the negative reviews of this place areunfoundedwe visited to see a potential adoptee, and the person who helped us was a delight. The facility is very nice and newer and the pups seem to be very well cared for.I would assume the ‘trash’ reviews of this place reflect more on those ‘reviewers’ and the way they deal with authorities

My 85 year old mom was told if she didn’t have her dog vaccinated that she would be fined or put in jail. Threaten to put an 85 yr. old in jail. Really? She was also told when she needed to take her dog to the vet which was not conducive to her personal medical schedule. Please understand that my mom’s dog NEVER goes outside but a “bat could get inside and bite her dog” The 13 year old dog doesn’t have any teeth! But moreover, does anyone read these reviews? Common thread, rude, condescending and unprofessional!

Very rude called due to me finding 5 kittens in my area that have been sick and strays I decided to finally bring them into my home during a storm if I hadnt they would have drown. I tried my best to care for them but I couldnt they were sick and had fleas, and I have my own animals. I asked them if they could take them because i had MULTIPLE other shelters say they take in strays kittens ( it is animal control and they told us they couldnt take them even after us telling them we cant afford it. And have no were to send them. Very rude staff to. They dont care about your animals.

I called and asked for information to get my dogs tags. I was very happy to hear a want to help you attitude. When I made it over to pick up the tags, what a warm welcome. Sometimes we don’t know what the other person is going through. I had a great experience.

They wont even answer their phones. You get a message every time you call. They want you to leave name/number and they will return your call. Then youre just playing phone tag. I try to call during my lunch because I cant have personal calls at work. This organization is a joke!

Trash establishment with trash rules enforced by trash human beings.

Absolute joke. They charge $13 to run a credit/debit card to make a payment when you have a fee. Out here keeping Lee County safe from dogs that escape by charging people $125 per instance. All it takes is a picture and a complaint from someone (could be same day multiple pictures and just say they’re different daysand you get charged for each “proof” picture. They serve no purpose and do nothing helpful for the community. Scumbags

This people are all rude and stick up. They force people into things and don’t understand when someone is on disability that they can’t pay right away. If you don’t have them pay right away to put a dog down then they will give you a citation and a court date. I would avoid at all cost. If I could give a zero stars I would have.

Avoid them at all costs. Ignorant people run the department.

Currently trying to register my dog, but everytime I go they are closed during their working hours. I will wait half an hour to an hour in the parking lot and they wont answer the phone and are still not open. I have done this 5 times.

I had very good help here. The staff were all professional and polite. They were able to answer all my questions, and had a warm concern for all thier animals. They are interested in putting the right people with the right animal to make a perfect fit for everyone. I commend them for doing a hard job, so well.
