La Superior Mercados in Yolo County

I love this store. It’s always my first stop. Great produce and very friendly staff. Love the music they play in the store as well. Well worth your stop.

Good selection of cheeses/hams. Don’t buy anything from the meat section. The carnicería is always a mess, the pork/beef is gray from sitting out too long, and when It is fresh it goes bad super quick. Theres a butcher in there that has put the incorrect sku for the product I‘ve requested numerous times. Example: I got several lbs of the smaller shrimp, the label was for the more expensive larger shrimp. It’s happened on too many occasions for it to be a coincidence. I had a conversation with a former employer who confirmed that that employee was know for being careless. Milk has been rancid several times. They have an okay bakery. Their other location on Kentucky also has old meat sitting out on display too.

Very authentic but the customer service window is terrible. The employees ignore you like you don’t matter. I have walked out three different times due to waiting so long. I won’t be back.

Señorita cahri una recomendación con us chica de la cocina 750 pm ya no vende que porque le dejan mucho trabajo en la cocina le pedí frijoles aunque sea fríos ni así me los vendió dijo ay pues agale como quiera mal servicio !

If I could I would rate this ZERO stars. Went to buy cheese like 4 days ago. Didn’t bother to open it, till today and the thing was sour.. it was obviously bad and had been refrigerated in my house. I went to try to return it or exchange it and the young lady at the counter had a really bad attitude and said she wouldn’t do a thing about it because it had been too many days.. it’s not the fact that the cheese it’s bad or that she didn’t want to exchange it it’s the attitude of the employee what frustrated me. Will be taking my business else where.

Que horror de servicio deja mucho que desear sus empleados sino quieren trabajar que se queden a dormir en su casa no se porque le arruinan el día a alguien que va hacerles el sueldo buena tienda para contratar gente tan falta de respeto, me atendieron con comentarios tan groseros y estoy muy molesta ya que las cajeras burlandose de una persona mayor que fue a dar la vuelta al estar la puerta cerrada.

Very bad and old food . We ordered cake for birthday smell bad and test nasty.

Rude employees, and I just went to buy some meat as I was in a rush- worst decision ever! Nasty old meat re tainted in blood to look fresh!

En general la tienda es un poco buena. la mercancia aveces no es la mas fresca. los empleados ni atienden biem.

Clean well stocked. Fresh produce and many native Mexican product choices. Ample parking.

Rude and bad customer service. I was ignored 3 times at the hot foods area and their raw meats were gray. Wont be coming back.

I was in Woodland last week & stopped by La Superior for the 1st time & was pleasantly surprised. They have a great selection of meats & cheese (and lots of other items). I was commenting about the great prices for meat to another person who gave me all info on the differences and tips on the Bakery as well. (I found out later that he was the Manager Jose M). He & all the employees were very friendly, quick to respond and courteous - & the carne al pastor was amazing! I will definately be back.

Worst place to buy tickets, don’t buy them from here. If a baile gets cancelled they refuse to give you your money back.

Worst place to buy Baile tickets, if the events get cancelled they do not give you your money back and make up a lot of excuses! For example they blame it on the ones pronouncing the events yet they’re the ones selling the tickets ,which makes them responsible to return the money. They also tried telling me to go to other stores saying they will give the my refund, and as soon as I go to the other store I am told that “it is not their responsibility because they didn’t sale those tickets to me “ which I strongly agree! Why would another store give me the refund if they didn’t sale them to me. Really disappointed on how this works . I highly recommend not buying any tickets unless you’re sure the events won’t get cancelled, and if it does good luck getting your money back.

Nice produce. A wide variety of meats and to go food. Big store with all kinds of Mexican food.

Los carniceros no saben respetar a sus clientes. Me dieron la peor carne, aunque yo le señalé la mejor parte del pedazo de carne. Cuando le reclame me respondió “así como va vendemos.” Que lastima.

Not a bad place to find Hispanic products. Food in the restaurant is good. Meat sometimes can be a hit or miss but it is getting better when it comes to quality and serves. Store has a bad rep of selling bad meat but I can attest that its improving. Overall it has potential.
