Been a loyal patron for years and Tim & Tony Gouvas have always been great to both their customers and the community. Louies Pizza is an institution and one of the few legendary institutions left in a sadly inevitably changing town- GO here! I cant say enough good things about Louies Pizza, the level of quality is exceptional because theyre concentrated on their one classic location close to the beach (as opposed to opening multiple locations like other beach-centric pizza places do)- if youre thinking of visiting a pizza place in downtown Rehoboth, theres only one choice: Louies Pizza.

My family and I have been going to Louies since I was 10... Im now 57. We schedule at least 2 trips there during our vacation.Love the grinders, with oil and mayo and the pizza is the best around.

Ham grinder has been my favorite sandwich of all time for 20 years. I don’t make it out often but when family does they always bring me back one. Still tastes perfect after the 3 hour car ride!!! Love you!!!!!!

At least twice during our week long stay we go to Louies. Same as it was 30 plus years ago when I was a kid!! Grinders are awesome too

Went to Rehoboth Beach for a some fun and Im glad I did. Visiting the boardwalk looking for a good philly cheese sandwich and found this place. Ordered the chicken philly cheesesteak and it was delicious. Will definitely be back. 😊

Great sandwiches!... Have a little more patience than normally to expect your food and it will be worth it.

Ive been going to Louies for 40 years. I have always liked their Subs and Pizza. Recently it has become impossible to get a sub the way you want it with toppings you want Etc.

Fast, friendly and honest despite the busy Memorial Day crowds. Fries here are better than Thrashers, just sayin.

I debated leaving a review. I can’t let this go, must warn people vacationing close to here. We traveled here to see the ocean while on vacation. We live right at a 1000 miles away and myself, I have had great pizza all up the northeast from Maryland to Maine. My wife is from Boston so we know good pizza. With saying this I’ve never had pizza this bad. If I had to compare the taste of it to another pizza, it would be maybe the taste of a totinos party pizza? I’m not exaggerating or trying to be mean or a pizza guru, but sadly I’ve had way better pizza at a gas station that has sit under a heat lamp all day in the middle of the Midwest, off a lonely interstate, in the middle of nowhere. We both cannot understand being on the east coast how this pizza place stays in business? Do yourself a favor and pass this place up. This is now our saying when we try pizza anywhere, it has to be better than Louie’s pizza on the beach in Delaware.

I worked here in the late 80 s through the early 90s. I was treated like family. Grinders and pizza are a must!

Today on May 6, 2022, my husband ordered 2 slices of pizza for us for takeout, 10 minutes to pick up. I arrive in walking distance to pick up the pizza order 10 minutes later, it wasn’t ready so I paid and just waited, another 10 minutes or so goes by and other customers are being taken care of , I’m just waiting where they can see me. So finally I ask where are my slices and the cashier which was the only female at the time claims i didn’t pay already, mind you she watched me pay and I even tipped them .Bad service and experience will not come back again.

Great pizza been going there since I was a kid sat inside to eat today waitress Christie boxed up our food put her bare hands on our pizza like who does that after she wiped off tables she was a horrible waitress never will sit inside again

Wife and brother in law had a Louie special. Liked it a lot, good crust and flavorful. I had a cheeseburger, nice size burger, fresh toppings good bun.It was a simple lunch, no extra sides because there was caramel corn right next door for dessert. 😁Service was quick and friendly. Give them a try.

The staff was great! I need to try their Grinders and burgers and other menu items before I can give a full review.

Always Great food from this place.we always stop by on the way home.this time was a little bit different.As I walked up to place my order another customer warned me about the negative attitude of the cashier.I placed my order and sure enough the redheaded young lady took my order and was very rude throughout the process.hopefully this person cheers up or moves to another job.definitely not professional service

Louies Pizza is and always has been the best pizza in all of Delaware. Dont sleep on the cheese fries either, way better than the overhyped fry place across the street.

As a shirtless, sandy, hungry beachgoer in search of a decent lunch with some semblance of nutritional value, this place is it.As a serious food critic, I can’t think of a more atrocious crime than making a sub without Mayo.

Always dependable for a solid cheese steak sub! Support local businesses and check them out if youre in the area. They have way better food than some of the chains around them.

Surprisingly decent. Ordered takeout as the dining room was not open due to staffing. Got the Louie’s pizza and a salad and both were better than expected. Pizza has a pan pizza vibe. Would order again for a quick boardwalk meal!

Don’t go for pizza, order the grinders! Pizza tastes like school cafeteria frozen. Said dough is made fresh daily but no way, pizza sauce was bland cheese was minimal. Chicken grinder however was Awesome and service was friendly and quick. Would not get pizza again.

The food was good. My husband had a sub and I had a gyro. The woman at the register was not very nice. Customer service tells a lot about an establishment.

We have been going to Louies Pizzs for over 40 years. It has been a place we would go to at least 3 times during our week stay at Rehoboth. Last year the grinders tasted a little different I believe they changed the bread. But still pretty good. They also made an error on our order which was frustrating with no apology. This year the pizza tasted like frozen box pizza. I was told by the manager due to staffing they pre make the pizzas( sauce and cheese them ahead of time). We asked for a special pizza with half cheese due to a dairy issue with our son. When the staff asked the manager he said no . When he explained the isxue we heard the msnager say "not my problem" Our family is really saddened that this landmark establishment has depreciated so much.

Better than Grottos (not a high bar). Greasy but tastes like it came out of an oven, in fact, you can see it coming out of the oven – cant say the same for some of the other places around here

Great mom and pop shop to have a quick slice to go!! This place has been here since I was a kid. They have been here since the 70s and still remain friendly and faithful to there customers. There pizza is great and location is perfect only steps to the beach. Reccomend getting a small pizza to split with a friend its only $6 and some change. Also reccomend there cheese steaks as they are very popular around town. Check them out and support a local small business.

Great food but not consistent. Their pizza crust is amazing. My favorite in Rehoboth Beach. The topping selection is limited but good. My only thing is the toppings and cheese quantity depending on who’s making it, I guess. I ordered a half olive pizza and olives were only on a quarter or so of the pizza. We ordered a veggie pizza twice. Once had a ton of veggies and the second time not enough. Was still good but I never knew what I was going to get.

So this is your classic mom and pop, where the locals go, little Surfside pizzeria and its where my wife and I will go whenever we are craving beach fries, pizza and their famous Italian Grinder. There is no secret sauces or linen tablecloths, just good food in a cozy place.

Pizza, grinders, and the staff cant be beat! Perfect beach stop over...every single time. I have to say the fries used to be better/crispier, but the last couple times the quality has gone down a little. Still top of my list for every trip to the beach!

My parents favorite Rehoboth pizza restaurant, Louies was our frequent Sunday visit after Mass.From the mid 1970s to just a few years ago, my parents developed a friendly familiarity with Louie.But they cant travel anymore, so today -- a beautiful September Saturday -- I loaded up the dog and drove from Newark.The plan...to grab a large cheese pizza to surprise them.But the challenge? Due to an injury, Im walking with crutches.I got lucky. The manager was up front, and agreed to trade their fresh but not hot slice pie for my pie coming out of the oven. (That allowed me to carry it under my arm...)I also grabbed two slices -- one mushroom, one pepperoni -- to split for lunch.Very good. Louies really does make a very good pizza.Look at the photo. Have you ever seen a slice pie loaded with pepperoni or mushrooms like that?Thanks for helping make my two senior citizen parents happy, Louies.We will be back soon.

The pizza was good but not the best. I love the cheese and sauce but the crust was just ok.The restaurant had 2 ladies who waitered the tables and they seem very overwhelmed which made them very forgetful. If only they could stay more focused and organized, they would be more capable of handling the busy crowds.

Fabulous subs & pizza. Small family owned eat-in/carry out pizza place just off of the Rehoboth Beach boardwalk. Everything you want from this kind of food... Cheesy, gooey goodness yet with a fabulous chewy crisp crust & not too sweet sauce. Cheeseburger sub is just as good. One of my go-to places.
