Livin Tha Dream Lakeside Seafood and Steak in Baxter County

We do not live in Bull Shoals but visit five or six times a year. We always make sure to eat here one night of every visit. Their burgers are as close to home cooked as you can get. Big fat juicy and char grilled, not on a flat top. And the fries are fresh cut. You just dont get this quality of food anymore and at a very reasonable price. Sorry, not the best picture. But I didnt think about it until halfway through

my wife loves sea food and she says WOW ! the shrimp is the best ! Well be back for more !I had an Italian beef sandwich and it was very good. Kind and friendly staff !!

The Italian beef was flavorful but not what I remembered from Chicago.The bowl of beans offered with the sandwich was a welcome surprise. The flavor was full bodied, although a bit salty, and extremely tender. Service was friendly.

This restaurant was absolutely great. Food was piping hot and delicious. Owners were very personable. We are from northern Illinois and will definitely come back. Don’t miss this one!!

What a customer friendly restaurant! Tabitha was our waitress and an absolute joy. As for the food...hot and delicious. We all ordered the 3 piece fish and it was amazing!!

Great food. Nice environment, local & comfy. Our "California " waitress went the extra mile to get an answer to our question about the marina. She kept us informed while the owner went the extra, extra mile & made calls for information! They told us the answer before we left. This type of service will always bring us back!! Well definitely be going back. They give great service. Highly recommend!!!

Owners present!! Got to chat with both. Discovered I feed them regularly on Sundays! Had crab cakes as appetizer with home made remoulade! Delicious! Half lb hand pressed burgers recommended to me. Definitely a good choice for first trip in. Extensive menu and many things to try! Glad I went there for lunch today!

Melody, our server and only one on duty did an outstanding job! She was waiting about 10 tables solo by the time we left. Cudos to her for her great job, her positive attitude and for working when she could be collecting unemployment like most of the younger generation.Oh, the food - Fried Jumbo shrimp and Chicken Fried Steak dinners were delicious! Cudos to the cook too! Great choices. Would most certainly recommend!

We are always looking for the local "Hole in the Wall" and we found it. Small cozy place with friendly service. They also offered us a bowl of amazing cooked beans while we waited for our meal. Shane the owner came out and visited with the customers and was so pleasant to talk with. Shane said that him and his wife make everything themselves including the dressings. Shane hand cuts all the steaks and the quality is superb and portions are large! If we didnt live 3 hrs away we would be there 2x a week for dinner. Thanks for the great food and service.

Service was great, food was even better. Husband had a mushroom swiss burger, I had the fried fish, it was so so good. Will definitely return.

Got several large take out orders. Everything that was ready before I arrived, was still hot when I got there. A little slow on cooking, but I totally get the understaffed issues alot of places are currently faced with and wasnt bothered by having to wait. Dropped 1 star because kids meals include a drink which I wasnt told about the first time, but it was made up the second time I placed a togo. The servers were very polite and accommodating.

This is one of our very favorite places to eat when we are in the area. Shane and Vandi are two of the kindest people we know. The food has always been excellent. The hamburgers are amazing. They like other restaurants in the area are having a hard time with staffing. Please be patient with the service because the food is worth it. These two work very hard to make their dream a reality. As an added perk Shane will deliver to your home, work or our favorite the marina or boat ramp. We love to call in an order while on the lake, pick it up at Browns Beach and watch the sun go down. Thanks Shane and Vandi for making our summer even more enjoyable. See y’all next summer. Tim and Jennifer

We ate there on July 13, 2021. I had the fried catfish. It was delicious! I am Cajun from south Louisiana and that was as good as mama used to make! We are camping for 2 weeks and will definitely go back before we leave next week!

The buffet was awesome! Best frog legs Ive ever had. Oysters were fresh. I enjoyed both the raw and the fried. Topped off with a homemade peach cobbler!

I was stranded on a cross country trip due to mechanical issues in Lakeview and stumbled across this establishment. Catfish was great! I ordered for delivery and the delivery guy was super polite and fast.

Guys! The Seafood Buffet here is AMAZING!!!! HUGE Grilled Shrimp, HIGE Fried Shrimp, fried soft shell crab, gumbo, crawfish etouffee, raw and fried oysters, fried fish, lots of veggies, peach cobbler, pinto beans, just ABSOLUTELY the best food!!!! Price of the buffet is TOTALLY worth it!!! I honestly would pay double to eat here! It’s totally worth it! Our server Keturah was AMAZING!! This is a MUST VISIT restaurant whether you live here or are just visiting!

First time trying sincenew owners. Hubby loved his Ruben and my Philli Cheese Steak Sandwich was really good. They also have great fries. Definitely on our list of favorite places to eat.

It’s fine our waiter was nice. The shrimp was tasty. The fries were good the hush puppies were not great and the cole slaw was ok The sweet tea was good. Nothing wow about it but was ok. I’d go back.

The food was good. But appetizers were pretty slim. I got the fried onion plater appetizer it was pretty pathetic for 6.50. Was very very disappointed. But like I said the philly cheese steak made up for appetizer.

Food was reasonably priced for the selection and quality. I was disappointed none of the employees outside of kitchen worn asks at any time. I had called ahead to confirm that staff would be masked and they were not. Also seatiing as we ate was rearranged to accomodate more people pushing the mandated 6.The mens restroom had a loose toilet and while a wheelchair maybe able to get in, there were no grab bars, and a standard low toilet.Staff was stressed.

Late stop for a burger and it was amazing! Fresh home made burger, hand cut fries and a drink for $10.47. Im going to keep working my way through the menu!

Anyone who has ate my mommas hushpuppy and coleslaw knows they were delicious. Eating at Livin Tha Dream in Bull Shouls was the closest I have ever found to being like my mommas. We enjoyed the service and the food was delicious.

We were here on vacation, and decided to dine at a locally owned restaurant. This place did not disappoint!!! There were five of us and every one of our meals was FABULOUS! The service was awesome, the drinks were cold and we all got our meals at the same time. Highly recommended!!

We have a lake house here and last time we were here it was Big Daddy’s. We stopped in today for lunch and the food is still very good. The only thing keeping my review from 5 stars is that I was served 5 minutes before my husband was served. UNACCEPTABLE! You ALWAYS bring out the food at the same time! Please fix that dang squeaky kitchen door and replace that faucet in the bathroom, it’s difficult to wash your hands.

We have eaten here several times since they have opened. Breakfast is good as any other place. Lunch is good too. Dinner buffets have been so-so. I do think it will get better as time goes along.

Amazing food, employees, and owners! Our waitress kept up with our drinks and was very friendly. The food was amazing. I recommend the Combo meal. Comes with fish, shrimp and hush puppies. It was delicious. I HIGHLY recommend everyone stops and eats here.
