Far from the nicest hotel Ive ever been in, but was surprisingly serviceable and incredibly affordable. A smart business plan, too, as they just give you a door code. I have most definitely stayed in far worse accomodations.

I came to Downs to do some shooting ... video shooting for a local wedding, that is. This place was the perfect lodging for me. Clean and tidy, it had all of the essentials. And the price was unbeatable! Super nice people to deal with, as well!

The accomadations are perfect here at Lock and Load Lodge for anyone who is looking to do any outdoor activities here in the Downs area. Very clean rooms!!! Highly recommended

This place is awesome. It only has four rooms. two are doubles and two are singles. The internet is fast, flat screen TV, clean, newly remodeled - what more could you ask for? It is right next door to a sporting goods / convenience store that has a grill and makes pizzas and burgers and stuff. If I am ever in the area I will stay here again.

Our overnight stay at Lock-N-Load was very positive. Clean, newly remodeled, the accommodations were comfortable. And, it is very easy to find, located immediately off US Hwy. 24.
