Falls were great. I want there in 25 years. Trailhead parking lot location is beyond ridiculous. Trail from parking lot to RR grade is crazy. Used to park along Rte 220. Loved biking the trail. Not a option anymore
Great hiking location
Good hike
We were there after a large storm the falls were full and the water was amazing.
Absolutely stunning
Nice hiking trails
Easy access and hike to the waterfall
Nice but LONG walk.
FYI. The trail is Very Steep and Difficult.
Quiet and beautiful. The hike can be strenuous especially back to your car. Go in spring when theres more water.
Crisp cool water on a hot day.
Great place to visit! The decline and return incline could be a little rough for some, but the falls make it worth it.
I was fortunate to hike there with a local hike leader, he took us to the waterfall and the Haystacks and showed us Brook Kedron after that, beautiful hike!!
East end parking for thru hiking the Loyalsock trail (59.2 miles). This is a great section of the trail also, Sones Pond, the Haystacks and Dutchman falls. Please practice LNT ( LEAVE NO TRACE If everyone does their share, places like this will remain beautiful and unspoiled.
Beautiful
Amazing trails and hiking. Loved 10 miles worth!!
Great for a family hike.
Path is really steep, hard for old bones to navigate. Worse coming back up..
One of the best hikes in PA!!!
Very cool waterfall! Nice way to start the loyalsock trail hike!
Nice place to visit
Great place to hang out for the day. Easy to hike to. A little more than 2 miles to the falls at Haystacks.
You used to pull off the side of the road to get back to Dutchman falls and the haystacks. Now you turn off, and go to a parking lot, with a bathroom, trail info sign, etc. This is much better. There are two trail options back to the haystacks. Loyalsock trail is steep going down to the creek, so come back by the old railroad grade.
Another beautiful waterfall in PA. Park at lot on Mead Rd. Take Loyalsock trail, about .25 mile.
Fun hiking location. The more difficult trail can be tricky at times. The trails are well marked so getting lost would be difficult. The Dutchman falls are beautiful and located close to the parking locations. The haystacks are a decent walk away. Overall the location is beautiful, and I would recommend it to anyone getting into hiking or someone who wants a relaxing walk through the forest and along the creek.
This trail is incredible, lovely and scenic. The elevation near the end of the trail (mile marker 45-53is rough. But also very rewarding!
Great place to go hiking, really enjoyed it. Beautiful views..
Awesome trail challenging climbs to some very nice scenery. Haystacks, waterfalls and lots of wildlife. Have fun, hike on.
Haystacks are a must see. Dont try to boulder hop during high water, if you fall in you WILL die.
