Always my choice over home depot :)
Been years since Ive been at a Lowes... lack of need. I recently visited and was completely satisfied. Great, knowledgeable customer service and excellent experience. Even took the time to open a Lowes card account with a more than helpful clerk. I will be back!
What can I say about this Lowes its just like any other when you cant find something that you need its harder trying to find a employee to help you find that product that you need I will try to avoid lows as much as I can and I was not very satisfied with their customer service when a 1/2 hour went by and he couldnt tell me the difference from a screw to a light fixtures. I gave up and went to a mom and pop hardware store. Thanks Jim Grant
Clean professional store, easy to find what youre looking for.
Try calling Lowes customer - their tone and response will make you run and never comeback.
Curbside pickup spot 5 at 11:30ish. Tracy brought my items out to me which were 6 40lb bags of salt. And bless her heart she loaded them for me. Thank you Tracy.
Very friendly knowledgeable staff. I found everything I was looking for. Also conveniently located for other shopping
Update 2022: The stock and prices are not as good as Home Depot but the store is much better organized and updated now when compared. The staff or more friendly and ready to help.Old Review: Prices generally are more expensive than the other big box stores, the staff are not very helpful, the organization of the store is pretty poor and the selection is much worse.
Sales associate on floor directed me and advised me on a product without me having to ask for help
Checking for snow shovels....none in yet. Bought some weed killer and a mop. During checkout, could not use Google Pay.....🤔.Update: top soil x4 bags, 2 LED shop lights, ad a screen replacement for slide screen door. Good safe. Eleni was very nice at checkout and was patient with me...used my military discount. Very Cool. Also got to park in a Veterans Parking spot...super cool. 😎🇺🇲Update 9/30/2022: at checkout, they still do not have the option to Touch Pay.... (i.e. Google, Apple, etc.)
It took 4 months for my family to order our cabinents for our kitchen. It isn’t a small investment and we wanted to be sure of the design and product. Brandon was amazing! I must have met with him 4 times or so. Not once did he make me feel like I was a waste of time or he thought I wouldn’t purchase. He was professional, accommodating and a pleasure to work with. My only complaint is that a manager should never correct an employee in front of a customer in a condescending way, not make an assumption a customer won’t get approved for a credit card. The assistant manager was the least professional employee I dealt.Thank you a random for working with us.
I think that most of the Lowes locations customer service has gone downhill in the last few years. Looking for help? Forget it, if an employee looks at you and you appear to be about to ask a question, they are suddenly busy in another direction. Plenty of people out on the floor, just not interested in helping you find anything. Plan to wait in line for a while. Theres probably only 2 registers open.
I was on the West Shore and wanted to stop in to check out outdoor furniture. The selection was not really there and outdoor furniture is so expensive now!!!! They had a great selection of Halloween items with Christmas waiting on skids on the other side of the aisle. Please can we not have two months of Christmas! Anyway, I do feel like for some better stuff I prefer Lowes over Home Depot but not for a lot of things. I have begun to shop both stores now to find what I need.
Always a pleasure going into this store. Staff is always friendly and helpful. If they dont know where to find it they even ask other associates for help, which is great
There are three handicap carts. One has been out of order for several months. If you are lucky to get one of the other two, it probably isn’t charged enough to get past the middle of the store. And if you are lucky enough to get one of the two, and it is changed, you get a 50-50 chance to get the one that a baby crawls faster than what it goes. Seems like Lowe’s doesn’t care about its handicapped customers. Just look at how the parking lot is set up. Spaces are far from the entrances. You list out on a sale today because I had to turn around and drive to Home Depot. I am going to change who my first choice will be since Home Depot seems to care more about its handicapped customers.
I was helped by associate Kayla Mcneal at5500 Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050 store. She was Wonderful helping me out. I have never seen an associate so much into her job. She was suggesting always thinking on how good she can help me order my blinds for the entire house. She made sure I am happy with my purchase. Couldn’t thank her enough for the experience she has given me. Thanks to Kayla and lowes for making life easier with the dedicated work you do.
I almost never find exactly what I’m looking for lately having searched online and checked stock, but thankfully Home Depot is next door on the Carlisle Pike. Passed several employees multiple times without ever being asked if I needed any assistance.. not necessarily their immediate need to cater to me, but it feels worth noting.
I work at this Lowe’s, and I’m about to make some poor reviews about y’all customers. 🤷🏼♀️
Hit or miss with friendly staff. Its usually the young people who are more eager to help.
Connor was a tremendous help when we purchased shower doors. Very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable.
Worst delivery services. Easy reply it’s third party. I don’t understand this answer when I paid you and should get best services from you. But you don’t need customers . I will never ever go lowes again…….
I dont recall another time that I was treated with such disrespect multiple times by different employees. I had gone into this Lowes two different times with inquiry questions about adding Trex decking. Both times when interacting with their Pro Service people they were very condescending and dismissive of me. The first experience I asked a worker (who wasnt doing anything at the timeabout keeping the original decking boards before laying down the Trex. He had an agitated look on his face like I just ruined his day and quipped back with a sarcastic tone, "Do you want to fall through the boards?" Then he proceeded to begrudgingly give a few short responses before promptly leaving. I came back a few days later to check in on seeing if the Pro Desk could help create a blueprint of our deck based on our measurements as well as getting estimates on what the railing would cost. Instead the person I talked to said, "We cant make a blueprint, you should just do it online instead yourself." Then I talked to a different person at the Pro Desk, but he was in the middle of eating a sandwich at 2:30pm while working. He said "I will be able to help you after I finish my sandwich." So I asked him about the railing or to know how many composite decking screws he would recommend to use. He dismissed these comments and said "I dont even know what the measurements are." I had the measurements written out on a piece of paper right in front of him before he said this. I also had a very clear sketch of what the deck looked like and had many pictures from different angles of the decking just in case they needed it. However I noticed from the tone and atmosphere that I wasnt going to get any help from them. The only reason I am writing this review is in hopes that Lowes will improve their customer interactions in the future or convince other customers to avoid bringing your inquiries here unless you want to be talked down to.
I bought a dishwasher in May and in June the display board went out. Lowes had me call manufacturer and of course the board is on backorder. The unit fails in 35 days and we are now without a dishwasher for who knows how long. Lowes wont replace it, horrible customer service!
This place is a good place to buy supplies. There are not many people who can help with any inquiries. It is not the best lowes I have exper.
Roller shades by Coolaroo. Excellent
This Lowes always has a much better selection than the one in Carlisle.
Nice product sStaff are. Available and helpfulWe have had good pleasantExperience
The day before we placed our order Brandon in Window and Doors helped us with our selections. He ran from aisle to aisle showing us your products. He was just fantastic. When we came back the next day to place the order Brandon had the day off. Greg was there to take care of things. Both guys were just a joy to deal with!
Good staff and same Lowes as everywhere. All positive for this location!
The staffing is not what it once was. It has been difficult to find someone to answer questions. Everyone is "helping another customer", sometimes on the phone, sometimes when that customer is no where to be seen. Its been frustrating.
USA made Contractor grade 100 foot garden hose for $65.00. A little expensive, but bought one a month or so ago and needed another 100 feet. Will see if it lasts.Need to check country of origin on EVERYTHING. Too much Made in China inferior products that are overpriced!
Had a great experience this morning! 3 employees helped me/my purchase! Was hard to find, but they stepped up..good job
The Staff here is awesome. This is my go to for what I need for home repair. The only downside is that they sometimes charge a premium for the same product that Home Depot sells.
They generally have what you need... Pretty good store..
Lowes designs their stores to all be the same no matter which one youre at, and this one fits their mold of having a huge selection of items, decent customer service, and good prices. Youll find most everything here for home improvement including lumber, tools, flooring, lighting, paint, appliances, fencing, landscaping, plumbing, cabinets, and hardware.
If I could, I would give 0 star. The two women in the garden center were extremely unhelpful and condescending. Would never come back here.
Had bad experience 😕 at returns.Took care of my business, went to check out and asked for manager. He said: It never should have happened. He took care of everything. 😊
This location has the best employees! They are helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile for you. Easy to find what you are looking for at this location.
I usually prefer Lowes to Home Depot. On my last visit, however, I was very disappointed in their customer service.Having had knee replacement surgery just 3 days earlier, my wife dropped me at the entrance while she parked. I stood unsteadily until an associate passed. I stopped him and asked for a scooter, and he told me there was only 1 inside the door and it did not work. I asked about others, and he said XI guess someone else is using them." I asked if he could check, and he said he did not know where to look.By then, my wife had walked up. I told her what was said, so she went to the "customer service" desk she was also told that they "must be in use" and no offer was ?ade to check. Note: we frequently see these things left out in the lot, or at the exit. Nobody even looked. We left and went to Home Depot, on the other end of the lot. A scooter was charged and ready at the door.Although it is possible, or even likely that the two other scooters at Lowes were in use, how much effort does it take to call a cashier by the exit to look, or even to ask an associate to take 2 - 3 minutes to check the lot to accommodate an obviously handicapped customer? (Not very much. There was an available associate by the entrance (who I asked.)This was pure laziness and(or bad attitude. We will not patronize this particular Lowes ever again. Home Depot is just 1/10th mile away, and their associates seem to value their customers.Incidentally, we were shopping for a $1,000.00+ gazebo. This Lowes lost this sale. I suggest that staff be trained in customer appreciation. We pay your salaries, ultimately.
Typical big box hardware store, but marginally more expensive than Home Depot. Never seen to have what were looking for, but we always check it out, anyway.
Rude staff even more rude "management" Went in to get a rug and had a lowes 20 off coupon. But the manager melissa did not accept it stating that lowes doesnt take lowes coupons. Seems odd to me maybe if i had a homedepot coupon that would have worked. In any case she was very rude and unprofessional. When i asked for a number to call she pulled her cell phone out of her bra to give me the number. Pretty unprofessional and rather disgusting. Will not be going back to this lowes.
You always have to search for an employee to help you. They are rarely in their sections.I went in and bought a few thousand dollars worth of items. I wanted to save a little, so I went to the pro desk to have them run it through the q.s.p. The "pro" lied to me and said I cant use qsp unless I have a business credit card (Ive used it several timesand would not process my order unless I signed up for a credit card. For those of you who dont know, employees get a kick back for signing people up. So I did, just to save money. But, directly afterward, I called the pro at my normal lowes, and he informed me that everything the "pro" said was not correct, and qsp is for everyone. Thats pretty Shady, and somehow, this person was promoted to pro, scary...
I worked for Lowes for 12 years back in the day. Worked in the other Lowes in Mechanicsburg where Sams Club is now. For 5 years then transfered to the Lowes in Selinsgrove for 7 years. Anyways I went in and got some shelving and brackets and some screws. Chatted with a friendly hardware department employee. Then paid for my stuff and out the door. Cashier was friendly. And they are ready for Spring !!
Went to return a microwave. They had the one I wanted in their website "in store". When I went to get the one I wanted, they only had microwaves for $400 to $600. They did not have the $159 one in stock like their website said. I left.
Worst staff I have ever encountered!!!! I tried asking someone in the paint department where something was and she told me the wrong isle. I went back to her and she told me she did not have time to help me because she was taking pictures of an end cap.Paint staff rushed me with my paint order and got it wrong. I have never been anywhere where I was completely blown off as a customer and I literally only needed 3 things for an older women that I shop for because she can’t leave her house. I usually NEVER leave reviews like this but this place seriously needs to train their grouchy and unfriendly employees to treat people better. It’s not the customers fault they hate their job.
Love Lowes. Better prices than the Orange Store. Plus, you can get Military Discount with in line purchases, unlike the other place.Better merch, better lumber, and thank you for the Veteran only parking spots. Much appreciated. :-)
Not my preferred big box home store but sometimes Lowes has something the orange box store does not have. Prices about the same. Mostly the same stuff. Practically next door to each other. Just prefer orange over blue. More logical store layout. Generally cleaner and neater than Lowes.
Good service, good deals. Only went in for $13 worth of wood chips and came out with $500 worth of new kitchen sink setup and a credit card. They are crafty with the sales pitch of "You can save $130 if you get a Lowes card today".
At this location, the team members are always willing to go the extra mile to help you find what you need. I cant say that is the case at my closest location and the reason why I rather travel to get the continued service I receive. It is well stocked where I can find what I need for that last minute in an out trip Ive become accustomed to when dealing with home improvement projects. Thanks for completely standing out when other businesses alike allow their associates to blend in with unacceptable mediocrity.
Throughout the past 20 years of many home projects, including every year for a boatload of flowers, I have preferred to use Lowes. Within the last 2 months I have visited this location 4-5 times and EVERY visit the employees Ive encountered have been just miserable! I went to Home Depot today and of the 6 employees I encountered EVERY single one was pleasant, friendly and helpful.
