LoLo Hawaiian BBQ - Roy in Weber County

There were about 4 people on duty and they were all in heated discussion about another employee. They cashier even started talking to another employee right in the middle of me giving my order. It was very awkward and uncomfortable. The food was ok.

Unless you’re absolutely craving Hawaiian food on a Sunday I wouldn’t eat at this place ever. The customer service is terrible and the food doesn’t make up for it. Unless you absolutely need a drive thru you can eat here. The young male working the drive thru window was very rude when I asked for an extra sauce. If the food isn’t amazing I wouldn’t waste my time with bad service I’d never eat here again. There’s several Hawaiian restaurants near by that are better.

Lolo is better than Mo Bettah’s in every way. Same price with way more food, options, and higher quality (especially all the expansion mo Bettah’s has gone through). I haven’t had a bad thing from here and it’s my new go to if I want a lot of good tasting and high quality food for a solid price.

We really enjoy lolos. The food is very good, but our first experience at this location was not super great. I’m not sure if it’s because we went near the end of the night or not but our portion sizes were literally HALF of what they normally are.We got the normal two scoops of rice but everything else was half portions. Very little meat, barely any salad, and one of our two salads had gone bad and was completely inedible. We also had to use our own teriyaki sauce from home because the extra sauces we order were just missing.We will definitely still eat at lolos but I am now hesitant to come back to this particular location.

Horrible service!!! I realize that this Covid 19 pandemic is making everything very difficult, but I have literally never been so offended in my life. I went to the drive through and they sent me to the front to wait for my order. After 45 minutes the cars that came after me were being served so I asked a worker why my order hadnt been finished. She threw up her hands all sassy and asked me what I wanted her to do. When I replied that Id like her to hurry, she told me she was cancelling my order. Seriously??? Terrible terrible service.

If you like Hawaiian food, this is the best place that I found so far in the area. They actually have more than the meat plates. The loco moco is really good. Cleanliness is good. Staff is solid, some are more social than others. Wait time is a little long and prices a little high. For 3 meals and drinks it was just shy of $70.

Fast... Friendly... And sooooo delicious. That fire island chicken is the best. Just the right amount of spicy and the flavor is amazing. Highly recommended.

We went in because I looked online and looked at their menu and it seemed reasonable so when we got there, the prices were all different so I asked the cashier if they honor the online prices and she says I would have to ask my manager. She goes back to ask her manager and we saw her say too bad..So the manager comes up and says oh that’s not our prices I’ll have to call my boss which she did and her boss said oh that that’s not our ad on Google .Come on now your business is on Google with a full menu. You see that the business itself had changed their prices, but they never updated anything online..There was never a I’m sorry we’ll go ahead and honor the prices they had young kids working there who don’t even know what customer service is, so needless to say we left and went to Mo Bettahs.

This place has really gone downhill. Most of the time, my order is wrong and I get charged for things that I normally dont get charged for. Like choosing cabbage instead of a salad. Why would they charge me extra for that? Food isnt good anymore either. Im done here. Ill get my Hawaiian food fix somewhere else.

I can understand inflation has driven prices up, but the prices now are ridiculous. Plus, not sure if it was an off day, but the food wasnt that good. No tuna in the maccaroni salad. I ordered the Katsu chicken, I couldnt even finish it, it just tasted off. I usually eat it all, but just couldnt stomach it that day.

All Hawaiian restaurants I have had the pleasure of eating at served steamed cabbage! Not your version of dinner salad that contains lettuce and carrots. No steamed cabbage no sale. Sorry I wasted my time and got my taste buds up for Hawaiian Teriyaki Chicken but oh well. There are plenty of people who have no clue and will just eat what you serve. Please offer a cabbage and no rice option like your menu has an option!

Great tasting bite of food, and convenient drive through! My wife and I shared the three meat plate and it was plenty of food for the two of us and we enjoyed ever last bite. Looking forward to stopping again the next time were passing through this area.

This place is awesome! Customer service is outstanding and tons of food!!! Come hungry!

I am shocked at all the 5 star reviews of this place.If you arrive less than an hour before closing, dont expect to get the right food, decent food, or ANY FOOD AT ALL.I told myself after my last experience here a couple of months ago that Id never come back to this location. That visit consisted of showing up 40 minutes before close, quickly ordering, then sitting in the drive thru for almost 20 minutes... It was just over 18 minutes if my memory serves me right. I saw NOBODY inside through the window while I sat in my car. I drove off saying "never again". This was following my prior visit where the food was just "so-so" at best. Both times, I was the only one in the drive thru.Well, I was in a hurry tonight and passing by right around 30 minutes til close. Ordered quickly, waited in line for about 10 minutes (again unacceptable waitand got all the way home to discover I clearly got someone elses order.The quality of my mistaken meal isnt even that good.I guess third time is the charm for teaching me a lesson. And Ill go out of my way to never eat here again.

Please make a more clear menu! I went through the drive through and was confused as to what to order I left without ordering. A week later I went inside and had the girl at the front explain it to me. Also use better quality meat mine was mostly fat and just because you serve fat with BBQ sauce doesnt make it edible!Your shrimp was delicious through.

The service is great and very friendly. The place is busy and stays occupied. Im very much on the fence about the food. This is my first visit and the next time Im in town, I will give it another chance.

Food was ok. Tables were very dirty. Had to clean my own table. Lot of food but cost a lot.

Yummy! Weve been there twice and have loved their food. The food has been prepared perfectly, and they give you great portions. Their staff is very friendly and professional as well. We will be coming back!

Good food, good prices, and decent enough service. Forgot a few things, but it wasnt that big of a deal. Service was quick though, and the portions were rather large.

Great place for lunch or dinner. Very generous portions compared to the other guys. The pork was excellent.

Hands down best Hawaiian food in the area! They have some competition, but this is by far more better! ; Just their take on Mac salad and rice is enough to keep coming back! I recommend trying a little bit of everything.

So disappointed in this location! We have eaten here the first time in person and loved the food! But we don’t live close so the last two times we’ve ordered have been through DoorDash then online to pick up. Each time they have messed up our order and driving 40 minutes round trip to get it right has been so frustrating! The first time they gave us totally different meats than we ordered, and tonight I placed an order online so my husband could pick it up, and instead of following the order exactly as I placed it, they asked him which sauces he wanted and he did not know what the rest of us wanted, so now we have a huge thing of Katsu chicken with no katsu sauce which completely defeats the point. I double checked my order and the katsu sauce was in fact specified on there. We are done ordering takeout from here from now on, unfortunately!

Saturday lunch mixed bbq meat platter picked up drive through. My wife had a mini meal. Pricey. No sauces and I ask for 6 of them. The meat was over cooked and I really needed those sauces. You can literally cross the street to all you eat for 10 bucks. So long Lo Los.

Paid 19 dollars for two items and didnt get a single sauce. Not even one katsu sauce for chicken or anything to dip the shrimp. Food is okay at best. Wont be going back

Phone didn’t work so went to order food to go ordered and waited 35 for food and guy came in after me and ordered 8 boxes of food and I’m still waiting had to get my money back good food but wow off there game

Be careful if you eat here, you will need a nap after! Lol. The service was amazing, our food came out quick. The flavor was incredible, the portions were generous.My family and I will definitely be returning!

My husband and I on Friday night called to make sure they were still open. The girl who answered the phone tried to tell us they were not open even though on the website it said they were.She got upset and said you cant come in lobby you have to go to the drive thru!! And hung up on me.We decided not to go there to eat Theyre because of her unprofessional behavior And how rude she was. The other reason we did not go there was for fear that she would do something to our food. We were surprised to be treated in such a rude manner.We have gone there several times and been treated very good but because of this girl tonight I give her not even one star the rest of the store I give them 5 starsAnna

Service was great. Portions are always generous. With all due respect second best Hawaiian food spot in Northern Utah.

Great traditional Hawaiian dishes. Large portion sizes. Fast service. Drive through option. Clean dining area.

A random stop off during my road trip landed me here and I am so happy. The person taking my order was so kind. Service was fast and efficient. I feel I paid too little for what ordered. Katsu chicken was hot and crisp and the bbq chicken was juicy. Macaroni salad was the best I have had in a long time. Fresh cabbage and a huge portion of rice made this enough for 2-3 people.

I love Lolo but this was our first time at this location. The building didnt have a big sign, but it was easy enough to find. Just make sure to ask for the sauces that go with your meat choices -- this location doesnt include them automatically for some reason. We got ours to go and didnt realize until we were home we had no teriyaki for our chicken and no katsu sauce. I always keep teriyaki around, so that was fine, but I dont have katsu sauce at home so it was definately missing an element and dry.I also noticed the portion sizes are far smaller at this location than the other in West Valley. Its still plenty for one meal, for sure, but its something we both noticed.Overall I would come back but I want to try Dakine Grindz on Roy first. We would have went there but theyre closed on Sunday so we went with LoLo. They have good food, but this location seems chintzy not even giving you sauce, so its a 3.

Greatness! Hesitated for awhile about this place but theyre great. Had the pork katsu, fire chicken, and BBQ beef and they were all great. Good flavor, lots of food, and it all tasted great. The prices were actually good for the amount of food you get. They actually gave you a decent amount of shrimp too. Others give you two or maybe three. They have a wide selection of meats and styles so youll likely find your favorites.

They have some really good teriyaki chicken. Its a little bit of an addiction and probably too close to my home. We may be eating there a little too often but they satisfy the cravings.

Training new person so drive thru took forever. Decent food. Definitely not my favorite hawaiin food but it was okay. Pork was the best.

The food was good, however the cashier was less than pleasant & it seemed to be an inconvenience to give us plastic ware & sauce. The only table that was available was dirty so we cleaned it ourself & both trash cans were full. A better attitude from the cashier & attention to detail is needed.

Staff was friendly and super fast! DELICIOUS food! Im a bigger guy & got the full plate, then still broke it up into 2 meals. Wife and Daughter were very happy.

Had a fantastic meal yesterday.The teriyaki chicken was excellent as usual and I tried the fire chicken for the first time. It was the perfect mixture of heat and flavor. Not really hot just warm lava.On top of that, the young lady at the counter was really fun. I appreciated her humor I guess.We’ve struggled at this location to make sure we have the requested sauces. This time they were spot on.Thanks guys.

Super job guys! Ive traveled to Hawaii many times and had the local food. This takes me back to when I was there. I had the BBQ Hawaiian Chicken, white rice, and Mac Salad. On point! Plenty of food. Enough for 2 meals! Great food and SUPERB SERVICE!

Surprisingly good and varied fast food. Also curbside pickup for online orders.The Fire Island chicken is so moist, with a nice kick, but not like super hot. The kalbi ribs have as much meat as a steak.Love the macaroni salad. Reminds me more of my moms then a typical fast food product.Lots of mix and match ordering options.

Usually excellent. However when I ordered out today I had no sauce at all for my meats, none on them or to dip them. This is pretty important to me. It wouldn’t usually be a problem but my schedule is pretty tight with work so when I order I need to just pick it up and head right back. Please try to have sauces in the bag for pickup orders

Being from Hawaii I love Hawaiian food and Lolos has never disappointed me. The food is always good and takes me back to the islands. The only complaint is that it is a little pricey but they give you so much food it could easily be 2 separate meals.

Food is really good! The choices are by far the best Ive seen in town. Flavors are spot on! I would recommend visiting here for a take out or dine even for a quick bite. They are really fast, with food always hot. (Not spicy, unless you request.)

I ordered a 3 plate meal with White Fish x2 & the Fire Chicken. There was sauce all over the container & I only got 1 piece of fish where I shouldve gotten 4-6 pieces. Mind you I paid EXTRA for the fish & got 1 piece. Called the store & the shift supervisor told me I could come in & they would offer me 1 piece of fish! 1 piece for a $20 meal! Ridiculous! Customer Service SUCKED! I actually really like their food but Ill think twice about ordering from them again.

Hubs and I have never had Hawaiian and I’m so glad we drove around and found this gem. We ordered the seafood plate, spam mush I and gyoza. The chicken that comes with the seafood plate is AMAZING. Being from the south, we rarely find food places that know what to do with dark meat chicken but these guys made it flavorful and perfect! Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. Great job LoLo BBQ!!

ordered a teriyaki chicken plate didn’t come with rice or anything. Also got some beef musubi and this is how it came.. tried to call and have it fixed and they didn’t want to help..

Hawiian fire chicken meal. Absolutley fire! Macaroni bland. Served with white rice. Chicken isnt super spicy but is very good. Employees are helpful and nice!

Freaking delicious. I have had the BBQ and Teri chicken, Spicy chicken, Katsu, Kalua Pork, and BBQ Beef. Just a couple more things to try. All have been super good. Portions are Big Bruddah sized and are guaranteed to fill you up. So tasty. Spicy Chicken is one of my stand out favorites. I plan on being a regular. Wish I knew about the frequent feaster card before! Gonna have to bring all my co-workers.
