Food:Caesar salad - Crunchy lettuce leaves with sour olives and croutons masked in mayo & parmesan; sour on the whole but fresh and kickyMasala garlic bread - Topped with mozzarella shavings, onions & chillies, this was just goodPale di potato - Crispy potato skins which usually is a hit but was dry and strong; maybe it was the potatoesNachos with cheese sauce - Full nachos with molten cheese and veggies; plain even with the salsa; not a fan stillFantasy - Thin crust overloaded with herbs, cottage cheese and mozzarella; soft mozzarella was the only saviour since this wasnt spicy enoughVirgin Mojito & Margarita - Loaded with ice, too much though. Refreshing but brain-freezeApple elderflower mint sparkle - Crushed ice with salt brim; the flavours were all around and hits right from the first sip, SWEETAmbience/Price:The ambience of this place always clicks for people of all age groups. They have got good seating space with valet parking. The service was decent enough but their price always bites back. Not sure if it was worth it. MEH!!!

A cozy restaurant tucked in the gullies of Chennais crowded Nungambakkam area. Very courteous staff, ambient atmosphere and good food makes you to visit this restaurant again and again... Also, this restaurant serves buffet lunch to its patrons... Valet parking takes out your worry of parking in this congested Nungambakkam area.

Limited Sit-in Buffet. Luscious food. Hot & well served from starters to desserts. However, 4 instead of 5 stars, due to waiter had to be called instead they paying attention & lack of parking space. valet parking, minor scratch on our vehicle due to valet’s inattentiveness.2nd visit..Terrible!!Ordered Cannelloni and Pizzas came way late and its below average. Its not even baked well enough! It looked unappetizing and ridiculous!Desserts were good. Cutlery was not clean though! Even the packaged water here had a very odd taste!Being a high end pure vegetarian Italian restaurant, this place doesnt match its prices with even one of food quality, quantity and taste. Disappointed! Not at all recommended!

The amenities here are top notch. The place was clean and everything was served properly. For some reason though, Christmas songs in Spanish and English were playing in the background. We had each ordered the walk in lunch buffet, which seemed very promising at first. However, as we were a party of 2, many of the common dishes(which may have been the only good oneswere given as single servings for both of us. Instead of getting each of us an 8 inch pizza, we were given 1 8inch pizza with different flavours on each half. The appetizers and pizza were nice, but the pastas and soups left much to be desired.

I visited the restaurant for lunch on a weekday and was pleasantly surprised at the offer they had. They presented me with a menu of a welcome drink, appearizers, soups, pizza, pasta, and desserts all at 799 rupees. You can pick one dish from each of these and have unlimited appetizers. It was a great value for money but the only caveat was that this is only available during weekdays.I have said this before and I will say it again. Little Italy hands down makes the best bread out there. The masala garlic bread was truly magical. All the other dishes were also great. The service was spaced out well with the waiters ensuring there was no wait time between service.

UPDATE JULY/26: The company is ignoring my multiple emails and calls despite posting a message asking me to reach out to them.I will be sharing this review with all other acquaintances/contacts planning to order or cater from Little Italy, so that they will not have to tolerate this terrible customer service.***Short version: Almost everything is now vegan, and it tastes TERRIBLE. If you want cheesy Italian food with actual flavor and texture, find a different restaurant.Long version: Little Italy used to be one of our family favorites, but that is no longer the case. We ordered some dinner to be delivered and while ordering, I noticed that most food choices had turned vegan and there was no way to opt out of this. So we ended up with a vegan pizza, a vegan pasta [Quattro Formaggi], and one vegetarian pasta made with real cheese [Cannoli].In short, we spent close to 2,000 INR to eat bland, flavorless vegan cheese that looked tasted like white, unsalted mud. The vegan cheese on the pizza tasted like wet paper. Only the pasta made with dairy cheese was delicious but overall, the meal was a total waste of money. I bitterly regretted not making a white sauce pasta for myself from scratch and saving a great deal of cash. Im not against veganism; there are great vegan eateries in Chennai, but Little Italy is not one of them.In conclusion, if youre a vegan who doesnt care about taste, then feel free to order from Little Italy. But if you want good Italian food thats worth your hard-earned money, its time to move to an eatery that uses genuine dairy cheese.

Worst restaurant among Italian restaurants in chennai.. The service teams attitude is by far the worst.. Please do not visit with kids... They will not give any special requests..I asked for a small quantity showing them the quantity gesture for the kid... They denied.. And insisted to get a ala carte starter that has sautéed mushrooms... I should have understood by then itself..We ordered a cream sauce pasta and i requested a small serving of PESTO sauce.. The waiter 1st denied. Then they said they will charge for it.. On asking how much the waiter said.. Its very costly sir.. 🤣🤣🤣..Later in a while he bought some pesto sauce and placed on the table.. Another act of shaming.. I politely denied and that moment we decided to never visit this restaurant ever again.. Would definitely not recommend this restaurant..

I have been visiting the restaurant for more than 10 years now and it is one of my favourite places to eat-out in Chennai. I have visited the other branches - Beasant Nagar and the short-lived one in Teynampet, but have found the Nungambakkam branch to be the best. Being a vegetarian (and now veganwith additional food restrictions (no garlic), eating out is a nightmare in most cases. But at Little Italy, the waiters and the chef have always been very accomodating and friendly. We went out with the family during the weekend and the kids had a blast with the buffet, while my mother loved the risotto and pizza made to order. Highly recommended.

The restaurant is one of the best for vegetarian Italian cuisine. The ambience is good and the staff are well trained. The food price is on the higher end due to branding of little Italy branches in Chennai, but the quality matches its price though. The dished from pastas, ravioli, pizza, spaghetti, etc to drinks and desserts such as tiramisu are good and well made. The dishes are purely vegetarian and hence good for veggie lovers. The parking is a little bit hard when there is rush coz of limited space, but will be available if we wait. The restaurant is in one of main hubs of city and hence easily accessible. The staffs know their work and do it right. Overall a good restaurant with lots of Italian dishes to try, which are worthy even though its on higher end of pricing.

Excellent place to have vegetarian Italian food. The service is excellent at this branch as usual with other branches.Just a tip, if you have a budget and are in a mood to experiment, check with the staff on their recommendations. It always works. Our favorite is nachos with baked beans - it never disappoints.Oh btw, Little Italy offers Jain options too for the Jain community too.As its a bit on the costliet, the restaurant is best recommended for special occasions or family get togethers (my personal opinion). Hope there are some options for single people who dont need to order the full mains and side orders 🙂

Brilliant ambience and service, was literally top notch. Had Ravioli Crocante, Risotto Al Fungi and Lavender Lemonade. The taste was out of the park. They could be a little more generous with the quantity, and its a bit pricy. But the restaurant as a whole is worth trying. It definitely has that Italian vibe.

Heard so much about this place and visited on a Saturday evening. We called ahead to make reservations and first to walk in at 12:10 but by the time we left at 1:40 the place was filled with people. Me and my friend chose the buffet option which was 799/person.Buffet spread : Welcome drink, soup, pizza, salads, onion rings, assorted bread, nachos and live pasta counter. My absolute favourite was the nachos with the freshly made tomato and parsley salsa.. I kept munching on that. I had a refreshing feeling at every bite.

The concept of a vegetarian Italian restaurant was very exciting for me and with the good reviews, went for it.Ambience- good, dim-lit, wonderful decor and quite huge. If the arrangement wouldve been in such a way as to reduce the diner density, Id have really appreciated it far more and the got accustomed to the price point as well!On the price, it is on the expensive side, no doubts about it. Does it deliver? Well, probably missing a hit or two at places. The food at times and the service at others.Started with zuppa di cipolle which was described to have been seasoned with parmesan cheese and crunchy croutons. The croutons were all soggy when the soup reached us. Either the soup was too thin to hold the crunchiness even for a short while or maybe they shouldve brought the croutons seperately. The cheese element in the soup was slightly less and a nudge was all it took for them to bring a small tub of grated parmesan cheese. The cheese- not top of the class, but neither bad. An upgrade here would be well counted!Went for caprese salad next, had high expectations for the mozzarella di bufala given the restaurants class. Just like the parmesan, it was average. Couldve had more basil. The portion was decent. Instead of going for secondi or main course, went in for another salad, this time an unorthodox one- they call it insalata gennarino. And just like the sparsely seasoned soup, balsamic vinaigrette were found only in traces. A nudge was needed here. The problem with these nudges were that though there were a few waiters and probably only a couple of tables to serve, the call wasnt easy for me. Back to gennarino, the garlic was highly overpowering in it- it was as pungent as wasabi I could say and the aftertaste wasnt very pleasant. Im sure the Italians would have never made it this way, but wasnt sure how else.Time for the last order had come(earlier than anticipatedand I was in a fix whether to go for main course or not. Went through the detailed menu (very elaborate and long oneand decided to sweet things up after the garlic bomb (the last salad). A special tiramisu or as they call it, Tiramisu Italiano was what I eyed on. And the waiter said that the mascarpone was special. Having had two not very great cheese experiences, braved for the third and oh boy it paid off! Though slightly extra sweet (I dont have sugar otherwise, so it might just be the right regular sweetness), the texture and flavour was nothing short of a beauty 😋Just past 11pm, the cheque was cleared and one of the staff came over to say that the restaurant is going to be closed! Well, I dont see a point in Zomato showing reservations at 11pm if that is the case and the gMaps entry showing a closing time of 11.30pm.Need some tweaks here and there before it stars out for top place, but nevertheless a good peaceful dinner place.#dontWasteFood

If you want to try anything different other than Indian, this place is perfect in Chennai. Especially for vegetarians. Food is a little pricey, but the taste and quality was outstanding. If you ever go to Little Italy, do try their desserts. Also, the buffet is not ideal as the food is kept on the buffet menu for quite a while and it sits cold. If you order separately, itll be red hot and fresh for you to cherish!

This place is located in Eldaroda budding on Nungambakkam. Parking is limited and they have valet parking for four wheelers. For 2 wheelers also paid parking. If you are die hard fan of Italian food you can try. We cant figure out the dishes apart from Pizza. Every thing looked alike and tasted alike. They have limited staff so service is bit down side. They refilled the items very late. So you have to wait. Buffet is over priced at Rs. 720.

The buffet lunch is awesome. Tried very different items not available at other places. The soup, juice, salads, pasta , pizza , variety of dips, the customised pasta and noodle counter are all really good. The deserts are good but not so great. The ambience is quiet and cosy for a comfortable and relaxing chat in a group over lunch. The staff is always there at your service. They charged us around ₹500 with tax for buffet lunch. A la carte menu ranges from ₹200-400 and so a buffet is always preferred.
