Kroger Pharmacy in Greenup County

I cant find a damn thing in the Portsmouth store for some reason.-It took me about a hour to find some Bob Evans sausages, because its on the complete opposite side of the store. It should be in the breakfast frozen foods, but its actually in a cooler beside the cakes for some ungodly reason.-I still cant find breakfast gravy after multiple visits.-Skyline Chili was in the pasta section and not in the Soup, or Chili section where it would make sense.-They havent restocked the Hot Wheels cars for 3 or 4 cases.-Theyve moved the bread, so no idea where that is now.Its just a lot of small annoying things. The truth is, everything you need is somewhere, you just dont know where...

Great on Deliveries

After my doctors appointment this morning around 11a.m. I was told to wait an hour or two to pick up my prescription. Which is typical, so I took my time and called the pharmacy before leaving the house a little after 1 p.m. Two hours later...as I was told to do. I asked Austin on the phone if my prescription is ready. He informed me it was not, a little irritated, I asked when it should be ready. He told me "about an hour". I tried to inquire what the prices might be and was told " I dont know off the top of my head." Which in my option should have been, "Im not sure but let me see if I can find out for you." Now I understand if it was something he did not have access to...but it came across as, "I dont know and Im not going to find out for you." I didnt get upset at this point just a little irritated. Soooo I went to town two and half hours later, I was expecting the prescription to be ready without a doubt. NOPE! Austin greeted me now at the store (the same person who told me on the phone that it would be ready in "about an hour"). I give him my name and information only to be told it is still not ready! He offered to go back and count them now... I am just mind blown that something as simple as two prescriptions took literally all day to fill. Ive been in retail I understand if something is going to but longer than expected. But dont quote the customer a time frame you are clearly not prepared to meet. "Under promise and over deliver." Pretty basic stuff. Unfortunately I was not told sorry once at all, even after I got visibly irritated/upset. I would understand if I did not communicate after my appointment or did not give the pharmacy pleantly of time. But I did, PLENTY of time was given. I cant say that I will be using Kroger for my pharmacy needs. Very disappointed. If you are looking for somewhere to get prescriptions filled in a timely manner, avoid this place!

Every time I go to pick up a prescription I usually get waited on right away. The staff are very friendly. I always get good results. Love them very much.
