Kings Harbor Resort in Barry County

My 1st year to Shell Knob. Although their web site sucks and is not too informative, Kings Harbor was a fun place. Right off the main highway, no curvy back roads to navigate with the boat. Getting to the boat dock was a quick trip down the hill. One person in our group did not like the fact that he could not see the boat dock from our cabins. Very clean, pool was great, ladies very accommodating. We were a big group (18and occupied 5 cabins. Using the community room with the pool table was perfect for us.

This place has definitely seen better days. Much nicer places to stay nearby for less money.

This resort is our home away from home. Judy and Joan are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The pool is clean and big, my kids lobe to play on the playground and play each other in tennis. If you are a boater or just want to spend tome swimming in the lake their docks are perfect. Highly recommend Kings Harbor to everyone

We always stay here when we go to the lake. Judy is great.

Stayed there for 7 nights had a great time... Room was clean the owners were great.. nice pool thats open all night, the grounds are nice... If I had to find a complaint the only thing I could find would be the boat ramp could use a little work.. other than that this is a wonderful place would recommend it to anyone.

Mrs Judy was very accommodating to our last minute reservations.We had a great experience the amenities are good.This place felt like going to grammas home very homey.exactly what we needed to tie in our whole nature experience.I would have like it for the halls to be a little quieter in the middle of the night but other than that everyone was respectful and kind.

We had an amazing trip to Kings Harbor! We went down Sun-Weds and it was perfect. The dock and pool were both fun to take the kids swimming. We had floats and just tied them to the dock. The dock is a little drive, but still on property. It was nice because we didn’t have to worry about the kids going to the lake without supervision. It’s in a great location and only 20 min away from fun activities. Judy was amazing! Always smiling and very helpful. The rooms were VERY clean. Totally reminded me of family vacations to the lake. Can’t wait to go back next year!

This property was absolutely fantastic. I wasnt sure what to expect from the pictures, but I certainly felt it would be a bit rustic. Turns out it was charming as can be. Definitely well loved, but very well maintained over the years. The proximity to the dock was perfect. A short drive and a great place to catch some waves with our floats attached. Judy and Janie were great, but Judy really made our stay amazing. They were kind, compassionate, accomodating, and you can tell they take pride in their family business. I highly suggest a visit, perfect for families and groups of friends.

We love staying here! Affordable, clean, and great staff! Super close to Table Rock and on-site docking for fishing, boating, kayaking.

This I my first review and thought enough of this little piece of heaven to do so. This was a guys trip, party of 4. My experience met all expectations. Iluminated dock for night fishing, staff is very accomadable, pool is open 24 hrs, nice rec room with a pool table, groomed grounds, cold AC, kichette with dishes for 4, isolation but close enough to town for resources...loved our stay Judy. Thank you for having us.

Kings Harbor is always a great place to stay. Cute, cozy kitchenettes or rooms, crystal clean pool, tennis court, kids playground, lake access for fishing. The services are always top notch and Joanie and Junie always go out of their way to make your stay as friendly as can be. We will be back again!!!

Beautiful rooms and property and Judy is the most friendly hostess ever!

The good: It was clean, and the owners are genuine good folks. The rest: The buildings are outdated no doubt. The conclusion: there are no Hiltons or Marriotts around this area, so you if you need to stay around Shell Knob, this place will treat you just fine!

Good service, but small rooms.

Owners are very friendly, very accommodating, all around good people! Place is pretty much original but very clean, not run down. Its nothing fancy, but wasnt expecting fancy. Nice location on water, boat slips well taken care of.

You do not get what you pay for here! Expensive rooms that are dirty and outdated and the owner actually hung up on me when I called the office and asked for an extra blanket for my baby. Terrible experience

A beautiful place in the Ozarks. Anything you might need, they have it or know where to get it. Gentlemen, these girls can out fish you.

Facilities are clean, but can we get some new linens in here? The towels are yellow. Not just dingy. Yellow. And they have been around so long they dont exactly absorb much anymore. Same does for the sheets. Time to replace! Dont get me started on the beds. I think theyre older than I am and it feels like youre out to sea if anyone sits down next to you.On the plus side, everything is neat and tidy. The grounds are well-kept (if not datedand the cabins are neat. The pool is sparkling, but be aware of the pool deck. The concrete around it is shifting and creates a great fall risk.

Cant get any better, unless you like being an anonymous guest at some chain hotel on the strip with a bunch of other tourists paying too much for too little. This is a family owned and operated business. This place doesnt have everything, but what it does have is priceless. The other positive reviews are accurate. The place is also secure. They do not allow unregistered guests or people off of the street to use the facilities or drive around property and it is posted. There are lockers on the docks for your personal belongings. There are only two on staff but they are always present and aware. It is safe for families and a great place for children to run free a little while mom chills by the pool. BYOB no glass. There is a huge yard around the pool and a playground, tennis court with basketball goal, billiard room with big TV and speakers you can plug in your own tunes. They take great care of the guests and the property. If you dont like your stay, then I can only say that good vibes always drive away nasty ones, and if you dont come back there will be more room for us who love it. God Bless America.

Great place to stay for a bit!

Our family reunion was amazing yet again ... two years in a row and this place is perfect for all of us ... we make ourselves at home ... the owners are very nice women that make whatever accommodations we need and they even come take our family reunion pic for us every year ... love this place ... already making reservations for next year !!!

Kings Harbor is great! I would recommend it for anyone interested in heading to Table Rock Lake. The owners are very accommodating to their guests. We easily make ourselves at home there. Pool is convenient, rooms with balcony are very pleasant and our kids always enjoy the billiards room. We have had a great experience every time weve stayed.

I absolutely LOVE this place! It is a great place to stay. We have held our Family Reunion here for two years now. The owners are absolutely amazing, they will do anything to make sure your stay is perfect, and the way that you want it.

Our first visit to King Harbor resort was a great experience! We ended up with more family coming than originally planned, and Judy & Joanie had no problem accommodating us in a larger room, and then an additional room. It was great that they offer free ice each day, free coffee, use of washer/dryer at no charge. The variety of rooms and the other amenities make for a great get away. The girls were very friendly and helpful, always around to take care of any requests from the guests, and we will definitely make this our go-to place when we visit Table Rock.

This place is amazing! The owners are so friendly! They would give you the shirt off their back if you ask! Love it!
