Incredibly good food. Came here on a whim originally. The food is amazing. Think CupBop but waaaay better. Similar flavors and concepts, but the ingredients are higher quality, flavors are better, and the service is very friendly. Go here always instead of CupBop. Youll much prefer it. Theres also tons of other options for food, all of which were delicious. Top notch. Weve already gone back once since our first time a few days ago. Well be back 100%. This may be in my top 10 favorite restaurants of all time.I always get the spicy pork dupbop and I get it with a fried egg which I mix in with everything. So good. My wife loves the stone bowl. We both adore their Kimchi fried rice. Seriously I dont think you can go wrong here. Its all incredible. Absolutely try it out.
Pleasant staff and the food was ok. As a student, its one of the places you can have a hot meal, something other than fast food.
The korean food here is comfort food. I didnt expect it. 10/10
So good! I got the tofu stone bowl and it was amazing :)
This is by far our favorite restaurant in Provo. The food is consistently delicious for a fair price, and the service is always great. This is our go-to restaurant for comfort food or celebrations. We love you Koko, you go glen Koko! 🎉💕🎉
Great food and fast. The staff was helpful and friendly where this was our first time trying Korean food, awesome suggestions. Definitely going back and highly recommend others check it out.
Food was just okay. Shocked at the good reviews. The bathroom hallway and bathroom were filthy. Really disgusting and no excuse for not keeping at least somewhat clean. The health department needs to look into this.
I love their kimchi-jjigae, its one of my favorite dishes in Utah county. The spicy bulgogi is great as well. Delicious food, large portions and excellent service. They never disappoint.
Fantastic food with huge portions for a fair price. Though it took a moment to get our food, the place was very busy and it did not disappoint in the least. There is easily enough in a single order to serve as two decently sized meals. The variety of dishes and bobas was impressive, although the tarro was not my personal favorite, there are plenty of options to suite most anybody’s cravings
I get the stone bowl, add kimchi and add the sauces provided on the table and it is so so yummy. All the ingredients are always fresh and the servers are always kind. I would definitely recommend this spot for dine in.
Great spot for casual Korean food. Not many options available, but they have the basic stuff. I ordered the teriyaki pork dupbap and my friend the spicy pork dupbap. Both were great and were well sized portions. Slightly higher price for the food but still recommend to stop by if youd like something casual, good, and Korean
The stone bowl was delicious! Very fresh, and great sauces. The staff was very friendly and prompt. This place is a Provo hidden gem, so you get quick service and no lines. I’m definitely going back soon.
Best Korean food Ive ever had, this is a must try if you are coming to Utah and want amazing Korean food. I love kupbop and all the the other places around town but this takes the cake for having the best bolgogi and meat.
Went here for the first time with my cousin with no expectstions. Walked in explained we were new the toe men working were super friendly explained how things are done and throughout our meal did exceptional with making sure are needs were met. The pot stickers leave ya wanting more! 🤤 will definitely be back.
My first time eating Korean food and it was great. Get the Stone bowl! Its delicious and the rice noodle egg rolls are the best thing ever.
This is hands down the best Korean food in Utah county. Staff is so friendly, portions are great. Been looking for a solid Korean restaurant since Sam Hawk closed, this is the spot for sure!! If you’re on the fence come try it, you will not be disappointed.
This place was amazing. I havent found some of these dishes since we left Korea, so we were so excited to find them. The spicy ramen was so good! So was the kimchi and japchae. We ordered an additional fried egg for each person and it was all wonderful. Were from Salt Lake County, but will come here everytime we come to Provo! The bulgogi was great, too. The portions are big.
I drive out of the way for this place. They have the best kimchi! I love the egg and rice dish they have and the kimchi fried rice is bomb. Made fresh so prepare to wait
Really great and authentic Korean food at a very reasonable prices. A sit down or take-out layout with great views right next to BYU campus. The potstickers were great, and the spicy beef had more than enough food to fill me up.
Most of their food is way too sweet. People always say, thats just Korean food. It really isnt, thats just American Korean food. They have a good Tonkotsu Ramen, but they were out when I was there last. OK occasionally, not a favorite. But the staff is great. Friendly, attentive. Even when Im not thrilled with the food, I always end up leaving a tip.
One of our new favorite spots. We got the pot stickers,, beef bulgogi dupbop and the stone bowl bibimbop. All were delicious. Will definitely be back!
Koko Lunchbox holds a special place in my heart. I had a couple Asian coworkers recommend this place a few years ago and we would come almost once a week for a while!I remember wanting it beginning of COVID and Google showed they were closed. When I went a few weeks ago, I talked to the worker and he said the owner went to Korea and they recently started back up a few months ago. BEST THING EVER!All of their food is good. Cannot go wrong with anything! I got this rice cake ramen. It is perfect for cold winter days or if you just need a pick me up honestly! Their spicy pork is really yummy too! Their portions are awesome because it means you get yummy leftovers for later!Honestly just started craving their food as I’m writing this review!
Good flavor when you add the sauces. The lychee boba was great too! The best thing here is definitely the spicy pork dupbop. It is excellent! Slight sweetness with subtle spice!
Whether its Crash Landing on You, Vincenzo, Sky Castle, Squid Game, Boys Over Flowers, or Chocolate... KDramas are all the rage. If your wife is like mine, she wants to experience Korea. Koko Lunchbox is a great place to go to help anyone feel a little more Korean. We enjoyed the food and the service was really good. The people there are very nice. Im sure well be going here again.
Delicious, authentic, and affordable! The service was amazing as well. I was famished from not eating anything all day but came here with my family. I expected wed be waiting for a while, but we got our food within ten minutes of ordering. The portion sizes were also worth the price. I will for sure be coming here again!
Really awesome food. Great service. I got the spicy beef. It was a little awkward though. We went to the cash register to order and figured out we need to take a seat. It’s a dine in restaurant. Definitely a place to return.
Fantastic homey restaurant with large and affordable portions. I absolutely loved the spicy pork dupbop I had! I will definitely be back soon! 💯
Great authentic Korean food. The portions are MASSIVE, the food is tasty, and it is very reasonable priced. We read reviews about the potstickers so we decided to order some and WOW. Best potstickers I’ve ever had. Highly recommend them. I got the spicy chicken dupbop and my wife got the sweet beef flavor, we both liked ours.
Busy, cute place. The tofu stone bowl was fairly flavorless but the noodle rolls were good. It looked delicious.
Simple menu and the food was 11/10. I could come twice a day.
This place was great! You get a lot of food and it tastes delicious! We ordered in the store and they told us it would take about 10-20 minutes for our food to be done. The dish I ordered was “spicy”, but barely spicy so don’t worry if you can’t handle spicy food.
The Bulgogi beef was off the hook and the portions are huge. Delicious food and nice service. Really enjoyed and plan on coming back for sure! Also, maybe share with someone...
Pros: lots of food. It tastes good. They have sauces to add on if you want and a variety of hard to find drinks. Prices are fair.Cons: the restaurant can be kinda dirty sometimes but overall not that big of an issue.
Delicious! The customer service is fabulous. The lady who served us was super friendly and helpful. We asked around for what people liked as well and it seemed like the verdict was the sweet bulgogi and the bibimbop stone bowl. We got both of those and both were pretty good. Im not familiar with korean bbq do I dont know what to compare it to, but its not particularly my favorite food, but Id eat it again. The pot stickers and mango boba were both delicious! I would highly recommend trying it out yourselves tho. Great to try something you havent, and also let yourself be the judge, cuz maybe itll be one of your favorites!
Yummmmmmy! We loved Koko lunchbox! The flavors were so delicious. It was authentic and fresh. Quality meats and all ingredients were fresh. We will be back.I highly recommend the potstickers, the crispy pork cutlets donkatsu, the sweet bulgogi beef, and the sauces. ALLLL THE SAUCES!!!!
The hostess is just the most chipper person alive. You can feel her smiling through the mask. The food is some of the best Korean food Ive had around.
Best potstickers Ive ever had! Most meals are $10 ish, but you can get two or three meals out of them if you take it home for leftovers because the portions are HUGE. So its well worth the price and very tasty. Smoothies are pretty expensive though, I dont remember exactly but I think $4.50
This place is soooo good. Excellent service, amazing food, and it seems like they’ve done a great job with precautions for COVID, which is really important to us.
Very nice little Korean restaurant. Everything is what I would consider kind of catered to college students, what the Japanese would consider a 食堂 shokudo (I apologize I don’t know Korean and that’s the best I could pull together). Everything is fresh and (veryhot and all the flavors are fantastic. I had the kimchi katsu udon and the flavors were great and not too spicy, I put in some additional gochujjang. The noodles are great as well. It’s good Korean in a convenient location.
I love Kokos!! I have had their Bimbimbop and their Kimchi Fried Rice. Both were absolutely amazing, massive portions, and highly recommended. I crave the Kimchi Fried Rice all the time. If you havent been, hustle in. Super awesome people with great service and amazing food!
Best Korean food Ive had in Utah! The quantity and quality are unbeatable, the pictures dont do justice to the size of the meals. Flavors were great, environment is clean, food came out quickly.
The price is good for the quantity, the food is really tasty but the place is popular so if youre going in a large group, it might be better to reach as soon as the store opens if you dont want to wait too long for a table.PS you can ask the staff to replace the meat with tofu for any of the dishes.
The best Korean in Provo, but not in the area. I think Salt Lake has been spots, but this is a great place. The bibimbap is excellent and tastes close to the real stuff.
The meal I had was big and filled me up more than I thought. It tasted great but took a while before it was served to me. If Koko lunchbox is trying to Target the college audience, I feel like they might have a hard time because of the price.
This is the best place to taste Korean food in Provo! I’ve tried almost every menu and they were all good.Note: If you’re Korean and want some REAL korean food, I recommend you ask the chief to make your dish more spicy than usual. Then, it will be just perfect.
Food was stupendous. I liked the miso soup, and selection of sauces. Their stone bowl stays hot for a long time. (Even after you are done eating, the bowl will still be hot)The staff was friendly and very helpful to my sister when she asked about gluten-free items.I need to go back and try one of the boba shakes.
Great food in a relaxed environment. If youre looking for a classy place, this may not be your go-to, but if you are just looking for delicious food that will fill you up, then this is the place to be. The staff are courteous and friendly, as well as capable of giving detailed explanations of the no-frills menu.
They accommodated my low carb no rice request. The Spicy Pork was great. I sampled the noodles side (I didnt ask for a low carb replacement for theseand they were pretty bland. Ill definitely be back and will ask to eliminate both rice and noodles.
This is literally a hidden gem. I came here with a friend because we wanted to try something new. When we first arrived we were nicely greeted. It didnt take long after we order that our food arrived. I ordered the Stone Bowl and it was so good, but let me warn you it can be spicy! Also we order their bobas and they were also amazing. Overall I had a great experience and I will definitely be coming back.
Good portion size, delicious food (Kim chee fried rice was delicious - wish i asked for 3 eggs). Decent pricing. Hubby enjoyed his mango boba
