It is some kind of a fee of the robbers, but they leave the other part of the money to you.The woman who works on the reception is totally unprofessional. She yells at tourists and the other employees.I think that your hotel need to learn a lot about tourism and you must understand that you are not prepared for welcoming European guests that are drinking a lot of beer. You can not serve a Czech guy a beer in a small cup and get angry if he asks more.I am not recommending this hotel.

A beautiful and luxurious hotel. Quality of service at high level. The food is varied and delicious. Hygiene at an excellent level. Room cleaning on daily basis.Weak internet in the hotel, but it depends on the room position. Recommendation to bye a Tunisian internet card.The pool is perfectly clean and constantly takes care of. Sunbeds provided by the pool as well as for the beach.Snack bar by the pool, but almost exclusively drinks available at the bar.Crystal clear sea.Available activities: yoga, water polo, table tenis, archery. Entertainment for children at night too.Additional activities available along beach, which are paid for: paracute, driving ski jet, pirate boat,...Generali staff is pleasant and always ready to help. All staff speak some English.Stay in the hotel: 10 days and very satisfied.

Nice hotel, friendly stuff (especially when you tip them :))Lovely beach.The food was quite nice even after 1 week it is still the same.We tried the spa.I enjoyed it my partner wasnt so enthusiastic.The exchange office tried to rip me off a bit but after my claim they give me the money:))

Beverage choice during meals is limited, wifi is extremely erratic, beach is beautiful, but gate is open only until 6pm, air conditioning not available after 15 Sept. Otherwise good 5 star hotel, great staff, great location, excellent beach, typical animation

Weve just been there for 2 weeks and had a great time there. The hotel staff is very helpful, friendly and polite, at your service in any time (with the exception of a few). The rooms, the hotel interior, the pool and beach are kept clean and tidy, and a lot of effort is put into it by the staff. Great selection and variety of food. (my recommendation is just less spices on grilled food). Many thanks to the animation team, they were great. A special shout out to Ramos, a very friendly guy who tries to include everyone in the fun activities. All in all, a great vacation.

Great place,wonderful smiling staff,dedicated managers,tasty food and well maintained interiors and exteriors. Highly recommend.

Staff is friendly and reactive but overwhelmed and under effective. The hotel doesn’t deserve a 5 star.. maybe the restaurant does, good food and great chefs that took my health condition seriously and served me special food at every meal. The rooms are not deserving for a 5 star and the the hotel needs a lot of rework. If you’re looking for a calm 5 star this is not for you, you can find mini disco, Aqua gym in the middle of the pool and loud music. Maybe if you’re a family with kids and you want to entertain them this hotel can suit you better, else I won’t recommend it.

Hotel is ok for low cost people, absolutely not a 5*. Food was ok, rooms ok, problem are people working here, if you dont tip them every day, they really are ignoring you. and even two euro coin was not enough, they wanted paper euro only.

There is no zero in the Google evaluation, so I put one star. I advise anyone not to go to this hôtel because it is zero in all respects, especially the cleanliness and the workers. I am surprised by the hotel owners how they operate incompetent stuff It was a very bad experience. Wasn’t 5stars hotel .specially no have any service oh my goodness.

Terrible hotel - the room was full of antes!!!!Room service is horrible. Old dusty carpet with moldy smell. I cannot believe this is rated a 5 stars hotel it doesn’t even deserve a 2 stars hotel..

Fine people, lovely bars, the pool, sea, large room and a beautiful hotel architecture but...no evening animation shows and, worst of all, wi-fi at the reception worked about an hour during our one-week stay, which was a huge disappointment. Had it worked, I would give 5 stars.

The hotel was ok,the staff same way but the food was terrible ,and disgusting even a la carte the same thing not good…(no taste, they repeat the same foods for lunch and dinner,if i have to give a rate from 0 to 10 to the food:it’s big 0)…

It was a very bad experience,I took my parents there to spend a weekend, and it was the worst experience ever☹.The service is very bad, the rooms are so disgusting and ugly, people working at the reception charged us extra money for nothing and when we knew about it they did want to admit it.The food at the restaurant was very bad, the meat and fish were not well cooked, one of the salad smells bad, no respect for covid restrictions, the employees at the restaurant acted angry for no reason 😑!!Anyway i would never go back there, i dont recommend it at all,I would give 0 stars if it was possible!!What a shame 😔

This isn’t about the hotel and services relatedThis is about the Thalasso withinI would give zero stars if I canMy wife went there for our wedding, she requested a full body care from A to ZUnfortunately she got the worst experience of her life, lack of personnel, unorganized place and messed up service overall, not worth it even if they give 90% off it still not worth itThe lady doing her depilation was so incompetent that she ripped of the skin while waxing living her with marks that will remain there for everShe got there around 10am and only she was able to leave the place around 6 pmAfter the waxing she got into the shower and asked for towels, they answered we don’t have any at the momentA thalasso center with fewer towels and the list of this misery goes on and onAnd wish if after this infernal experience she was fully waxed with no hair left, but not and pictures will tell the story

Do not be mislead with the beautiful photos or outside view of the hotel. It was one of the worst experience I have ever had regarding service wise. Starting from reception and ending with restaurant service everything is really bad. The only thing what we enjoyed was the clean sea area. Even it is pretended to be 5 star, it is not and I am sure will not return to this hotel.Several times had issues with reception, one of the few was ordering a taxi to catch a train. The receptionist told that it will take 10-15 min taxi to arrive, after 40 min wait, he still said that taxi is on the way and we told that we would miss the train, but in the last minute with all stress managed to organize a taxi and we arrives basically the minute the train left.The restaurant service is really rude and do the service as if they are the boss of the place. Even though it was saying restaurant is open till 9.30 pm, we were not allowed to eat since they were claiming it was until 9 oclock. And they were very rude by saying we do not care if you want to talk to manager about it. We also had an issue at the A la carte restaurant. The snobbish service guy brought the starter with the main dish, and again they pretend that it is normal and we have to accept it!A lot of things need to change there. Lots of guests had issues with (thanks God we did not see onebig cockroaches in their rooms. Besides that we were terrified to hear the stories of the single ladies who visit the hotel. Apparantly if the service people see that you are alone, they would harass you asking your Facebook or they expect to have invitation to the room. We were so shocked with all of these. We just thing that it would be useful for others writing all the things and informing them.

A very nice hotel. Visitors can enjoy the stunning sun rise here. However, some facilities in the room should be maintained and fixed more often. For example, the door of some room may not be able to be closed smoothly.

Food is middle quality and recycled for next days. Beach access direct from hotel OK. Sun beds are not bad, some of them broken but others OK. Personal always fake smiling, if you ask about something (complain about smththey react defensively. Rooms are clean. Street cat were day at the restaurant...

spacious bedroom, big swimming pools.

Hotel is located near the city of Mahdijja, right next to the sandy beach. The hotel lobby is large and spacious, the main building has shops, an ATM, bars and restaurants. The interior neat and clean, typical style for this region. The architectural part is a plus - unfortunately the service at the reception is not always reliable and helpful... Unfortunately, the rooms differ significantly from the rest of the hotel, definitely need renovation. Equipment and furniture badly damaged, neglected bathroom, hair dryer hung on a construction screw. On the plus side is room service - daily cleaning, change of bed linen and towels. The main restaurant is very large, a lot of tables, however, seems to be not enough because sometimes there is a problem finding free place. The situation is similar with plates or cutlery - they are often missing. Restaurant service at a good level - most of the waiters are nice and reliable (Ousama - one of the best waiters who knows his job). Unfortunately, there are waiters who do not focus on work and their sense of humor exceeds the limits of good taste. The choice of food is large, various types of meat, fish, pasta, soups, salads, fruit, bread, pizza - everyone will find something for themselves. Fruit, cakes and ice cream for dessert. The quality of the food at a good level. The hotel pool and surroundings are very nice and tidy. Large pool, clean water, cleaned daily. The swimming pool is open until sunset. Sunbeds available by the pool, however, their number is not enough for all guests - towels are available at the reception upon payment of a deposit. The poolside bar is payable, the bar next to the pool is free, the poolside restaurant is payable. Animators try to make your stay more pleasant. They organize various games and dances. The best animator is Nino Marha Marha - a very positive guy. Unfortunately, as in the case of the main restaurant, so at the pool bar it happens that the service is not nice, making problems with serving a drinks or beer, for no reason. The beach is right next to the hotel, sandy, quite large, free sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach. Volleyball court and water sports. Lifeguards and security is on the beach. In the evenings there is a disco in the hotel, live music. The service speaks Arabic, French and English. In summary, the hotel has 5 stars, but I think this rating is too high because of the rooms and some of the staff…

This Hotel is one of the best hotels in Mahdia. For local citizens, its a good place for spending time or meeting people or even studying.For foreign tourists, its good since you can see most of the city and also go the beach.I recommend visiting it during the summer, but its also good during the rest of the year.The hotel services are good, the food is delicious, and the conference / meeting rooms are wide and well equipped.The building is kind of old comparing to other hotels, but its not a something that can affect your stay.

Its supposed to be the best hotel here, but it isnt that much better than the other five stars nearby. Also, no animation for kids, not even a playground on site. Also, takes them too long to clean up the beach after recent storm. For a week the beach has been looking like the photo.

i see this place has two listings so posting this here also to be on the safe side :This place is awful. First off it’s targeted toward russians (you may noticed who all the good reviews are fromwhich is fine but not really because they look at POC travelers like zoo animals.be prepared to wait 2 hrs when you arrive for your room to be ready and the wifi basically never works.Also the staff is mostly men and they are very rude and aggressive. During an attempt to get a beach chair the staff told us the chairs are for hotel guests only.... the beach area for the hotel is gated soooo the only way we would have been able to get there was to be guests duh! so to fix it he tried to convince us that the chairs were for the hotel owner’s nephew only 😂The food wasn’t very good... actually the buffet was pretty disgusting but also I think the traditional tunisian fares was watered down to fit the liking of their target guests.we were there for a wedding and instead of placing us in the rooms near the other guests they placed us (two WOCsin the very very back on the bottom floor of the hotel and the rooms were a disgrace. exhibit A is the roach that remained or neighbor the entire trip (see the photo).To order a drink you have to chase down the staff but be aware that they probably will have ran out of ice or they don’t have the drink you want. and if you specify a specific liquor they’ll try to sneak in something cheaper that you didn’t ask for.to rent a towel you have to pay $10 dinars as a security deposit which is fine but when you try to get it back the guy at the concierge will likely yell at you and throw your money back at you... although they tell you to return the ticket and get your money back...There’s so much I can say but I’ll just leave at Mahdia is beautiful and there are so many beautiful resorts that you can get the most out of your experience at. but if you choose to stay here just brush up on your russian, and be prepared to have a below par experience. I’m thankful to the wedding party and wedding experience for bringing us off the resort to experience what Mahdia really has to offer!

e of the best in North Africaoffers the perfect relaxe. A good hotel for families as children and without. Stayed for 11 days, enjoyed it, cons for themselves not found.

Good hotel a little aged but it was a good accommodation. The rooms are older in style and lack proper electrical outlets that are needed in modern times to attach and charge devices. Only two outlets for the entire room with one take up by the TV itself. Bathroom was clean but the ammenties were low quality.

Super hotel et super ambiance

Good big hotel in Mahdia,nice people,good choise of tasty food.there are 3 or 4 restaurant and bars. Beach is beautifull,clean,sandy,no rocks and sea is like a smaragd,but sometimes with sea grass,or trash like plastic bottles.also there was windy time with sea waves for few days,but there was rescue personal at beach.pool is quite big enough for everybody,with pool bar and part for children.

I was very happy with my wife when i visited hotel mahdia palace . Every thing is good . Reception . Food. The quality of service is very hight . Nice animation team with the leader karim . This is the first time for me i hope to be soon here again . Thanks a lot for all the staff
