This is a very nice rv park with bathouse and cabins. Self check in was simple and my stay was short and sweet. I got in about 6pm on Sunday evening and was out by 8 am Monday morning, and never met anyone from the park.
Cool place nice showers and a great spot to go to the fair and come back
The lady that works there complains about every little thing u do, Ive never been hassled for sitting at home not bothering anybody more than I have here I will never be back.
Hate it
Nice place to stay. Clean, bathhouse is secure and well maintained.
Sleep spots for campers and rvs
Little pricey for services only stopped because of high winds
Very nice place. Very nice people
New campgrounds located behind the new truck stop. Easy to enter/exit from the highway. Polite staff if helpful. $40 a day +. $25 for a trailer or extra vehicle
We enjoyed our one-night stay at Lighthouse Landing. The hookups all worked well, the WiFi was great! Beautiful views!
We needed a place to stop and sleep for 1 night, last minute. I emailed them and she got back to me fairly quickly with a space, instructions for stay and it was a great price for FULL hook up. Clean bathrooms/showers.
Nice park, big sites & they do have cabins.Very convenient to all the things to do here in S.Hutchinson & Hutchinson. The manager took care of us when we had to extend more than once. The owner worked with us, actually did the work, to get a replacement braker in a very hard & tight spot. We thank you so much for your help & hospitality. We will come back. Dutch & Di
Best Campground I think Ive Ever stayed at!! Would definitely stay there again if ever in the area!!!!
Had my camping wedding weekend there. It was beautiful even though it rained all weekend. Wonderful helpful people
Very nice facilities, bathrooms were cozy warm and clean with lots of hot water in the showers in Feb. Level sites, full hookups, Laundry, a very nice loft with rocking chairs, a TV and full kitchen, again very clean and well maintained. They had the cutest light house doll house. Awesome internet (which is hard to find). Near the underground Salt Museum and the Cosmosphere. Close to major roads. Nicest camprgound we have stayed at in that area of Kansas. Since this is in Kansas, like everything there, its fields forever so no tree cover and a bit breezy. Still 5 stars for us.
All the sites are full hookup. Very clean facilities, including laundry room. Smart idea to have the bath house as the storm shelter also. Theres a nice level of security from the storm shelter to the security lights all over the park. The owners are both friendly & helpful. I would highly recommend staying here.
We have called Lighthouse Landing home now for 3 years. Its a great place for overnight or a long-term stay, with clean facilities that are well maintained.
In an effort to extend our vacation and casually travel back home from Colorado, we looked at RV parks about half way between our prior spot and home. We Google-map searched for RV parks and found this beautiful place! The office in the 1-room school house is charming, and self checking was a breeze. Even after hours, we could purchase firewood (from an authentic-looking wood shedand ice. Our spot, #11, was HUGE: We could park a large RV, our truck, and a another small RV or truck if we needed to do so. The site had a fore ring but an adorable new tree, plus a picnic table, and plenty of room on the side for a large rug and many chairs. And the price: Very low, especially compared to KOAs, and we had a Good Sam discount. While we had our RV, the cabins, built in a style you might see on this prairie a century ago, were beautiful!
Very nice place to stay, weve enjoyed staying here at least 4 times now. Well definitely be back!
Very quiet RV park. Level gravel, spacious sites and easy access to utilities. Close to restaurants and gas. We stayed in a 25 ft Travel trailer in late October.
Ok showers and prices. but kept having stuff stolen off my rv
A great and very accommodating staff...Jennifer...was a total gem. The spots are long enough for my 40 footer and extended dually. Lots are spacious with up to date full hookups.
Nice, clean level lot with full hookups. We arrived without reservations..as we needed to call it a day early.... .office closed at 3pm...called telephone number on wall..went to voice mail. slightly inconvenient....we did get our site and all is well..
Nice location. Needs to have lawns mowed and basic site maintenance done. Big rig friendly . Would stay again. Appears owners are possibly expanding the rv park.
Great Campground quiet and clean sites are level and close to town
Nice new very clean park. Easy to get in and out. Gravel sites are level.Do hear occasional train.Would stay there again.
Wish I had taken photos but it rained most of our stay. This is a small park but one of the best private parks for miles. The bathrooms and showers are clean and really nice. They have some small cabins like tiny houses that looked like they were all being occupied by long term families. This is the only thing that turned me off with several things outside of these cute tiny houses. The lady in the office was very nice. My daughter even went in and visited the office cats
Great place to stay right off the road. Well maintained and affordable.
Only a few years old and already they have accomplished so much. I was there for a rally had a wonderful meeting room they have a storm shelter which is also doubles as the washrooms. the owners are very friendly and helpful and it was a real joy to spend time there.
I cant say enough about this RV Park. The owner and office manager helped us out when our house was flooded. Jennifer worked hard to find a spot for us! She is the sweetest lady and Richard, the owner, helped us out on the price of the site. We were there 3 weeks. They have nice bathrooms, laundry room and a storm shelter that will handle many people! Cute cabins also. We cant thank you enough for all you did for us! GREAT RV Park. Thanks Jennifer and Richard.
Its right off the highway and really cute with the tiny houses. My friend lives there.
Office lady starts out nice but it’ll all go South soon
I don’t know if it was the owner who answered the phone but she was so rude and acted like I bothered her. We wanted a spot for several months traveling with the pipeline. She was so rude. I don’t think she realizes how many pipeliners are up here now or how fast word spreads. I’d much rather pay $100 more a month and not deal with a crabby attitude.
We enjoy being able to have our meetings there
Best RV park in the world no question about it Austin’s Aboed is the best cabin
We stayed here for 2 nights. This is a cute RV park with everything you need in a small area. Very laid back. The owner came to greet us when we got there at our site. No one at the office. We made arrangements in advance. We visited the Cosmosphere. Excellent space museum. Comparable to Cape Canaveral only smaller.
This is a little treasure we found as we are traveling through Kansas. Its a small RV Park, clean and the people are very friendly. They have 4 furnished cabins that look like they belong on the prairie, a bath house, laundry, wi fi, propane. Reading the pamphlet they have I see that they will be expanding and will have tent sites and more spaces available for RVs. This is a Good Sam and also Passport America.
We will be back if we are in the area. Clean bathroom, showers & laundry. Very friendly & helpful park manager.
Nice place, level lots. Pull in no problem. Nothing to do here, only stayed one night. Good stop over place.
Sites were not as level as could be. Nice concrete patio. Full hook ups. Cute cabins for your overflow visitors. 2 washers, 2 dryers, 2 showers. No lounge or game room. Host closes at 1:00 pm. Seems early since most travelers dont pull in until middle afternoon or later. I had contacted the day before and was given a site number, so getting there just after closing time was not a problem. I would stay there again.
Good place rest and grab a shower. They have a washer/dryer coin operated to use. Showers cost $1.50 for good shower time
A very nice place to camp. I would really recommend it to anyone that wanted to camp in Hutchison.
This was a newer RV Park, so it didn’t have the shady trees and ambiance of some of the more established ones. The bathhouses were newly constructed and very clean, with individual locking showers and very good hot water pressure. The owner was friendly, and has freshly planted trees with long term plans to expand including a little pond.
Wonderful RV park! Clean sites. Easy pull throughs. Wonderful bath house with laundry room and an upstairs conference room and kitchen. The office is a quaint, old one room school house. It is obvious that the owners take great care of their park. Ee stayed here for one night in a teardrop camper.
Stayed at this park for 4 nights. It is nice and quiet even though it is close to the highway. This is a new park but the owner is working hard at providing all the amnities. Very good WIFI. Close to the city but with a country feel. Restaurant, gas station and outdoor store are within walking distance. Owner and office worker were very nice and helpful.
I stayed for one night and it was great. This place is new. Very new. Neighbors were friendly and place looks great. Refer to my uploaded pictures.
This is a great place to camp. Nice level sites. Full hook ups. Concrete pads on some. Working on putting some more other sites. Cute cabins and old school house that has been remodeled on inside for check in. He is building his business as we speak. The spot is worth your money. We will come back when we come back this way.
This rating is based on our experience on 8/30/17. Pulled in noticing that some sort of construction was going on just north of park. Earth movers were stirring up a lot of dust, campers in the park were covered in dust and no one was outside. We decided not to stay. Feel like Jennifer should have warned us about that when I called the day before to make a reservation. People with allergies or other respiratory illnesses should not stay here until the work is done. While all of the above is true Jennifer did call me back and refunded my money.
We were a little worried due to the location of the camp. Right off the highway and behind a sporting goods store and a truck stop. Our worries were unfounded as it is a very quiet place. The owners are not on site, you check it at the old school house and leave form and payment in the box provided. They have cabins as well as RV sites. The roads in the park are gravel and somewhat rutted. The sites are gravel and we had to try three of them before we found one that was close to level - this is the reason for the 3 star rating. They are pull through and long enough for our 37 foot RV, tow dolly and parking the car. The site is all weeds, no picnic table. It doesnt appear that it has been open all that long and they are still working on improving the space so sites and roads could be better in the future. The bathroom and laundry were clean. There is plenty of space to walk your dog but watch for picker weeds. WiFi was good and Verizon signal was strong. We stayed one night, June 24, 2017. We paid $17 a night with our Passport America discount.
Highly impressed by a campground that isnt even 1 year old. We talked with the owner and he shared his future plans with us. Impressive plans.Everything was clean and neat. The office is an old one room school, beautifully renovated. We will stay there again.
