quality was good.
Awesome restaurant!Been there for dinner with my wife and we both enjoyed it a lot. I looked that they had good vegetarian options. So I had a vegetarian meal and my wife a seafood dish. We both were really happy with the size and taste.Recommend to go there !
If youre looking for some real Korean food, this is the place to go! The menu is fairly extensive and the prices are very reasonable. Just dont go with a big group, and keep in mind that good things take time (its a very small place with a very small kitchen). Its 100% worth the wait though - this is the best Korean food Ive found in Germany so far!
Nice and friendly staff. Delicious spices. Many varieties. Average potato noodles.
Its a good taste of korean soup.. got a chance to try kimchi jigae with the noodle soup... comfortable food to eat..
Fun people that let us stay longer to feed us. I had the bulgogi noodles that were tasty but wished they already had the korean cold noodles which apparently it wasnt summerly enough. I didnt make it back during summer so I hope theyll have it next time.
Horrible service. Food comes out one dish at a time 25 mins apart from each other. So if you plan on eating together with someone forget it. Your food will be stone cold before the next dish arrives. Flavours are alright, but doesn’t make up for the horrible experience. If your eating alone and have time to kill then it’s ok.
Staff speak Thai. Very disappointing food. Still to find a real Korean place... Place is a bit run down and dirty. Waiter got bill wrong 3 times... Shocking experience. never again.....
The food taste amazing, and the price is good. The shop is small and waiting time is possible to be long, but well worth the wait. Its not a fast food place, so please ignore those 1 star review complaing about the waiting time
As a Korean, I recommend this place :)It’s not exactly super Korean taste, but well customized! I wanted have cold noodle, but the season hasn’t started yet. Next time i will try to get it again !
Delicious Korean food. Good and fair price. I love the traditional Bi Bim Bap with sesame marinated fried beef, cucumber slices, sunny side up egg, and veggies with hot sauce. Place is extremely small. Either come early to grab a seat or reserve beforehand. Korean Sushi is served for free before every main meal.
Most authentic Korean food restaurant in Stuttgart. Dishes are tasty and spicy - great for cold winter days. The place is usually packed. Thus, come early or expect a wait and cozy seating with your fellow patrons. Prices are reasonable but service needs improvement.
Best Korean restaurant in Stuttgart. Forget mandu and eat drink man woman. If you speak Korean, there is even a special menu for you! I’m already dreaming about eating here again. Highly recommended!!! Very small so make a reservation and they only take cash. Unfortunately the beer menu is small, wine menu and dessert menu is none existent.
