Long wait for overpriced poor tasting fast food. Avoid!

Nothing better than good ole fast food LJS deep fried fish and shrimps! Dining area was clean. Staff was friendly. Service was quick. Food was tasty. Root beer was cold! The staff definitely got a bell ring on my way out!

Best ever!!! Omg hot, fresh and very tasty. Fast friendly service I WILLbe back!

Horrible staff rude. The place was not clean at all. Floors sticky tables not cleaned the glass not cleaned the condiment station not clean.

Worst appearing and worst tasting meal Ive ever had from any Long John Silvers. I have loved going to these restaurants since I was a kid, and Ive been to them all over the country. I have never had a worse experience than this. The food looked really bad, but I gave it a shot because, well I love the place. It tasted absolutely horrendous and nothing like any of the other restaurants Ive ever been to. It was way overcooked and kind of tasted like its been sitting. I tried to go there the other day as well right after they were supposed to open but they were not open on time. The outside of the establishment looks really dingy and the menu board has apparently been broken for months if not longer. I can see why this place gets a lot of bad reviews, its unfortunate.

It was a good place to eat only problem I had was their was only one very nice older gentlemen working the store by him self. Food was average but for being by himself he did as good as he could.

I went here today and spent over $50 for cold food. The lady said it would be a couple of minutes, it ended up being 15 minutes. I thought since I waited 15 minutes it would be fresh and hot. NOT!!! Wont be back.

We had not been there for 2 years as it was very dirty. So we thought we would try again, no change. Tables were not cleaned off from previous customers, ketchup dispenser you had to pull up and down on to get ketchup, shrimp sauce tasteyd like ketchup, chairs we sit in were sticky, fish was greasy over all it was very dirty.

06-2022- Its been two years and this is still my favorite location due to the staff. This visit Abby, Alyssa, and David made my pregnant day so much better! Its great to see that over the years this location continues to have employees who are very polite.2020-I love this location. Dont get me wrong it was a little of a wait, but over all Im always impressed with the staff at this location. Food is always hot, and the staff is very polite and well mannered.

This place dont even deserve one star went there to eat when inside I stayed there for 15 minutes and there wasnt one person in sight I go to leaves got in my car and they come running out to my car asked me to come back here

I used to like this place but not anymore went there a few months ago and they only had one person working their and he seemed like he was stressed or something and the food he made was soggy and gross it wasnt cooked all the way I rather go to culvers than people who dont know how to cook at long John silvers

Id say horrible but still wouldnt cover the dissatisfaction I have with this place.. menu boards are missing or broken. Staff is rude and dismissive. They seem to cancel every door dash order and they never seem to actually want to do the job they are paid to do.. worst LJS location.. this store used to be the best in the area now its like they just dont care and cant be bothered ..

Website says open til 10, sign on the door says 9. Doors open, lights on, open sign on and yet at 8:12 you tell me youre closed?? Wasted my time coming out of my way there to be refused service. Hopefully management will contact me soon or I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and corporate.

1/20/22 Went there again tonight after work (8:15pm), 2 heavy set girls come out saying theyre closed then get in their car without locking the store doors and just sit there. We finally leave, circle the lot and then they are back inside laughing and carrying on.12/15/21 Seems like they make up their own hours of business. Google says they close at 10pm. Tried to get some fish tonight after work (I get off at 8pm), you could see someone in there cleaning the lobby but "due to technical difficulty" the person couldnt take our order through the drive thru. Pass there all the time when I get off work and it always looks like its closed before 10. That seems like a lot of "technical difficulty". Seeing another review saying that theres a sign saying they close at 9pm....then why are you closing at 8????? Sounds like they just want to close up early and go home, no need to make excuses for your laziness. Just calling it like I see it.

Food was fresh staff was dull and dont carry change for big bills I had to leave break a bill and return by then my food was ready

Burgers were okay. Ice cream swirls were almost milk with MnMs. Fish was very greasy. The place smelled like old grease and the floor was sticky. Staff was friendly but bickering behind the counter. Disappointed in this location as our experience at other locations have been much better.

Each and every time I go there they never have their grilled fish options available whats the point of putting it on the menu if youre never going to have it

Love the food here! My husband and I were in Leavenworth because he was officiating a graveside service at Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery of a dear family friend and we stopped here to eat. The staff here were awesome! They were so nice and friendly and made sure we were taken care (we had to spend hours there because the keys to the car we were in got locked in the trunk).When we go back to Leavenworth, we will be visiting this establishment. 💞

The food wasnt bad. Fries were fresh and the burger was good. If you dont know what you want, look up a menu before you get there. Their drive thru menu is trash. Half of it is missing the other half you could barely read cause there were no lights in them.

Had a good experience here. Food runner was cool. And the person I ordered with was cool too. It was pretty quiet inside too.

Got 2 3 peace shrimp and a crab cake for a family member and they like it soo yea I cant say anything about it Im allergic to seafood.

The family visited this location on a late Saturday afternoon. One of the people I. The party went directly to the Mc Donalds next door. He walked over, ordered, ate his lunch and returned before this location was able to get our 5 orders entered in the computer. They were out of quite a few items and I get that with all the shortages but the four of them struggled with everything. This wes the worse place I have visited in several years. Sorry.

Ordered for myself only. Bill total $17.94. The fish was not completely cooked. A paste seeping through the batter and coated my other food items. The only eatible item out of 4 was one, coleslaw in its own container sealed from the gooey paste. At the window I had to exchange my drink because it was without bib syrup leaving carbon water. Most dissatisfied I have been in years of restaurant food. Called the manager and he said that I was the only complaint. No longer getting my business.

I dont normally post negative reviews because I like to give servers & employees the benefit of the doubt but whoever was taking orders on drive thru today was a major ahole. This is our first time at LJS so we looked up the menu ahead of time online. We tried to order grilled salmon tacos but was told they dont have that. Thats fine. So then we asked if they had grilled shrimp. Also no. Just fried shrimp. Each time the attitude just increasing a bit. By the time my husband asked if there was shrimp taco the employee exploded saying, "Thats what Im telling you! No grilled shrimp! No shrimp taco!"Our bad for not knowing your menu well and maybe you were having a rough day, but my husband didnt deserve the bad attitude. Not that you care, but this kind of "service" would prevent anyone from coming back to you business.

Staff was friendly, unfortunately they have a very dirty lobby and kitchen. Food tasted old, greasy and like the oil hasnt been changed in the fryer in a few months.

Horrible service. Rootbeer tasted like duet. French fries i got were like 10....i keep trying to give this place a chance. But they make it easy to stay away.

The employees dont help this chain stay afloat any longer. Pulled up and orders 2 fish and chicken meals and a fish and shrimp platter. Now although it states both at the restaurant and on google its open til 10 and its 8:45p.m. I was told " this is all made to order and we close in like 15 minutes soooo do you really want it?". I wanted to say alot of thing back but decided to drive off and dont think I will ever return. If I didnt want it, I wouldnt have come. Just admit you dont want to work and close the store.

Slow service with a 20 minute wait for my food which they burned. 18 bucks wasted. Did not figure it out until I got home 30 minutes away. This place has gone from bad to a total disgrace. Do not waste your time and money going there. Really bad..serious.

Understaffed and the dine in area was closed because of it. We were told ahead of time in the drive through it could 10 to 15 minutes to get our order. I understand having staffing issues, but at least they could have put up a sign on the door saying the dine in area is closed or an explanation of being understaffed. We watched multiple people go to the doors to go in, just to go back to their cars. Food tasted great, and didnt take terribly long to get.

I personally love this place. I love the fish and chicken, little greasy but what do you expect from fried food, nothing a paper towel dab cant fix. The staff is friendly and was nice enough to tell us, before ordering, that they were short handed so it might take longer to fill our order. Definitely going there again!

Great Fresh Food. Ever so so slightly under-cooked. Go when its sort of busy. Dont go at close or down time. Sweet red haired girl didnt catch her name. They close early sometimes for "computer problems". Appears to be only one person working at night. % stars for effort and quality tonight.

Ive never had my fish hard and rubbery before. I was not impressed with the food today. My son had more fries 🍟 with his kids meal than I had. The coleslaw was tasty and fresh. Not going out of my way to visit here again.

Food is always hot & fresh. Only downside is this location is very poorly maintained. Order screen is broken, signs dont work properly, & the inside is just filthy. Employees are great though! We just stick to drive thru.

Average food, service in the drive thru was horrible!! I actually left because we waited in line for almost 25 minutes (for 2 vehicles in front of me to order), and when we got to the speaker I was told over the speaker “you have time to figure out what you want, it’s going to be while”! Wow unacceptable and a great way to lose your customers!! Every time I go to the LV location, I realize why I only go there once a year at most!!!UPDATE: I did go back and I’m not sure if there is new management or what....food is actually much better and service was a 100% improved!!

Fries were way over cooked. Fish didnt have much flavor. Coleslaw was watered down, not much flavor to it. Not worth what I paid. Also, the soda was watered down. Didnt taste like Dr Pepper at all.

The fish was greasy and the shrimp was very dry. We ordered 3 extra pieces of fish and didnt receive them. We had to drive back and get the fish we paid for.

We had never been to this location and the inside of the resteraunt was a disgusting mess. There is NO reason for it when NO- ONE has even dined in ... In months. But more importantly the food was not edible ... The oil was beyond burned.

Dirty, and the way the Mgr. treated the employees I can see why it was so dirty. I love the fish they make and the old fashioned Beer they have, but the one in Leavenworth Kansas is worthless, and i cant afford to get sick in order to have a good meal

Ordered super sampler to go which has 1 fish 1 chicken 3 shrimp about 16 popcorn shrimp 2 sides Cole slaw Green beans and hush puppies. When I opened it at home there was no hush puppies and I was asked if I wanted any sauces and asked for tartar and cocktail sauce none in the box. The food I got was good but could have been better with the sauces.

We waited in line in the Drive-Thru for over 20 minutes. when we did receive the food we were shorted on the amount, and never received a receipt to compare the the charges due to being overcharged. If I could give this establishment zero Stars I would do not go here.

Wow. Just wow...and not in a good way as far as food. The service was awesome. The gentleman that served me was polite, well kept, fast and efficient. I ordered a RB float and it was ready by the time my card went through. However, I ordered a combo. 2 fish, 1 chicken and 4 shrimp with 2 sides...I doubled up on Cole slaw. Its always been a fave of mine from here. I asked for lemon. None. They were out. Ok...malt vin it is. I was so looking forward to this! I dont eat fried food often and this is my go to if and when I do. My food came up fast. I picked it up and was kinda leary about it. It was fried pretty well done...looked like it was cooked in old oil to be honest. It was. Clearly visible by the old fry crusties from other orders. I tried the slaw. Good but not AS good as it usually is...but edible. The shrimp, chicken and fish were all overdone though. Grease was the moisture from it, not natural juices. I was hungry though...so I ate the chicken and shrimp but just couldnt do the fish so I brought it to the attention of the service guy and he easily switched out the fish for me. Like I said. Great service. The new piece wasnt much better so I basically stuck to my perfect float. All in all. The staff is amazing. They seem to be doing their best but from a customers side? The place needs an overhaul. Grease for trying was old. The service area/condiments area was disgusting and old. Not really clean or sanitized. Usually I take pictures but in truth dont want the staff spanked for what corporate owners should be responsible for. New equipment and presentation of. So yes...the service was great. No...the quality of food was way down. Its sad because I used to love this place! I hope changes are made to fix this.

Service was great!The Condiment station features out of service napkin dispensers that have hand written notes "not trash" and the real napkin dispensers are hidden directly beside this station in plain sight... the dining room floors are slick like ice, likely due to grease.My food came out fast and fresh and everything tasted like it should.

Employee was rude, unattentive, unprofessional. Food was normal. Inside this restaurant is very dangerous. The floors are extremely slick from grease creating a major slip and fall hazard and thats wearing non skid approved soles!I could not in conscience bring anyone inside without fear for their health and well being.So here I am 11 months later. Someone paid attention. Floors are clean and grease free. Staff was much more attentive and pleasant.

Courteous employees, quick service. My husbands favorite place to eat much to the chagrin of the kids. Luckily it is also an A&W so the kids not only got their burgers and fries (which they declared deliciousthey also were amazed that A&W was the first drive-in their parents ever knew.

I made the mistake of going the drive-thru way. Order fish and fries meal. Never again will I eat from this location. The fries had to be at least a hour old. It made me wonder, what kind of person would serve someone fries like the ones I received and what are they doing to other food items. I blame myself a little for not checking my order but why should I have to. I will never eat at this location again. Be careful at this location. Where is the pride in Ones work." The staff at the Leavenworth, KS franchise needs to be fired. I went through the drive thru at about 1300 on 14 August 2018. Initially they handed me the bag and as I was pulling away...remembered I never got my drink. So I went inside and grabbed it. Then when I got home to eat...I was missing the whole meal. When I went back to get the meal. All they did was handed me the meal. Didnt have a courtesy to discount the meal...add extra food for their mistake. Nothing. I wont be eating here again and I will spread the word about my unpleasant experience. Thanks A&W/Long John Silvers!

Went to the Drive Thru on a Wednesday night. Ordered 2 fish and chicken platters. Drove to work and opened my dinner. Both orders only had 2 1/2 pcs of chicken. Absolutely no "crunchies"... AND neither platter had any hushpuppies. Tried to call the restauraunt... and the phone only went to a fax machine. Wait time was terrible. We were the only car in line and only 1 other car in the parking lot. Staff was so rude.

Ive eaten at this location only a couple times and both times were absolutely horrible. The employees were very rude, I had ordered 2 pieces of chicken and fries. It was more like 1 and half pieces of chicken and literally received maybe 10 fries. I swore I wouldnt go back after that. Today though, my mom wanted their Baja tacos so this is where we went. I had a totally different experience today, I went through the drive thru and placed my order with Scott who was very friendly and professional. I pulled up to the window and was greeted by such a sweet woman (sorry I didnt get her nameanyways, she was awesome and super friendly! Not once did she cop an attitude when we asked for vinegar and napkins. She was happy to do so and even gave us extra. After we left I was worried about how our food was going to look considering the last time I was here it was definitely not up to par, but....our food looked awesome, tasted good, and was HOT! I dont know what changed but Im glad it did. Awesome experience this time around!! Thank you Scott and thank you to the sweet sweet lady at the drive thru window :)

My friend had gotten a chicken sandwich and the sandwich was raw!!!! It looked like they put it on the grill and instantly flipped it over then put it on the bun. Really? Horrible place and we was just there!!!!
