The ladies at lasting Impressions were so helpful and kind! Loretta pulled the dress of my dreams for me(one I would have not pulled myself)…She also was so helpful getting the bridesmaids dresses ordered in a pinch considering I came to her with 5 months to a wedding date! They all delivered and met beyond any expectations I could have had to make the experience easy, and fun. I would recommend this company to anyone. Beautiful selection of gowns for all!

From the moment you walk in, everyone there was attentive and open to what you wanted. They planned for your visit and made you feel special! This bridal boutique had a great variety of dress styles and sizes to try on. The consultants listened to what I liked and didnt love and we were able to find the perfect dress for me. After finding the dress, they were very thoughtful and intuitive in finding a beautiful veil to go with the dress. They were patient, personable, and there was plenty of room to maneuver around! I tried several places before here and just wasn’t happy enough with any of the dresses. Some places were very pushy on making a decision but I didn’t experience that a single time at lasting impressions. Lasting impressions has so many beautiful dresses and more variety than most places I have been. lasting impressions also has dresses for most sizes I am plus size myself and was worried about being confident in my dress but I am so ecstatic with the dress I chose. I am so happy with the women who helped me find my dress she was very helpful in the dressing room. All the ladies I talked to their were so nice and I did find my dream dress here. 😊 Thank you so much ladies at lasting impressions if you haven’t found your dream dress you should go check them out. I am only worried about the altering as I would be with any place but I have a feeling that the ladies will do great.

The ladies in this boutique were super helpful during the selling process. Don’t be fooled though...after that, the help stopped....dress bought and paid for. Then I paid another $95.00 to have it altered (length and tightened a little). I picked it up and it was very wrinkled and didn’t look so great. I called back and they were going to charge me another $15.00 just to steam it. In my opinion, if you spend OVER $400 on a dress, it should be wearable when you pick it up. I was SO disappointed when I saw my beautiful gown and how horrible it looked.I needed 2 more formal gowns for other events so I went down to Dawn’s Bridal, also in Lexington. What a wonderful experience that was. They took care of everything and were super sweet. I ended up getting 2 beautiful gowns at Dawn’s for the price of one at Lasting Impressions and it was a better experience.

Loretta was wonderful. She brought my ideas of my wedding dress to life and was incredibly helpful! Not only did we leave with my dress, but we had a blast finding it!

I’ve had 2 WONDERFUL experiences here at lasting Impressions. They’ve catered and worked around all my crazy scheduling and answers all the random questions I throw at them. They have a HUGE amount of dresses that would fit any theme/style you’re looking for. I’ve ordered my wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses from here. They’re an hour and a half away from me and I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else! Mrs. Candice had been so helpful in every appointment letting me change things 100 times until I’m 100% happy with it. Mrs. Loretta answers the phone and while we haven’t met in person, I feel like she knows me and exactly what I’m looking for and has the answers before I get the question out. They’ve both been so helpful and I can only imagine the rest of the staff here follows. I can’t recommend this place enough, if you’re getting married, this should be your first stop and I can guarantee it’ll be your last!! 100/100!

Love this bridal boutique. They are so intune with the bride or just anyone looking for that perfect dress. They literally spent 3 hours working with us for my soon to be daughter in law to find her perfect wedding dress. They have also helped us with her Marine Corp Ballgown and also helping us with her bridal parties dresses for wedding. Would highly recommend them. I had never shopped for a wedding dress before, and I was honestly wary of the experience. I’m not the kind of person who wears formal dresses, and I didn’t know exactly what I wanted.I got kind and professional help, I felt listened to, and I found my dress on my very first visit!!! I could not recommend this shop enough for their courteous staff and wonderful service.

I am so pleased with my experience from booking my apt to purchasing my wedding dress. Loretta made me feel so comfortable and was very helpful. I appreciate that she was not pushy although it was at the end of her work day. When it came time to pick up my dress after ordering, I was once again pleased with the customer service Loretta provided as I tried on my dress and asked for prices for other items to purchase.

Candice and her staff were absolutely amazing! I have known Candice for several years and dress shopping with her has been something I have waited a long time to do. I visited Lasting Impressions on a recommendation from a friend and I’m so glad I went! Loretta worked with me to find “my dress” after I explained that I was looking for a particular dress which I quickly found was not for me. After trying on multiple dresses and almost getting defeated, Loretta brought a dress to me and after trying it on I knew immediately that it was mine! The manager at Lasting Impressions took amazing care of me. My mom and sister flew in to go wedding dress shopping with me and Candice was wonderful. She listened to everything I said I liked and didn’t from the other gowns I’d tried on. She explained the different types of fabrics, what could be done to adjust the gowns, everything. She helped me find my dress and I cannot wait to walk down the aisle and see my soon-to-be husband’s face!!

I had such an amazing experience at Lasting Impressions. My mom & MOH came with me but were both late getting there & not once did anyone complain that my appointment was getting pushed back for them not being there on time.I found my perfect dress & even put it on multiple times to make sure it was my dress. No other dress compared.My MOH had her 4 year old son & no once was he asked to leave or be quiet. Although he was pretty well behaved. I tried on multiple dresses & was not expecting to find my dress that day! However, when I found it, there was only one thing that mattered. That dress!!Thank you ladies @ Lasting Impressions! My wedding cant get here fast enough.

First time here. I didnt know Lexington had such a hidden gem! Lots of class and beautiful dresses! Loretta was my associate and she was very kind, helpful, and professional! If my dress is able to come in as expected, I will truly recommend! Nevertheless, any bride-to-be should definitely stop in!

Avoid at all costs! This is a long review but it needs to be read by any bride thinking of getting your dress here!I did not have any problems finding my dress here but I had lots of issues once I found the one. When deciding the length of the dress, the consultant (managerhelping me used her hands as a measuring guide to figure out what length I would need. She was very confusing while explaining this and I specifically remembered saying to give me the extra length because I will have a heel for my shoes. We put down the deposit, signed the papers and the dress was ordered. When my dress arrived, I knew something was off as I was putting it on. I shrugged it off thinking the dressing room was just too small. As I was walking out I dropped the front part of my dress and immediately saw my feet. The consultant fluffed out my dress for everyone to see and we noticed the problem. The dress was several inches too short (at leastand you could clearly see my feet and ankles, with no shoes on. After the manager was called down, she repeatedly made it out to be my fault claiming that I told her I would be wearing flats. IN NO CASE DID THIS HAPPEN I ALREADY HAD MY SHOES (Even if I was wearing flats, the dress was still way too short.Their solution to fix the problem was to stretch the dress with curtain weights. This could only be done to the outer layers of lace, but not the inner thicker layer. After a month of stretching, the outside layers were touching the ground, but there was an obvious gap that was clearly visible between the layers. When I brought the dress home, I also noticed some of the lace appliqués were fraying and 2 buttons were barely hanging by a thread. The store did fix these free of charge after we brought it to their attention, however it did not make up for the other issues we experienced.All of this goes to say, what was supposed to be a happy and fun experience turned into a complete nightmare. I even began to hate my dress because of how awful it looked. I could no longer wear the heels I had bought months back. Mistakes happen and I understand that. But this is not just a regular store, this is a bridal store that girls dream of visiting for years and finding the one dress. Never should a store make false claims to cover up their mistakes, which will be their response to this review as it has been their response in other reviews. I expected better quality service from a bridal salon. Customer service and general caring for your customers goes a long way, but you will not find that here. I chose to shop local, even after finding the same dress at another store. The manager had the worse service of the 3 ladies I dealt with. Mrs. Loretta was by far the nicest lady I met there and I hate that my experience was ruined by the other individuals.

I bought my wedding dress, belt, and veil from Lasting Impression in June of 2019. I loved the variety of dresses and sizes they had to offer. They offer so many beautiful choices. Loretta assisted me while I was there. She gave me her full attention and truly listened when I told her what I thought I was looking for. She pulled so many dresses for me and helped me put each one on. She listened to what I liked and disliked about each dress without getting frustrated that I was still struggling to find “the one.” Every time I walked to the mirror, one dress that was the complete opposite of what I told Loretta, I was looking for catching my eye. I finally asked, can I try this dress on to prove to myself that I do not want that style, so maybe I could “move on.” Well, after getting into that dress and walking out to look at it, I had that moment… That was my dress that was “the one.” Loretta was so supportive through the ups and the downs of my appointment! She honestly has a beautiful spirit that any bride would be lucky to be touched by! I even found the perfect bridesmaids dresses here. The experience we had when finding bridesmaids dresses was just as amazing as when I found my perfect wedding dress! All the staff at Lasting impressions are indeed a class act and care about each of their costumers and take the time to know them on a very personal level! I would recommend this bridal shop to any and everyone I know!!

I loved working with Lasting Impressions for Lauren and Derek’s Wedding on September 15th, 2019! Lauren raved about how much she loved the personal experience at this store. Her dress matched her personality perfectly!

I have mixed feelings about my experience, however my only other outlet to make contact with someone of higher authority is to call the store. I came to this store from Raleigh because there was a particular brand I was interested in and a particular line from that brand that no store in Raleigh carried. I was in the area visiting friends, so this worked out. I worked with Loretta and she was AMAZING! So sweet and patient. I was looking for an evening gown for a formal wedding I am attending. I tried on several dresses and while she said they were wonderful for my figure and skin tone, the lace and beads were too much for me. She pulled out a bridesmaid dress from the same designer line and I immediately felt like a princess! We were able to zip up the store sample size, however breathing was another story. The pockets also gaped and accentuated my hips. Loretta said she would order the next size up for me and that would fix the pockets too. I was shocked that my measurements were not taken to verify the correct size to order. I put off my questions as I was trusting Loretta, shes the professional. The size and color I wanted was in stock and I asked Loretta to order the dress. Since I was now ordering a bridesmaid dress, I could have easily called one of the bridal shops here in Raleigh to order the dress from them. However, I chose to order from Loretta, she put in the work and deserved the order.The dress came in and I came in as soon as I had a free weekend. Everyone had customers when I walked in and I was happy to wait. I just drove 120 miles and I needed a breather. Loretta was with a customer so her co-worker got me started in trying on my dress. It was still very tight and although I could breath, I said to the lady, "Im not going to be able to sit down in this." Her response was, "Its brand new and hasnt stretched yet. What?!?!? I minored in fashion merchandising in college and do not remember satin being one of those stretchy fabrics. However, shes the professional here, so I trusted her. I should have spoken up on both accounts, but I will get back to that in the next paragraph. Loretta was finally free to help me and she pulled in the sleeves and said it looked very nice. I asked her about proper undergarments to wear and what kind of jewelry to wear with the dress. It is elegantly simple. I was asking because I was willing to give the store more of my money. She suggested some shape-wear since I was uncomfortable with the way the dress laid over my hips. She suggested a simple pendant like type necklace, but did not show me anything that was being carried in the store. I paid my balance and left to drive another 120 miles back to Raleigh.I was able to find a lovely place to do the alterations. I am glad I chose to do the alterations closer to home because it is taking multiple visits. The professional seamstress was shocked and appalled that my measurements were not taken and the correct size dress was not ordered. She also confirmed that satin does not stretch. They were able to let the dress OUT 2 inches to give me some more breathing and sitting room BECAUSE SATIN DOES NOT STRETCH. Round two of alterations will include taking in the sleeves, taking up the hem at the waistline in order to give me a slimmer hip and to close the gaping pockets. (Pockets on a bridesmaid dress??? Over $100 in alterations later, I will have the dress I wanted, but should not have cost me this much had the proper care been taken to order the correct size in the first place.My second visit did not make me feel like I was being taken care of, I felt like a nuisance. I really want to recommend this place to others, but I cannot. If you decide to shop here, speak up if you have any doubts. If you think they are missing a step like taking measurements, ask for them. Stand up for yourself, if you dont, it could cost you a lot more money than you initially wanted to spend.

Candice and Loretta were amazing!!!!! I went there looking for a vintage, form fitting dress and a concept in mind. From there they went through their entire dress selections and brought options to my room for me. I must have been there for 4 hours or more. They assisted me with getting the dresses on, giving me feedback along with just an overall happy experience. They even assisted me with making sure the sash for my dress and my veil would go with my vintage look. After I left there I looked at other bridal shops but none of them gave me the attention that Lasting Impressions have. Not only have I bought wedding dresses there but I’ve also bought multiple bridesmaids dress. Thank you for making my day great and for treating me like I was a queen.

When trying on wedding gowns, they helped me get them on and clipped to fit me. They even gave helpful feedback. I purchased my dress, veil, head piece, mothers of the bride, bridesmaids, flower girl dresses and even our shoes from Lasting Impressions. I loved the quality of the products and the experience of trying on dresses was wonderful!I had been to several bridal stores trying on dresses and Lasting Impressions made me feel like their only customer. The staff took time with me and my bridal party. They listened to our wants and helped us find the right dresses. They dont rush you and expect you to fall in love with the first one. They dont get mad when you want to try a dress on again. I would highly recommend any bride wanting to have a great experience in dress shopping to give Lasting Impressions a try.

They have a very large selection and a wide variety of dresses to choose from. They were the first and only place I went to try on dresses! Mixed Feelings | Selecting my wedding gown was a wonderful experience . . . I had so much fun and Candice was very patience and helpful as we tried on a number of dresses that day!  In addition to my wedding gown I purchased my veil, headpiece, bridesmaid dress, mother of bride dress and invitations from the shop.  Everyone was friendly and got to know me, my mother and bridal party on a first name basis.  Once my dress arrived things became difficult.  I had to call to check on the status of my invitation proof, my veil and a pair of shoes for my bridesmaid.  My veil did not arrive in time for my bridal portraits (it was ordered +15 weeks priorbut they did let me borrow one of the veils from the shop to use for my portraits.  My bridesmaid’s shoes were ordered +12 weeks after the dress and shoes were paid for because they were waiting for the matron of honor to select her shoes so they could place the order at one time but my matron of honor was not purchasing her shoes from this shop.  Having to make constant phone calls and multiple trips to the shop (+45 minute drivewas frustrating.  I was disappointed in the lack of clear communication once we made our purchases.  I was extremely disappointed in the alterations that were completed by their preferred business Alternations by Tina.  I was in tears when I left the shop because my dress looked awful and I was not looking forward to walking down the aisle in the dress.  I took my dress to another alteration shop to correct the alterations.  I love my wedding dress and have received numerous flattery comments about the dress.  I absolutely loved working with Candice during dress selection process but once the purchase and my dress arrived I seemed to have problem after problem.  I selected this bridal shop after careful research and meeting them at a bridal show and I was very disappointed because I did not receive the customer service I expected throughout the process.
