Los Amigos Mexican Restaurant in Huntington County

We go there every time we camp nearby. Great food! Wonderful Margaritas. That shrimp cocktail was out of this world. The camarone al la Diablo! So many shrimp. Great service and beautiful presentation of the food when its served.

Ok food.. margaritas good and priced affordable

Delicious and at a good price point. California style burrito was huge! Even took some home. Chori Queso was different from other places, not the creamy queso, lots of meat with melted cheese on top. When I ordered it the server said it was awesome, and it was Awesome!

Closed during published open business hours. Doors were locked with patrons still inside eating. Theyre nothing special so we arent missing out. Chavas, on the north side of Huntington, is sooo much better. They have always had great service, incredible food and are never closed during published open business hours. We will not be returning to Los Amigos, nor will we recommend them. We will also inform others about their poor business practice.

Try the volcano...its pretty spicy but very good and its enough for 2 people

I love their food every time I go. My only minor issue/complaint is that the past cpl times Ive gotten the ground beef enchiladas, theyre really dry and crumbly. Of course ground beef is crumbly, but usually in an enchilada the meat is combined with a little bit of sauce and/or cheese. This helps the enchilada hold together nicely and adds more flavor throughout. The sauce on this entree at Los Amigos is really light/minimal and only on the outside of the tortilla. Theyre still good, regardless, but theyre so much more flavorful and easier to eat when theres more sauce. I just use some of the delicious salsa to make the dish less dry.

We are staying at a nearby RV park and I picked this place for my birthday dinner. There is large menu to choose from. Service was fast and the food was very good. So was the marguerita. Would eat there again.

We got 2 cheese quesadillas, 1 chicken quesadilla, queso, chips and salsa for less than $14! And foor was delicious!

Food is good, but they dont serve coffee

I spend the weekend with my buddys place. We wanted a places to eat so we stopped here. We ate at this restaurant many times in the past. As usual food food and service and price were all good. No complaints. Check it out

Best Mexican food in this side of town. They have tamales, enchiladas ,burritos, chalupas, quesadillas, nachos ,domestic beer, and they also have really really really good margaritas. Communication was tough just got out of seemed like there given our order and then what we got wasnt the same there was Mist items and items that werent right. But I mean for to be honest yeah its its okay

My family and I went to celebrate my son’s birthday and we had the best time. Service is always so good, even with our large group they anticipated our every need. The pico de gallo is my absolute favorite I’ve ever had and the way they season their food is so uniquely delicious. If you’re headed to Huntington look this place up!

I found this to be a pretty decent a Mexican restaurant for a small town. Good flavor, good salsa and queso. Most dishes are big enough to feed two. Worth a stop and would visit again.

Everything was fine till we found a roach. The only "remedy" was a free kids meal... where theres one theres more so just be aware.

Fast service despite being a really busy Friday night. Everyones food came out hot and correct. The fajita nachos were amazing! Refills were prompt.

This used to be one of the best restaurants in town. The food now is ok at best. Chips and salsa was great now awful. Glasses were dirty, table had a greasie film on it. Will not be eating there again.

This was the most disappointing experience I have ever had with a Mexican restaurant. We placed the order over the phone for pick up. We went 20 minutes after placing the order and still waited 35 minutes after arriving to pick up our order. They had us pay for our order and left us standing for 35 minutes for our order for take out. The employees waited on other customers while our food sat for 35 minutes. We live 3 minutes away and our cheese was cold the chicken tacos were cold and not made how we ordered. I am displeased with this experience and will not return. I wanted to try something other than Mecates but that was a horrible idea. This is equivalent to the horrible experience at the new Yamatos in town. Please do better for your other customers!

Very fast and delicious food. The waiting staff is not the very friendly but they are not rude. I would say it is a very reliable place to eat in Huntington you will always get the same quality.

A great value with limited competition, this is a great spot for Mexican food with the best value in town. I do consider Mecates across town superior for taste, but this place is hard to beat for the money. Service is always incredibly snappy, and the food is good without being too distinct.

Went to this place by invitation after church and was greatly impressed by good food, efficient service, very reasonable prices, apparently well liked by the community. Not a decor palace, homespun value and very nice people. My favorite type of business to patronize.

Ehh bah. Tomato sauce only salsa. Seriously looks and taste like they only added salt. Had burritos deluxe. It was blan. Also felt hurried to order. I’d never been here before. These guys aren’t even close to the quality of Chava’s I eat at Chava’s at least twice a week and have never had a bad dish.

The service was a little slow tonight, but its understandable because of this silly virus. The food, however, was outstanding and very much worth the wait. The shrimp burrito I ordered was somewhat small, but it was delicious. It was worth the wait. I sincerely hope that Los Amigos will not be a causality of this pandemic. I hope they can pull through. Ive always loved their food and the staff is always friendly. Bravo Los Amigos.

Great food and prices! Great service other than the lady. She always seems confused but everyone else is nice and give great service. The fajita quesadillas are amazing!!
