Worst experience of my life! I have never been treated with such disrespect ever! My daughter and I went in to order to go food. The lady taking our order was very rude, but we were hungry so we dealt with it. They didnt have what I ordered so while I was looking at the menu again a party of about 7 walked in. I told the lady she could go ahead and seat the party so I didnt hold anyone up. As she was cleaning a table an old man came to the counter yelling at us to hurry up and order or our food was going to take too long to make. Then he proceeded to yell at the lady cleaning the table, walked back to us and started screaming at us to get out. He said we were not there before the other party, which clearly we were. Then he started taking his arm and pointing to us to get out while screaming at us. I was in such disbelief that I threw my menu on the counter and left. My daughter was very upset and couldnt believe what she just witnessed! I would never recommend this place to anyone and after reading all the other reviews am glad we didnt eat there. We drove to Laytons and had a wonderful experience with extremely nice staff!
My mom and I went here in hopes of getting some carry-out breakfast. We come in and the lady at the counter seems like shes annoyed by something. Were looking on the menu and a family of 5 or 6 come in. We told the lady to go ahead to clean a table for them while we looked at the menu. She went to go clean it off when an older man that Im guessing is named Leo comes over and says something like "You guys are going to take 2 days to pick something". We thought he was joking so we laughed it off. He went over to the lady and said something to her about us, and comes back over saying "You have to wait outside, they were here first" in a rude tone. My mom told him we were there first and the lady was cleaning off a table for them anyways. He raised his voice and starting yelling at us saying "Get out!" several times. We walked out pass the family and told them "Good luck with eating here."Never again will we ever go there.
$50 for breakfast for 3 (one infantnot even that great. I was not impressed at all. Staff was nice though, so at least theres that(only reason they are getting 2 stars).
Owner was extremely rude and kicked us out because he said he ran out of bread. Plus employees were not wearing masks properly.
Quaint little shop.. Authentic Gyros are the best! Their battered fries are also delicious
Very crowded and uncomfortable environment. I didn’t even feel comfortable eating there so I paid for the drinks and left. I couldn’t manage to eat there with that smell.
Seems like a pain for them to greet and serve you both times we attempted to go. Couldnt ordered first time because they were only serving breakfast around 11:30, understandable. Went second time two hours before they closed, seemed like a hassle for me to be there, once again only to be told they were closed unless we were ordering crabs.
Breakfast was delicious! Ham and cheese omelet and the wife had pancakes with bacon
Would not recommend. Menus displayed one price and they charged us more than what was shown.Either that or the waiter got the order completely wrong. 🤷🏼♂️ Not going back.
My family and I went to have breakfast and were treated rudely. We took our dog and my husband’s phone rang. He accidentally placed our pup on an outside table that was apparently used to put shakes on. One of the servers/owner pulled the screen opened and was rude saying we put shakes there so your dog can’t be there. Well, he didn’t realize and it was an honest mistake. He thought the table was there to block you from the window.... social distance. He offered to wipe the table down for her. Then he said we would like to have breakfast and she was very nasty and said all we have are sandwiches. My thing is right now business is slow and you need to be kind to your customers and take what you can. What a terrible experience and we will spend our time and money elsewhere and will tell others of our experience here as well.
Gyro made my fiancé and I sick, I threw up after eating. I called to tell them, they denied that it was their gyro that made me sick and said they would give me my money back it was their treat to me not that their gyro made me sick smh. Got to the window, she lady insulted me basically called me drunk that’s why I threw up which was wrong.Do yourself a favor and do not go there!By the way their seafood prices were extremely high!!!Don’t go here!!!
Amazing customer service! If your looking for amazing crabs at great prices I highly recommended!!! We will be coming back!!! 🦀 June 2020
Kind people, but the cuisines are oversteamed or over fried. Crabs and shrimp should slide out of their shells when steamed properly not stick or be mushy. I forgave the costs considering the times, but because of the times I cant take the chance again. A shame really.
Always amazing and my favorite place #1 in ocean city, the owners are the best people ever, everyone needs to go here, AMAZING👍👍👍🦀🦐🦀🦐🦀🦐
Leos has been an Ocean City institution for many many years. My wife and I have been enjoying the food and the atmosphere for over 20 years !His home fries are absolutely the best we have ever found. The Owners are the nicest people you ever want to meet!
I have been going to LEOS for years. He makes a great Greek salad! His steamed shrimp and crabs are amazing. Actually everything he makes is pretty awesome. Great food at a good price. From breakfast to dinner and everything in between its always the first stop I make when I get to ocean city.
Our family loves Leos family. Good food, good prices. Breakfasts are terrific.
We got a dozen small crabs at $30 and a dozen large crabs at $70 I put them side by side and they were exactly the same size. They were heavy n tasted great but the same size
I just got food poisoning!! Terrible waitresses, food and atmosphere!
Wow just wow!! They gave me raw food!! Gordon Ramsey wouldnt approve this place. Someone call Hells Kitchen!
Worst place in OC! Terrible customer service. They are very rude. The main rude waitress was a elderly lady who had an attitude from the beginning. Save your money. This place is losing a lot of money!
Shortly , very dissapointing experience. Food is extremely overpriced for the way this place looks.
Food was good, crabs good , entered wrong amount on payment to charge me 1000 percent more
We cant wait each spring for the BEST CRAB SOUP! Lovely family owned casual beach restaurant also specialising in authentic Greek food.
We had crab cakes and fries again here the third restaurant in 4 days in Maryland and Delaware. By far the best! Leo still works here now age 81 and has been here 42 years! Great service. Great artwork. Genuine Greek gyros and crab cakes and other Seafood. Good coffee also.
I went there with my mum and ordered calamari appetizer and it was cooked while frozen with a gross sauce; the calamari was rubbery and unseasoned and when we tried to send it back to pay and leave, the cook started yelling at us to leave because we didnt like the food!
Let me start with it’s 42 year old diner type food a block from the beach (on the beach side). Second, the breakfast was well worth the price. Fluffy pancakes & French toast, and tasty hashbrowns and yummy eggs. No wait for seating (but it was quite busy& very quick providing food after ordering!! Great experience!
You can do better, without much effort. We had lunch here because we were staying just around the corner, and it was a close walk from the beach. Food was edible, but they did not put much effort into it. I had a shrimp salad sub and onion rings. The onion rings were cheap store bought onion rings that they put in the fryer for too long. The sub was a huge roll with tons of lettuce, not shredded, a couple slices of tomato, some onion, and shrimp that was coated in mayonnaise and had some old bay seasoning on it. Sad to say the least. Prices were not cheap, but hey, youre at the beach, so cheap is not going to happen. Most everything the family had seemed like frozen stuff they picked up at BJs or a Costco, and deep fried. Not horrible, but not worth it it either.
Tiny place on Coastal Hwy that delivers a hometown feel.. Quick service and reasonably priced. Great selection for such a small establishment. Super friendly wait staff. We stopped in for breakfast. Made to perfection. Dinner for next visit for sure.
I visited Leos while vacationing in Ocean City MD. My bill was $119 and I was charged $143. I tried to call and talk to them, was told to come back and show them the charge online and then hung up on. When I showed back up they had my receipt printed out and on the counter. Told me that I was charged $119 but it was very obvious that I wasnt. They were not willing to help me out give me a refund for the difference instead told me they would call the cops on me for leaving a bad reviewVery very customer service. I will not return. And word of advice for anyone going there pay cash.
Best breakfast uptown and now I know they have the only, amazing gyro in OC!
THE BEST creamed chipped beef in town, but no consistency. Sometimes the gravy covers all the toast and home fries, other times it barely covers half the toast. Sometimes the home fries come with potatoes (which I cant standso I have to pick them out, other times they come plain (which they should). Onions should only be added when asked for. Customer service is hit or miss depending on day of the week.
Our favorite go to place in Ocean City. The owners are very nice and always remember us year after year. Good Food and quick service.
Wonderful experience. We had our hockey team of 20 people come in, and the food came out rather quickly, was reasonably priced, and everything was delicious. The staff was very friendly and told stories about Greece (where they were from). Would highly recommend.
Ate there twice during our long weekend, despite plenty of nearby options. It was one of the few places we could fit a group of 8 comfortably. Food came out really fast after ordering. Staff was nice and food tasted great.
Reasonable breakfast price for OC. French toast was shockingly good. Omelettes were pretty good, too. Family friendly. Not an upscale or designer atmosphere.
We had lunch here 9/1/17 with four adults and one child. OC can be a very disappointing area to find a good value for the buck while dining but this place proved to be just the right spot for lunch. We pulled in on a lark passing by and quite honestly we almost ran out due to first impression but everyone of us all had a nice meal with an attentive waitress (I think she was a relative some way). Get the crab cakes!
Been going to Leos since I was a wee lad. I love the food, and the owners are just the sweetest people
Ive been going to Leos for years. Their food is always great and extremely affordable. Service is fantastic and carryout only takes minutes.I highly recommend their breakfast. I come here for their breakfast nearly every day on my vacations. I also recommend their hot roast beef sandwich for dinner, as its my favorite!
If you want spoiled crabs go here. Got 6 crabs with my shrimp and each and every one was full of green slime that Ive never seen in my 30 years of crab eating. I paid my bill in full and didnt request a rebate or anything but the owner/cashier asked me how my meal was so I told them the crabs were rotten. She got loud and told me they were fresh delivered that day.Horrible 👎
Great all you can eat crabs, and the price is extremely reasonable.
Food tasted horrible. Waitresses were forgetful. Food portion sizes were low. do not come here you will be disappointed.
Not even one star will I give them! I went with my 16yr old daughter for breakfast and asked to eat outside as many do. They sent someone outside to ask to hold my I.D. until after I paid for my daughters and my breakfast. I did thinking it was just a weird polices but it ended up that the others that came in after us were not asked for I.D. at all. So I had to explain to my 16yr old why! This is the first time my daughter has experienced Racial Profiling so THANKS LEOs for my daughters first experience! Very upsetting!
I love the gyros and the fish subs. Live locally and wish they were open year round!
Best price on AYCE crabs in Ocean City. Friendly server and owners were very engaged with customers. We even spent several minutes chatting in the parking lot as we were leaving. The crabs were good and tasty with only a few coming in light or dry. You have to expect that when you go AYCE. We were all pleasantly surprised with the quality of our experience there and plan to return next year.
Excellent food!!! Unassuming place across from our hotel and we were pleasantly surprised at the quality and tastiness of their food!
overpriced meals, rats running through peoples ankles while eating, our waitress was sitting at a nearby booth on the phone while we were trying to pay the bill. will not be back.
Love it great place you can joke with the cook the boss and the waiters cant get any better
Always Big Fat Crabs. Pete strives to keep prices great. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner menu you cant go wrong. Love the soft crab sandwich. Friendly staff well informed on menu and happenings around town. check it out well worth the stop. eat in or carry out. awesome epic experience
We walked into the restaurant and the chef had to be woken from a sound sleep from a booth. I ordered a ham and cheese sandwich and thats exactly what I got. Literally a piece of ham and a piece of cheese between two slices of bread. No lettuce, condiments or anything. I asked if chips came with the sandwich and they said no.Should have walked out but we were starving. The worst pace I have been to in a while.
