The food was really good, the person serving me was really nice and patient. I would love to see the return of Lams Special Steak to the menu though.

Got a small fried rice when I ordered a large fried rice! In which was precooked sitting in the counter warmer and was cold, and then I got home to discover that I was charge $13.50….. never going back. This place doesn’t deserve one star ⭐️

Food was horrible couldn’t eat it poorly cooked satay tasted nothing like satay mongolian beef was uneditable not returning

I ordered over the phone and to start off with the young girl has no customer skills then I pick up the food and got the fried rice, beef satay and sweet and sour pork and what a disgusting meal it was. Frozen vegetables were the mixed home brand ones with potato cubes in it and the sweet and sour pork was flavourless and tasted like water and the satay beef was like a peanut thickened water sauce it tasted like water also extremely disappointed will never eat here again. What a waste of $45 🙄

Love love love the Singapore noodles with a little chilli added for a bit of spice and the fried rice and honey chicken are also to die for oooooo and the satay beef cant forget that little beauty either. Thanks Lams noodle bar for great food every time

Okay food..But if it says online they are open I can almost guarantee they arent open!The last 6 times I have been there during their advertised hours they have either not been there or they tell me they arent open!Must not like money.

Food tastes ok but not what I expected. Pad Thai did not taste like pad Thai, had big chunks of cauliflower and crinkle cut carrots. Singapore noodles was made with Hoiken noodles taste completely different to Singapore noodles was very disappointing

Now these people are a small family.owed business, and as far as Im concerned they top all the Asian restaurants around here in the south hands down,Theyre dishes are packed with flavour and the servings are very generous I must say.Dont look past Lams Noodle Bar.Give them a try, you wont be disappointed

Pretty good food, yes if does vary from time to time in freshness. However the owner is lovely and good with kids, and its very local for us.

I ordered the Seafood Laksa, hurried home hungry, removed the lid and noticed right away there was no strong fragrance typical of this dish. I was confronted with large trees of broccoli, large sliced carrots, Chinese corn floating in a thick soup of hokkien noodles. At first sight and smell this is not my idea of a Laksa but OK, Im hungry, Ill eat it, now where is the seafood? I push the vegetables aside looking for the seafood. I manage to find some, a single prawn, 2 meagre mussels and several strips of white rubbery squid but not a single piece of fresh fish in sight. Instead, adding to my disappointment, I sight Seafood Extender, and not just a piece or two, lots of it! Great chunks of flubby tasteless red stripe Seafood Highlighter. My $20 Seafood Laksa dish consists of, random stir fry vegetables, 4 frozen seafood pieces, thick greasy hokkien noodles with a cup of Imitation Seafood, whipped up in a flavourless soup. Yes, it is devoid of rich spicy curry flavours! It has spice but its flavourless. This is as bad as it gets for this dish!Sure Lams Noodle Bar is only a very Ho Hum sort of joint, and is never going to be blessed with much merit or distinction but using actual fresh seafood will go a long way toward satisfying customers. Instead of adding polverised processed, cheap imitation seafood to a seafood dish how about using real fish, heck some seafood Marinara from Woolworths over the road will be a vast improvement! Otherwise, just call this dish what it is, Overpriced Seafood Extender Vegetable Stir-fry Noodle Soup

I love it when they make a mistake with your order but blame you for it.I clearly asked no vegetables with my satay noodles about 3 times, then it comes out with veg in it.. Im not fussed about the mistake, it happens when you are very busy, but to blame me then stare and whisper saying I stuffed up is bloody pathetic..

The best Noodle /Asian takeaway. Ive been a custome for years now and they honestly make the best tasting food across the entire menu, bar none. You cant get Honey chicken this good anywhere. Thanks Lam and family.

Not a happy experience. On Friday evening instead of my order Singapore Noodles (confirmed with the young woman at the tillI got Hokkien Noodles a big difference in flavour profile. The Salt & Pepper Squid was mostly inedible, very oily and loads of hard batter with very little squid. Plus I got charged $5 more than was evident from the menus here. I would have taken it in my stride had the food been good. This is the only negative review I have written - I dont like to do it but I feel I must warn potential patrons to be careful!

Reached a little after 8 on a Monday (when they close but Google said otherwise)....they could have turned us away but they accommodated because there were hungry tummies. Stuffed up two out of three meals, one they gave us beef in a chicken satay. The satay sauce wasnt peanut flavoured in the least..When we called they basically said Too bad, dont order it again.Oh, and it was a quiet Sunday night, not a busy weekend service.Dont bother. .

Customer service good,but sadly food is under every expectation. Ordered lemon battered chicken,came with tip sauce what was like dessert and really sticky.Ordered garlic seasoned chicken, there was no garlic , barely had few pits of chicken in it and it cost 13,5 $ . U can have 1,5 kilos of chicken at shop and make ur own better dish than u get there. Lastly those burned vegie noodles were not so great either. My suggestion is that u rather spend ur bucks else where.

Unfortunately we wont be going back to this place, the dim sims were great but the rest of our order was a complete let down, We had sweet and sour pork and it was like the meat was packet frozen, and the sauce was pre bought sauce like masterfoods ss. the spring rolls also tasted like they were pre bought as well. I didnt think people bought frozen goods anymore. Hopefully i am wrong and I just had a bad batch.

The food is excellent for the price, some favorites Ive had are: special fried rice, Mongolian beef, spring rolls & chicken chop suey. I hope their prices dont change, as this is the best & most affordable Asian takeaway Ive found in Adelaide.
