The deep fried oysters are pricey and very much worth it, I only got 3 but they were HUGE! Great fried mushrooms too, will definitely be back.

My go to place for pizza in Eureka. My wife and I have always enjoyed their extra large mushroom, sausage and peperoni pizza. Well, today it being Election Day 2022 I bought two extra large peperoni pizzas for the elections crew. The total was less than $50 for both pizzas. Good times!

One of my favorite restaurants in Humboldt county. Zack is so sweet and offers great recommendations. My wife and I like to get the pasta primavera and one or two other items, and were working our way through the menu. We havent had a bad bite yet. I love the pasta and the corned beef, and all the fried appetizers are great. Their breading is so crisp and delicious. The fish and chips and clam chowder are also favorites. Dont forget to ask Zack about any upcoming after-hours events too!!

Came here to see the new location and to try the burger week burger. Long wait for food on a Wednesday night. Waiter was kind enough to offer some clam chowder for our hungry baby. We tried the lucky charms pizza, we enjoyed it. The bbq sauce was on the sweet side but balanced the jalapeños well. "Da Bomb" burger tasted bland. It needed more zing like mustard, pickle or something. I felt like if they took the flavors of the pizza and put it on the burger itd be perfect. Other than than that I enjoyed the waiters quirky humor and he was very kind to us.

Excellent service. Very clean. I had an oyster shooter as an appetizer. Very fresh well garnished. I tried the fish n chips and it was delicious. I will happily return.

Went here for dinner while visiting Eureka for a few days. It was within walking distance of our motel, so we picked it out of convenience but we were pleasantly surprised.My wife had the wings and was not impressed--they were okay, just not great.I had the Steak Sandwich and thought it was good.The atmosphere was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Just expect Irish Pub-like food and youll be fine!

The food was fantastic. The service was even better. The prices are on the higher side, but worth every penny. We will go back again.

We absolutely loved our food from Gallaghers! They arent kidding when they say they have the best fish and chips in Humboldt! We also loved the pasta primavera! Very generous portions and not terribly expensive either! The staff were super friendly as well! We will definitely be coming back!!

Very comfortable Irish pub and restaurant. Zack, a server there, is the sweetest guy ever and the main reason to return. I feel like we were instant friends, and thats how a server should make you feel, like you are at home with a friend. The food is hit and miss, but the atmosphere and drinks are always on point. I love that they do a black-and-tan with Guinness and a local ale, instead of a traditional bass. They should definitely be getting more business than they currently do. Give them a go, and order the shepherds pie, extra hot.

Really cute little place, my husband got the fish and chips. I got the, I think it’s called a captains platter. My kids got the chicken strips and fries. The food was good and executed really well just kinda bland. I do wanna try it there again, maybe their dinner is better. I would recommend trying this place just don’t have super high expectations like my Irish husband did.

This was our 2nd visit. They are always busy! But the food is great and they are very gracious, even when theyre slammed they smile and do their best to get your food to you as fast as possible. Always yummy though! We will probably visit everytime I go up to visit my daughter at Humboldt.

This is the fastest, hot, fresh lunch you will get in Eureka. Im busy, I work, I have kids, dogs, a cat, a fish.. and a husband(basically another child). So when I stopped in for my lunch break on a crazy work day needing a drink and lunch, I wasnt sure if they could get me in and out and how my food and service would be. I hadnt visited them since the old location, which in all honesty had so-so service. When I came in this time, wow! Let me tell you, I was greeted immediately, got a drink in less than 2 minutes, ordered food, got a huge fresh hot meal in 15 minutes annnnd the service was awesome! Kelly and Dillon greet with names and I really liked that! So I came back, thought maybe I got lucky. Nope, second lunch and their Ruben was the best Id ever had, service was great, and I was again in and out in no time. Looks like I have a new place. Oh and the other customers are a good crowd. I chatted at the little bar with a few people, all very nice, local, and interesting. I love myself a good vibe.Thanks Gallaghers!Your New Regular-- Jessie 😀

Small and cozy...great Irish atmosphere. Had the fish, prawns, and chips...huge pieces. Cool staff.

The steamed clams were heavenly with lots of garlic and an excellent broth. My husband loved the fish and chips. I had an irish coffee too that was good. We found it cozy, clean with good service. Their new location on 101 is fun.

Delightful place, homey ambiance. Excellent service. Delicious food. Everything from the exotic pizzas, shepherds pie, fish and chips, oyster shooters, and the Alameda cocktail. Will be back to enjoy drag nightnand other special nights!

Ate at Gallagher’s for the first time tonight and I can’t recommend it enough. The atmosphere was very cozy and comfortable. Staff was clearly busy but they handled the rush well. Very friendly and welcoming. I had one of their recommended cocktails, the Jack Frost and it was delicious (probably too delicious, I almost went for a second). Followed that with the French dip and onion rings - the roast beef was so tender it basically dissolved in my mouth and the onion rings were light, crispy and perfectly seasoned. I asked my partner what he thought of the fish and chips but he was too busy eating to give me more than a grunt so I’m assuming it was pretty good. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Eureka!

Super good service, food was excellent. Definitely try the fried picked. Amazing. Also have local beers on tap. Locals restaurant. Highly recommend. Try the redwoods curtain beer. They also have some original cocktails. Everything is original and unique

I took my family there to celebrate my twin sons 21st birthday. Zak the manager and our bartender was ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!!! He treated my family like his own. He was engaging, entertaining, and sooo helpful with info. He looked up a special drink my son wanted and made it perfectly! The food was excellent! All local products and made by their staff, no canned/store stuff. My family instantly fell in love with the decor, atmosphere, amazing service, and insanely good food. We are hooked!!

Best French Dip in Humboldt! The onion rings are a sweet onion and the batter is light and perfectly fried. Enjoyed the hint of horseradish used in the coleslaw!

We were with a party of 4 and all were so satisfied! First with the service, then the selection. Our server Zack, Was so helpful and accommodating, as well as informative. The whole place was clean and inviting. Thank you for a great Meal and warm atmosphere. We all loved it!

We were traveling through with our dog. We had a 2 day stay blocks from this place. They let us bring our dog and put us in our own room. Great Service from everyone there!

Everything was awesome. Gourmet pizzas, pasta, fish and chips, Reubens and Irish bread pudding. There was something for everyone and everyone loved what they had. We had the best service from Bryan. All the staff were very nice.Highly Recommend.

In a word: Delightful.We were there on a quiet weekday afternoon and had an early dinner. My mother had the small portion of corned beef and cabbage, which she really enjoyed. I had bangers and mashed and ate way more than I usually do, it was so tasty. Cindy took great care of us and, when we were nearly done, she introduced us to the rest of the crew. These nice young people made a couple of old women feel pretty special. Next time we are looking for a yummy dinner - or maybe just their tempting bread pudding and coffee - we will be back. Im so happy we found a new "regular" place to enjoy.

Great place, tasty food, comfortable atmosphere with a nautical theme. We got there just after 12pm and the place filled up fast with the lunch crowd. I got the scallops and chips with a side salad and my husband got the French dip with Au Jus sauce, everything was fresh and very good. Next time we will save room for the Irish bread pudding

Great food. I had the bangers and mash while my wife had the salmon and chips. Both arrived at the table piping hot and tasting wonderful! Sorry no pics; we ate it all too fast 😋

We got seated right away.They have a lounge in the back with games and comfy couches. The food was good. What made it even better was our awesome server Brian P. He was super friendly and accommodating. Thanks for making our night a really nice one!

We had a wonderful dinner of Shepard’s pie and salmon. Our service was excellent. They were kind enough to give us some great travel destinations also. Recommend them to anyone in the area.

I had the halibut fish and chips here and the halibut was excellent. The fish was fresh and the batter was light with great seasoning. I highly recommend. The service was fast. I also recommend one of their coffee drinks for after dinner. I had the Blizzard and it was excellent. I will return when I am in the area.

Very helpful friendly staff. More than just an Irish bar. I havent had fried mushrooms that good in a long time (not the greasy little things only edible with ranchand my fish was good as well. Girlfriend enjoyed her German sausage sampler as well, like I said more than just Irish.Our server made some original honey mustard from scratch for me as wellOnly complaint is that they need to start selling the beers they have signs for. My girlfriend got all excited over one of the Irish beers they were advertising to find out they only use it to cook with

I had fish and chips the sockeye salmon. And they did not skimp on the fish. My wife had chicken salad and she loved it. We started out with onion rings and they were very good.We will definitely go back there with friends for dinner some night. Nice layout, Good service, Great food!

Food was excellent came out really fast the only thing I will say wait staff doesn’t seem that enthused but hey it’s an Irish pub and it felt like one I really recommend this place the best fish and chips up easily ever had

I am SO HAPPY that we went to Gallaghers Irish Pub (at its new location!for one of the best lunches we have had in well over two years -- really! My husband and I wanted to enjoy some delicious fried fish for lunch yesterday, and we picked the right restaurant for that! I remember how good the fish was at Gallaghers Irish Pub before the pandemic started. Well ... my memory definitely served me correctly! I had the fish & chips (and I agree with what the menu states: They are the "Best in town!"), and my husband had the captains platter. Everything was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. They gave us so much food, and the prices were reasonable for such high quality cooking. We absolutely loved how they changed the decor to a "nautical" theme. The service was impeccable. We are SO VERY HAPPY that we were treated so well at Gallaghers Irish Pub. My husband and I have already planned when we will go there for dinner next week! Thank you, Gallaghers Irish Pub! We love your new location and the quality of your food!

What a cute little place to take Grandma to lunch, and good-sized portions! My kids loved the fish & chips. Both Grandma and my husband got (& lovedthe reuben sandwich. My Shepherds Pie was very tasty! The calamari was GONE!. Excellent service! Will come back when we come to see Grandma.

Service was great. Food was delicious. They ran out of fries, but I wasnt too worried about it. I tried the oyster shot and was very impressed.

This place was exceptional! My father ordered the fish And chips I ordered the shrimp and chips The waiter satis down quickly and took our orders right away the food came out fresh and hot and delicious I would highly recommend this place to anybody looking for a place to get a good by deed and a nice drink

Got of fish and chips for takeout. I was very unimpressed. Almost all of my french fries were green the fish appeared to still have the skin on it. The skin made the fish rubbery and nearly inedible. The fish was crispy, dont get me wrong, but the texture was ruined because of the skin. The coleslaw also tasted funky, kinda rancid. Fingers crossed no illness occurs post meal. Two star for the service.

Fast friendly service. Food arrived hot and was delicious. Lots of flavor in the food. Clam chowder was creamy and the right consistency. Halibut and chips was the special. The breading had excellent flavors.

For my first time eating here it was very pleasing,i wasn’t sure what to order,so i went with something simple an didn’t want regular fish n chips,so i ordered sockeye salmon an chips,the chunks were really chunky an not small portioned...My girl ordered the Fish Fry combo with onion rings. The pieces were really well battered an full of flavor...

Astoundingly GREAT service and fresh and beautifully prepared food. This is COMFORT FOOT at its best--large portions, plenty of "homemade" touches, and a consistently fantastic pour for beer and cocktails. JUST GO HERE. You wont regret it.

Pretty damn good all around. Atmosphere is spot on! People are very friendly, food was great, beer was Golden. Perfect place for St. Pattis day, and great place to go normally. Ill be back. Thanks guys.
