Magagura is a small township in a rural area and has few people. The place is mainly active on market days. The main agricultural produce is corn. Cofee is also grown nearby.The road to the township is fairly good but may be challenging during the rainy season.There are very few small buses from Songea town to the place but he quickest way to reach the area from Songea town is taking the Mbinga bound buses and drop at Matomondo, then hire a two wheeler which are always availabe, to the township.
