10/14/22 10:30amI asked the short stocky deli girl what time the deli counter opens she replied "It doesnt. Everything you need is there" she points to the bare pre-sliced lunch meat area. I said "so if I need something behind this counter (pointing to ham that I neededI cant get it?" she replied " NOPE there are only 2 of us" What POOR POOR service!!!!! BYE Kroger in Washington twp YOU SUCK!!!!!!!
I hate self checkout whenever possible I avoid it. I feel like something always goes wrong I always have to ask for help with something and I usually get a disgruntled employee who acts like I am such a nuisance. But today while shopping at Kroger I was lucky enough to be helped by Jeremy. Jeremy was not only pleasant but worked quickly, efficiently, and patiently he went out of his way to teach me what I was doing wrong so that I did not make the same mistake in the future. Thank you Jeremy for your help. People like you make a difference in how somebodys day goes.
The cashiers are always friendly and fast. Don is awesome and Kayla is a great problem solver. Keep up the great work Kroger Staff!
Everything is 99% perfect except DONT BUY FISH THERE! Last item I grabbed, check out was quick and was home in less than 7 minutes of driving. Starting getting to prep right away and I opened it up and I almost threw up it smelt so bad. Worst part was that its “sell by” date was over a week and a half from today.
Great and clean store
The heavy set manager is not helpful & the claw machine stole my $
I went to get groceries & flowers on Tues 8th didnt have alot of what I wanted & the lady helped me out made it work .. went back wed 9th the same lady was there got more flowers so nice & helpful , this was around 3 or 4 pm . She helped me so much & I told her thank you for doing that .. It was a very good experience I love Kroger flowers 🌹🌹
Just gonna say it Linda on self checkout was a mega B**** to all customers. Didnt check my ID, just cleared me for my alcohol, and Im to young to just guess my age. Was barley Willing to walk over to anyone to help them.Normal this Kroger is pretty good but Lindas gotta go.
Kind of annoying parking lot because it seems cramped but overall decent kroger.
Christmas Eve 3 lanes open chuck full of customers and the girl shut down the self serve at 4:40. No excuse for this .
Great produce selection. Store is clean and well maintained.
Employees are always very nice and helpful, but I feel like the store is understaffed. No shopping carts available and had to wait to get help at checkout.
Corn on the cob, packaged, was AWFUL. Took it out of the plastic and cooked it. Tasted almost like it was old to the point of fermenting. Wheres your "fresh detective"?!?!
Cleanest kroger store! Very clean and well stocked
The absolute worse grocery store I have been too , poor management the staff are rude they sell produce that I WOULD NOT sell to anybody , unbelievable that this is a Major Grocer
NO MASKS ON ABOUT 1/4 OF THE PEOPLE IN THIS STORE. There was a shopper coughing and hacking all over the fresh produce...also no mask. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?!
I visited Kroger a few days ago to buy some food, Im on a pretty strict diet so I dont like to go to fast food restaurants for food Kroger seems to have everything for a healthy lifestyle. A few things I noticed: 1. There was a very friendly atmosphere (no dirty looks2. They were rearranging there aisles to make more room for product very sensible working in retail I understand this and acknowledge that times like that can be frustrating for the staff, I did not notice any frustration. 3. I was simply looking for bacon pieces for my salad I asked a women for help and what you would expect is for someone to say "yea just head to the dressings" THAT IS NOT WHAT HAPPENED, Instead this wonderful women took the time to walk me over and help me locate it, thats world class customer service at its finest, its like when you walk in to an expensive clothing store and they offer you a bottle of Avion while you make your purchase, its unexpected but very pleasant 4. I spilled some juice from the shrimp I was purchasing on the counter at the self checkout, lots of cashiers or anyone watching the self checkouts would have should some frustration in front of customers making them feel bad, he did not do that he kindly helped me scan my item and even immediately wiped the register for me, said dont worry these things happen all the time. I was very impressed all around and would definitely always pick Kroger. keep up the great work.
A little dirtier than krogers in Imlay city. Also much more crowded. Clientele doesnt observe one-way aisles.
I like our Romeo-Washington Kroger. They always have the best and freshest organic spinach. Its not do large that one is wandering around endlessly looking for a particular item.
Today I had a horrible experience. The cake was upside down in the box and the heart shaped cookie box was open and spilled all over the cart! Absolutely horrible.
Just terrible today. Bottle returns not working, cranky staff, one person working the deli, empty shelves. Ill go to Meijer. Or I heard the Kroger on 26 mile is pretty good.
I dont usually complain about my service but the baggers I had were terrible. They single bag really heavy stuff together and double-bagged light stuff the bags were either really heavy or super light. When I went to take them out of the car they dont all over the place because they ripped and it was pouring outside and muddy. also when I was shopping I went to buy a lot of fresh vegetables for the week and they had a very light selection.
Have a very nice shopping day.The cashier and bagger were both so friendly, helpful and did just a great job.My cashier was Kathy I dont know the young mans name but they were awesome.Always enjoy your store.30 mile rd store in Romeo Mi.Thank you.
Sharon was an absolute Angel. And Jeremy really help me save 2.5o on my milk purchase. I got the kroger brand instead of the name brand i cannot say. . Thankyou and the store is very CLEAN.
Yesterday I went to Kroger Pharmacy to pick up my daughters prescriptions. The Pharmacists there are always so h helpful and friendly. The store is always clean and organized.
Very good place to shop! Very clean store. Lots of reasonable prices! Fresh fruit and vegetables fresh meats , seafood, bakery and deli. Even sushi if you like that too!
Poor choice of vegan foods and the few they have all have "Canola Oil" which is "cheap" and very unhealthy. Yes, do your research in Canola Oil which was invented in a Canadian laboratory and mixed with Rapeseed. There us no such thing as a Canola plant or Nut, these companies use it because it is cheap but worst of all they advertise it as a healthy oil. Like I said, do your own research. Food can be your medicine or your poison.
The store is always busy. Small as Kroger stores go. Not the greatest place to shop. Not unpleasant either. Prices are higher than necessary. Staff are fairly friendly. Unlike the Richmond store where staff are outright misserable.
Great gas prices! 24 cents less per gallon than the Marathon near my house. Im marking this gas station!
I have been going to this location for many years and their customer service has always been the best around. Both in the store and in the pharmacy. The pharmacy staff is always so understanding and compassionate. I have a very severe chronic condition that causes a great amount of pain and I usually feel judged when walking into a pharmacy because of my age, but they are always so polite and talk to me like a human being.About a week ago, my car battery died in their parking lot and I needed a jump. Not only did this nice young man offer to use his car to jump mine, but he stayed with me outside until my car was started, which did take way longer than I expected. He was very patient and very polite the entire time. I wish I got his name so he could get the praise for his above and beyond customer service. This staff is by far my best experience in a Kroger store.
I don’t shop at this Kroger because it always feel dirty to me. I never felt compelled to write a review until today when I needed to use the bathroom here. It was nasty!!! There’s toilet paper all over the floor, one of the hand soap dispensers is broken and laying on the counter, there’s no toilet paper in the majority of the stalls, and there’s no paper towel in the dispenser. Not to mention the numerous signs all over the place, including the door to the bathroom and inside every stall saying they’re hiring. Like we can’t tell they need help. If you’re that desperate for help and the store is that nasty maybe corporate needs to figure out what the problem is.
Really like this Kroger and the deals they were offering on items I wanted, has a nice clean, well-kept sales floor and staff ready to assist when needed. Did some health assessment machine there too, which was pretty cool. Grateful for my experience with this store!
This place is the dirtiest grocery store I have been in the smell when you walk in the door says it all went to the meat counter and had wait for the employee to empty the trash first and then they sliced my meat without washing there hands broken glass on floor and dirt everywhere old almost expired groceries and rude employees put my meat in a garbage can and left without getting what I needed went to the store 4 miles down the road and night and day difference
The only nice employee Ive encountered is Chris one of the managers. Very helpful and polite. Everyone else has an attitude. The woman Connie (who watches over self checkoutis very rude, for no apparent reason at all. She needed to check my ID and gave me so much attitude for no reason and then she thought she heard me say something (when I didnt loland she said "ummm what was that?!" Settle down girl. No reason to get all upset.
I love shopping at this kroger. Everything is where you would expect it to be. The deli counter people are awesome. The cashiers are always friendly and personable....
I love this Kroger. Always friendly and fast lines. The selection is a tad smaller than some larger stores but I kind of like that. Makes it easier. Also they still have the natural section separate which I personally prefer, makes it easier to find all the stuff I like.
Every where I went the employees were willing to help. From Megan at customer service desk to man on floor who helped me carry something to young man to took my groceries to car and unloaded cart for me.
I can find almost everything I need for my weekly grocery shopping here. I’m usually in and out in under 30 minutes including my trip to the deli for lunch meat. There are a few items that I shop elsewhere for like my apples that I buy down the street from Verellen Orchards, some meat from the Smoke House, and Sams Club where I buy all of our bulk goods. The pharmacist here is great and all the staff is very nice and helpful. There prices are reasonable and it’s not an overwhelming visit.
Let’s not talk about why the Almond Milk is all the way across building. We don’t have to mention the horrible customer service. Nope I’m here to talk about something far more aggravating then that. Who the heck do I have to sleep with to get some skinless Tyson chicken breast. It’s ALWAYS sold out. Restock the shelves! Everytime I’m here the guys working the meat department look like creeps just staring at people not saying or doing anything.
Yea, you people gave me a $5.00 off on my next purchase of over $50.00 coupon. Im unable to use it due to I have no computer. Went to your costumer service, and ask for help. They said they couldnt help.YOU SUCK!
I went to this Kroger‘s to get some Apples, and they wanted $2.50 a lb for some dirty small and old looking apples ,trash status to me,their prepared food is over priced and old looking also,So I left there and I went to Vincent Joe’s down the street, they have way better quality and better prices, their prepared food is really good ,and made fresh,I used to go to this Kroger all the time, but I’m no longer shopping for groceries there, they lost a frequent customer, they have gone down hill since they opened,I will be going to Vincent Joe’s from now on... very disappointed
I wish I could give this kroger a half star. Its disgusting and the people who work there are MONSTERS! They talk behind your back as a customer, I always hear them talk about people who were in line and complaining . this place sucks donkey dick. Go to meijer
Shop here often, pretty typical experience in terms of Krogers. Staff is typically nice.
Kroger is a fantastic store. Its provides all of the family essentials. The location in Washington Twp (Michiganhas been there a long time. It use the Old Farmer Jack. It has been updted. I wish it was a Super Center, but its really close and I enjoy it. Hey, whos not gonna like fuel points.
This is a great Kroger. Everyone is very helpful and the vegetables and fruits always fresh. They also have great ground veal, lamb and bison.
Rude team members who dislike to help customers. The only time staff is on their A game is when you see Kroger leadership visiting the store in their suits and ties. Always issues at their self checkout robots. Their bakery is good and the deli people work their butts off. I hope this place closes once the super Kroger opens. Most grocery items are over priced and their meat quality stinks. Id rather drive an extra 10 minutes to Meijer
This is my go-to local grocery store. They were renovated some years back, and although the store is prettier, it is a little lacking on extras. Meaning: everything is a Kroger brand not necessarily popular national brands. So although you can find at least one of anything you may be looking for, it may not be your preferred brand nor ingredients, so youll have to shop somewhere else also. For several years they didnt even carry tofu anymore! I guess the corporate big wigs figured people living this far outside the city dont eat anything that fancy. Eventually, they must have gotten enough requests because its there now, along with a smallish selection of organic and gourmet foods. The produce is sometimes from Michigan, which I appreciate. I also buy ground bison here and Towne Club pop, which is great! The staff are wonderful, very friendly, some have been here for years, and know us by name. They work hard too, and even try to accommodate any special requests, if corporate lets them.Id rather shop here than elsewhere; I only wish I could get everything I need. Maybe if they moved into a larger location, because they sure do try hard now to carry a little bit of everything. Id just like to see a healthier selection sometimes. Its as if no one at corporate bothers to see if the shelf choices are the best ones available. Thats not the local staffs fault though, and they do take suggestions and special orders. When you come, try to shop here at off times because they are definitely the most popular grocery store in the area and there can be lines sometimes, even when every cashier is working as fast as they can. Come to think of it, its much, much better than other grocery stores though, so I guess Kroger staff has spoiled me!
Not my favorite Kroger. I shop here when its convenient. The store always seems to be so crowded with merchandise.
Nice grocery store, well laid out. They could have used one more cashier but the wait wasnt too bad.
I love Kroger, everything is great here and their organic choices are so abundant! Their signs are clear and you can catch some pretty great deals from them.
