Lakeside Jr High School in Clay County

I go here and from a students pov this place is moderate and some of the teachers blatantly say that they dont care as long as there getting paid and some others imply it, but all in all I personally would recommend this school.

One great school love the teachers there one only thing that is not good I that sometimes it smells bad out side but other than that I great from 2018 now I junior high

Lakeside Jr High is a great school with a fantastic band teacher in Mr Boyer!However, please do not body shame busty young girls! These poor kids bodys are growing faster than they can mature; if you put a t-shirt over the big breasted girl wearing the same dress as a skinny girl - you are shaming her for having breasts.It is no different than the men who put burkas on women. STOP hurting young teen girls over their bodies![We now have a professional as superintendent who knows how to interact with diverse families]

Some of the teachers are really cool like mrs.bumpers and mr.allison. Its not a bad school and theres not a lot of bullying. I wouldnt give five stars because of some dress code problems. If you are dress coded you are told to put on your gym shorts but some teachers dress code you again for having them. Otherwise this school is not bad and its super friendly. (DONT TRY TO SKIP ACTIVITY DAY BECAUSE YOU WILL GET CAUGHT. I learned from expirence.I went my 8th grade year and some teachers are really understanding and wants whats best for you.

the place here is so nice the gym people are amazing.they treat you good and respect you with kindness.

I am a 7th graders I love it here so much the band is amazing there are lots of friends to meet its a great school I love it even though Im not a gator fan but if our football or any type of sport I will give my spirt to them its my school so cheer on!!!!!!😛 best electives ever like home ed and business keyboards and drama.🤓🤓🤓

I love this school,the teachers are so nice. The band program is the best Ive ever seen. The teachers work with the students one on one to help u understand better the materials u are learning about. This is one of the top schools that I recomend. I have gone to 5 schools so far and this one is the best yet.i also love how students at the junior high can volunteer at the elementary to better learn responsibility.

I like it I moved from orange park junior high to lake side and it is ten times better of a school

I really dislike this school. We moved from Wilkinson to Lakeside and while some of the teachers are good, the school as a whole, is not one I would recommend. The staff is never informed, FCAT testing results are not readily available, the lack of communication is ridiculous , no one ever answers the phone and I have encountered some of the rudest staff here. I cannot wait to get my kids out of this school and go back to wilkinson! They have a filet mignon attitude in a burger king neighborhood.

the school was always messy and never cleaned.... the students were just horrible with no discipline at all. The teachers were fairly alright some were good and very nice to the students. while the others treated the students like garbage and no respect. Especially the physical education teacher Ms.Vandewater. she treated all the students with no respect and did not do her job well at all. the school would have a better experience without her.

I was a special needs student here and they treated me and all of the other kids VERY good. They let me work with children with mental disabilities as well and it was SO rewarding. All of the teachers were very nice as well. The staff was friendly, and everybody seemed to get along well. Not very many bad things happed too. I would recommend this school to my friends. My experience here was awesome!
