Great food, my first time there very unique experience in dining.Crab rangoons are the best.First night for using chopsticks all the way through the dinner.

Amazing sushi. Hard to believe this good of sushi can be in Syracuse! Get the Kiyomi roll and the volcano are so good. And the Kani salad with avocado added is a must have. Great service!

On a whim tried the Kiyomi resturant, and was very impressed. Despite being the busiest resturant in town, the owners went out of thier way to make our experience special. The miso soup was great, as were our specialty rolls. We highly recommend this resturant for those looking for authentic Japanese Cusine away from metropolitan areas.

This is our favorite place to get sushi in Michiana. Very friendly staff. Great food. Ive never had a bad experience here.

Yum Yum Yum!!!! Their Kiyomi roll is to die for!! Mango, coconut sauce can we say yes please! Always super friendly when I come in, love this little jewel of a place so close to home!! Dont forget to tip the guys making your sushi also!!

Stopped in a little late, had tables ready for us to sit in. The kids really liked their food, dynamite roll lived up to name! Wife had enough food for three people as she ordered a dinner. 3 Togo boxes and an easy lunch for us tomorrow.

Always a great experience going to Kiyomi! The clear soup is a family favorite (note to self, order 4 bowls instead of 2and the dynamite roll is always a favorite (I may order ahead and have this as an afternoon snack on my way home from work). The kids enjoy the hibachi and live eating with chopsticks, a skill I still have not mastered!

They give larger portions than many other Japanese restaurants, the staff is friendly, and the owner is the nicest person. Definitely worth

Wonderful restaurant with excellent food. Ive been all over the East Coast, and this is definitely my favourite Japanese restaurant. The owner is so kind - the second time I visited with my fiance, she immediately recognized us, so we quickly became regulars. I recommend the King Salmon Roll if you like sushi, and the fried rice is top notch!

Very good place, staff was very friendly. Server was polite and quick to help with and questions and even suggested this recommendations.With that said sushi was a 10/10 Godzilas was fresh, hot and good.Unfortunately I didnt enjoy the entree as much. It was very tasty and satisfying just wasnt as fresh as the sushi. Would come again but will stick with sushi or something more appealing.

Unbelievable experience. Would expect this level of Japanese Cuisine in a major city. Syracuse has a gem in Kiyomi.

Waited for 10 min to get drinks. People walked in after got served before us. Wanted hibachi. Chef wasnt there to make order. Left. Had local great consistent Mexican food

Stopped by for lunch and ordered the dynamite roll, It was absolutely delicious and probably one of the best lunches I’ve had in a long time. I have ordered several different items off the menu and everything is delicious and fresh. The people that run the restaurant are absolutely fabulous and are the nicest people you’ll ever meet. Syracuse is very lucky to have them in town!

A complete disappointment!They use imitation crab meat and tastes just as horrible as it sounds, couldn’t even eat the sushi roll.The hibachi was absolutely disgusting. The sauce or paste that they serve the meat and seafood in is so fishy and horrible. Literally like glue consistency.Soup was nothing but bland broth and the salad was huge chunks of lettuce with nothing else.The best thing we ordered was the soda!

Small place, but the best sushi rolls I have had since a literal 4 star place in California. Wasnt expecting this in small town Indiana, but definitely a must if you like japanese. The gyoza was also amazing.

We just moved back from living in Japan for 10 years and our whole family has been missing Japanese food so much. Who knew that we could find it in small town Indiana! We ordered a variety of dishes and they were all really delicious. Even the service was just as excellent as we experienced during our time in Japan. We truly felt at home, and I have a feeling we will make the trip regularly. We cannot wait until it gets a little bit cooler so we can come back and try the ramen! Arigato gozaimasu 🙇‍♀️

OK I have to be honest with you all. I totally skipped this place a few months ago because it looked sketchy. I mean, it kinda does. What a huge mistake. We went by recommendation from a friend. Im telling you this is some of the best Japanese food in a non big city establishment Ive ever had. We had sushi, some hibachi and some spring rolls.It was very busy when we got there. Almost all tables were taken. Understandably we didnt get our food super quick but I wouldnt say it was slow at all. Everything was good and what we had left over was eaten the next day and it reheated well. You know... Sometimes food just doesnt reheat the next day very well. This did.WE WILL BE BACK.

You will not find a better restaurant. So caring my waiter offered his phone to hotspot so I could complete work. So clean, I could not find dust. All staff very friendly and HAPPY! Most importantly... the food is AMAZING. Wide variety and creative (NY strip steaks to traditional rolls and everything in between). I wish other restaurants would try to be like Kiyomi. They should be proud of their establishment. 20/10 I do recommend.

The Kiyomi roll is delicious. Bento boxes are good as well. If dining in be prepared to wait for sushi as they tend to work carry out orders before dining room.

Wonderful people, good service, good food, and the price is reasonable. Sometimes the food can take a bit to get out. If your wanting your food in a more timely manner, get the sushi. Its pretty good for being in Syracuse Indiana.

Food is always good, friendly service, and its close by. I dont have to drive into Fort Wayne or Warsaw to get good Japanese Food.

Went there for the first time recently and the food was amazing. I never thought Id like sushi as I typically enjoy bland foods with no sauce mixed in but the chicken tempura roll was delicious as was the hibachi shrimp with fried rice that was unbelievably good. The ramen was very tasty and warming and my boyfriend couldnt stop raving about their sweet roll. The server and host were also very pleasant and helpful we feared we may be out of our league ordering Japanese for the first time but they made us feel very comfortable and confident in our selections. We dined out but the cozy atmosphere has us wanting to go again just to enjoy the relaxing and cozy atmosphere.

Its been 2 years roughly since i used to be a weekly customer here and the staff instantly remembered me asked if i finally moved back in the area sadly i have not but the food is still amazing and the service is still impeccable i dont think i could find a single thing to complain about if i tried if you find yourself in the area stop by for friendly service and great food

As always the food was great. It had been way to long since Id been here and while traveling home late from work and the family already headed for their own food I took the opportunity. Never disappoints. The servers are very prompt and cordial but the owner! This lady is so customer service oriented that after I had ate, paid and walked out in 5 degree weather during snow fall she ran outside no coat as I was warming my truck just to ask if everything was good and tasted good. Said she was sorry she was so busy inside she didnt get a chance to speak to me then saw I was still in lot and had to come check on me. Super awesome friendly place to get Great Sushi soup and other food.

Kiyomi always has a consistent quality of food. We had excellent service. Everyone is so sweet and accommodating! The owners are super friendly and personable. This is a wonderful little restaurant that everyone should try out!

Wonderfully lovable owners and very respectable plates of food. The fried rice was solid and the surf clam incredibly good (both eaten before I photo!). Everything else was good, but not great. Eat here because they make Syracuse a better to live and visit. With that lens, it’s likely to become a new favorite.

Did not except too much for a Japanese place in Syracuse, Indiana but i have to say that it was probably the BEST Japanese place i have ever been to. The fried rice was BEYOND GOOD...i mean it was insane. The service was excellent and got the food quickly. If you want the BEST Japanese food you will ever have go to Kiyomi!!!!

For being in a tiny little town in the middle of the countryside in Indiana, very good Japanese restaurant. Very friendly and responsive staff. Great food. Decent amount of off street parking. Busy on weekend nights. Booths and tables. Food always tastes very fresh.

What a pleasant surprise! We just moved to the area and heard this place was good so we ordered some sushi for takeout. We were super happy with what we got. The Godzilla roll and the dynamite rolls were really tasty. Will definitely be back.

Very good menu, basic atmosphere, missing beer/wine, and clean. But lets face it, youre coming here for Sushi or Hibachi! And the chef is master of what theyre doing here. The food tastes as good as it looks which is why I gave a five star.
