My first few visits were great.This place cannot keep staff. Theres always someone up front who doesnt know how to do something or isnt trained on it.Most recently, I couldnt get my records transferred because no one knew how to do it. Once I got ahold of the person who did know how, she couldnt use her email and even suggested that upper/lower case letters mattered when I gave her the email I needed my things transferred to. What.Prior to this, I canceled my last appt there because I had just had a baby and didnt want to make the 1 hr drive, one way. She told me "great! We dont currently have a hygienist employed." Which translates to they were going to let me drive there just to turn me around! I am SO glad I called because they sure werent! Unbelievable.My last real appt with these people, I had a tooth break. Called on a Monday and they told me they could get me in that afternoon at 3:15. Perfect! I get there and find out she was looking at the wrong day on the calendar. They squeeze me in regardless, and a different dentist than I am used to working with tells me that since its a after 5, he cant help me. I burst into tears because of the amount of pain I am in, and that I drove all that way, AND took off from work to be told no. My regular dentist came to the rescue and filed the edges of the tooth so I could, AT THE VERY LEAST, not have it slicing my tongue every time I spoke.SPOILER ALERT : My new dentist did not receive the records I requested. I had to pay out of pocket for new x-rays because of this. Thanks.Dont walk, run! In the opposite direction of this place!

This place is a joke bounce you appointment and dont care

I called to let the receptionist know that I had open pockets that I would probably need a referral out. I gave her all my information. She said I was all set. I went to my appointment. She could not find my mainecare with all the given information. After being frustrated I left. I was able to get all my information and put back on the books. The hygienist that came in stated the machine they needed to do the X-rays for my wisdom teeth was broken, the dentist would probably refer me out. The dentist came in, did not introduce himself asked to look at my mouth and stated he would need to refer me out because it’s too unsafe for him to preform any surgery’s. Okay. Then asked me to find out where I needed to a referral to. I stated Augusta oral surgery as I don’t know of any place to remove my teeth. The dentist has stated he seen pus and there was an infection. Left and sent the hygienist in who asked me where to get a referral to. When I stated Augusta oral she said they didn’t take mainecare and I would be better off paying out of pocket because the wait is too long. When I asked for an office manger she became extremely defensive. Telling me all concerns where taken care off.I walked out. I called another office. I have an appointment and a referral out to an oral surgeon in Augusta if I need it🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ CUSTOMER SERVICE MATTERS. While all of this os happening I’m balling my eyes out because I’m overwhelmed, anxious and in pain. Not once was any kindness shown to me at all.Also was told they couldn’t do my cleanings but as of 7/1/22 mainecare covers all cleanings

I was given antibiotics for my gums turns out that I didnt need that medication only the mouthwash I am 26 weeks pregnant I dont need to worry about being given wrong medication also the wait time is so long

Had appointment May 2020 - cancelled for obvious reasons. Five months after, called office got auto message stating office only taking emergency calls & if appointment had to be cancelled due to "COVID" someone will call to reschedule, NO ONE EVER CALLED. Called month after month Oct. 2020 to Nov. 2021 - NO ONE EVER answered phone, always got auto message. December 2021 FINALLY someone answered phone & I got appointment for April 2022. Went to office, was told I needed a mask. Told receptionist I didnt have mask yet she stated two more times I had to wear mask, said shed get me one. Got into exam room, talking to hygienist, told her about my issues getting appointment. Told me that office message had been changed & that they had been open for all patients since July of 2020 - LIE!!!! She proceeded to work on me, took new x-rays, dentist came in said I had to see Periodontist before any further work can be done & Id get a referral. Handed me slip of paper with Periodontist info., said theyd send referral that day. Just in case it didnt get it done, I waited 3 days before I called to make appointment. Periodontist said they never got referral so I called Main St. back. I was told to make appointment first THEN theyd send referral - WRONG!!! DONT WORK THAT WAY!!! REFERRAL made first the patient can gets appointment. Main St. said theyd get referral to Perio that day; this was a Thurs. Next Mon. called Perio & still hadnt received referral. Called Main St. again, said theyd call Perio to get fax or email to send referral. Another week went by called Perio office again & they had the referral. In process of giving info when informed the doctor no longer billed insurance I had, Id have to pay out of pocket for work, no way. Called Main St. next Mon. let them know Perio didnt take my ins. so theyd have to refer me to another one who did. Was told theyd call back that day NO CALL - NOT SURPRISED! Wed. called, said they were busy, Id get a call in 30 mins. 2 hrs. later, still no call so I called back. Was told doctor was busy, she didnt know it, he was still extracting & would call back later. AGAIN NO CALL! Office closed Fri. so next Mon. called again; was AGAIN told theyd look for another specialist & called back later that day - AGAIN NO CALL! Found another dentist, made appointment; called Main St. to find out how to get copies of x-rays. ALL OF A SUDDEN THEY CARE!!! "OH, sorry about referral, give us few hrs. well get it for you!" Told them been 2 wks trying & now I new dentist & theyre going to get me a referral? Said forget it Im done. Asked again x-rays, told theyd need to call back - SSDD. Few days later call, told they needed fax number to send x-rays - cant fax x-rays. Called Main St. back, informed them no fax number can I pick x-rays up. Told they can print & I can come pick up. Few days later called & said can pick up x-rays, was told receptionist had to talk to doctor. Came back on line said x-rays would not come out well if printed so theyd email them to me. Took 5 days to get that done. Learned hard way - THEY DONT CARE ABOUT PATIENTS ONLY THE MONEY AND GIVE YOU THE RUN AROUND!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRACTICE!!!!

Horrible experience. Had a broken tooth pulled, that went fine. Was prescribed an antibiotic Im highly allergic to. (Was stated in paperwork they had me fill out!My name was misspelled, no birthdate, wrong address. Made numerous calls trying to get this straight & office staff just bumbled it, after assuring me theyd call in a new script. Nope, never did. Next day I called & emailed. Said dentist has to call me b4 he can call in a different antibiotic. He never did, but had his office staff call me demanding immediate payment as he said I had no insurance. I did, they just dont know how to bill. Dentist said he needed payment by end of day. Still didnt address my lack of scripts. No antibiotics, no pain meds. Nothing. I ended up getting a few antibiotics from a friend. Fast forward 3 wks, end up with a big infection and have to go to Express care for treatment. Never called me back or showed any care after my repeated attempts to get help from them. I would NEVER recommend anyone go here. Seriously, do yourself a favor & run from this practice. They are highly unprofessional and uncaring. Im now in a lot of pain with a serious infection due to the complete lack of care I received. Completely unacceptable. I dont care how short staffed you are, this is no way to treat people/customers. I shouldve listened to the other reviews on google about this place.Update: Now I have to go to another dentist for an exam & X-rays to be sure this infection has cleared & have to pay $200 out of pocket & drive to Topsham! Thank you VM Main st dental!! I now get to waste $ on top of having an infection that was completely avoidable, all because of your negligence.Anyone reading this who has had similar experiences please report this dentist to the American Dental association also. This lack of care needs to be investigated, every time!

Waited a year for my son and Is apt, called the morning of the apt to confirm just to find out they canceled the apt “ because they tried to call me and I didn’t answer”.

This dental office is AMAZING!! I call them and they always get me right in. The staffing is so professional. The dentist has a calming effect. They always try to save your teeth at all cost! I highly recommend this place!!!

Set an appointment up. They called the next day to say they have to push me out over 2 weeks because they dont know how to read their own schedule.

Absolutely terrible. Cant keep a dentist and the mutts they bring in dont listen and butcher your teeth. Run from this place

I was completely blown away by this place the head dentist here was amazing! They got me in and got everything done I needed to have done in one shot and the dentist was so nice and gentle I didnt even know my tooth was gone until he said ok all set lol I will definitely go back

I got some fillings done here. First time they fell out as I was leaving. Second time they hurt for well over a year and no one was willing to help me. Would never go here again.

Had multiple fillings done I had very bad anxiety and the doctor was very nice and understanding

I wish I could give a negative star if possible. Beware of this dentist he is very rude and & condescending. This was my first time going to him and I highly regret it. He seemed drunk and not professional.

I was a child when I was supposed to transfer to this dentist from another. And because I accidentally missed my appointment when I was a child. I can never go back they won’t reschedule me ever. Pretty messed up.

I wouldnt even give this place 1 star, the best thing this office could do is close down the office staff are very un organized, and because having to miss an appointment because of work the wont see you at that office, places like this should close right down..

The staff is very friendly great with the kids and efficient. I felt singled out by the manager by the name of Deb. She told her coworkers she needed to "speak with the mom they had a problem" and "didnt want it discussed in front of kids." But this whole convo took place in front of my 8 yr old daughter who than immediately worried about her teeth and her mom poor girl :-( come to find out because of the pandemic parents can no longer wait in the waiting you wait in your car. Where I had two kids going in back to back I utilized the time to clean out my car trash. I threw the trash in a dumpster in the parking lot which fast forward was now the big problem Deb had and that caused this anxiety for my daughter. They met me at the door to get my oldest daughter and get my youngest for her appt while the manager stood and waited to speak with me. She said I was observed throwing trash in a dumpster that is not theirs. I quickly apologized said what I was doing and I can pull it out even. She said no it just couldnt continue to happen which I didnt reply although in my head I was screaming we wont be back for 6 months lady! I would have left it at this exchange had my 8yr old not spoke up and said they said there was a big problem and she told me the story my heart ached for her and I called Deb and let her know I removed the trash and there was no longer a problem but that I didnt appreciate at all how my daughter or myself for that matter was made to feel

I just came from this place 2nd visit. This one worse than last. Argumentative & condescending down from Canada dentist. They should give him a breathalyzer before he starts work.He is a red faced drunk. From the receptionist to the dentist very unprofessional & lacking skill level on all areas. Should not be a dental practice! Absolutely Horrendous. I will be reporting them to AGs office & ADA & State of Maine. Such incompetence. Christine Murphy

They need better time management skills. I understand running late but almost 2 hours behind is foolish. Slack service and peoplethey need people who can run an office. Dont let your receptionist go on break together. Thats just foolish and uncompensated. The owners need new employees

Staff was rude and messed up my tooth so took hours to cut my jaw open to extract a tooth and stiches and felt it all

So, I have to tell you all this god awful horror story. I went here less than 3 weeks ago to get a filling done. As the head of the practice is about to drill my teeth, he said "I dont know if you need a filling there or not". He stuck me with novacaine and began. As soon as he started to drill I almost jumped out of the chair. He stopped, and said: "i need to use more novacaine.". Jabbed me 2 more times for an unknown filling. At this point, I told him I didnt want ANY fillings done. Because he had no idea what the hell he was doing. So then he says "let me take an xray". And I let him, but then he said "theres nothing there". So he going to DRILL MY HEALTHY TOOTH and fill it. DO NOT GO HERE. I DONT WISH IT ON MY WORST ENEMY.

Dr. Dimitrik is amazing. I have a huge phobia of dentists and he went above and beyond to make my experience as comfortable as possible. I have had quite a bit of work done with them and will continue to finish my dental work with them.. I would recommend him to any of my family or friends. The office staff was friendly and courteous and the dental assistants were just as great.

THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN MAIN ST DENTAL IN WATERVILLE MAINE IS LITERALLY THE WORST DENTAL OFFICE . THEY PULLED JOSHS TOOTH ON THURSDAY WHILE HAVING AN ABCEST AND ONLY BEING ON ANTI BIOTICS FOR LIKE 28 HRS THEN HE GOT A REALLY BAD INFECTION WHERE THEY PULLED HIS TOOTH SO WE CALLED BACK ON FRIDAY THEY TOLD HIM TO COME BACK YESTERDAY AND THEY DIDNT EVEN CLEAN THE INFECTED AREA BEFORE STITCHING IT CLOSED 5 DAYS AFTER IT WAS PULLED INSTEAD OF THE SAME DAY AND THE STITCHES CAME UNDONE THIS MORNING SO HE WENT BACK AND THEY TOLD HIM THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO AND SENT HIM HOME WITH THE STITCHES STILL HANGING OUT OF HIS MOUTH.... THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN APPARENTLY PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN TO THIS PLACE DR.A WAS THE DENTIST WHO WORKED ON HIS MOUTH BOTH DAYS AND THE ONE WHO TOLD HIM HE COULDNT DO ANYTHING FOR HIM TODAY.

I’ve gone to this dentist for about 1 1/2 years. (my other dentist office closed previously so we needed to find another dentistYesterday, February 28th, I brought my 8 year old daughter to be seen as she seemed to have an abscessed tooth due to her breaking a tooth. She was extremely nervous as she’s never had any issues previously. It was the worse experience I’ve ever had with a doctor or dentist. The dentist who treated her is apparently the owner. This was my first encounter with him. He hardly spoke a word, and was rude when he did speak. He asked me if my insurance was actually going to pay for the procedure. My daughter was crying some through the procedure. He never acknowledged this. I know with a 100% accuracy that either the anesthetic given wasn’t given enough time to work, or not enough was give. My daughter felt the tooth being removed and proceeded to sob. She was not “out-of-control” by any means, but it definitely hurt A LOT. He told her to, Act like a big girl and to stop crying because there was people in the waiting room.” When finished he said, “He was finished and we could go.” I left the room and didn’t even check out. I was trying to hold back tears as well. I told her I would never take her or my 3 other children here again. This review is given in a bit-shell. I can not tell you in words how horrible it was. Side note: the ladies who work in this office are fabulous! The Dental Assistant was one of the best!

I went here a few years back and it was the biggest mistake. I was treated like trash and even one of the "dentist" commented on my weight saying I was fatter than the last time I went in. Was getting a filling and got two shots of novacaine and he came back and just started drilling i could feel everything and told him he just grabbed the needle and put another shot in my mouth without even an apology. I got braces put on here and one of the brackets fell off and took half my tooth with it. I told them at my next appointment and he just shrugged it off. The braces were taken off because I was done with them and my teeth turned black under the braces. I do not recommend going here. I wouldnt send my worst enemy here! Do not go there!

I was there a few years ago. I had an abscess the size of a golf ball. The so call DENTIST gave me 12 shots of novacain and I felt every single one of them. I was crying and shaking in the chair and was told I was being dramatic. I told him I could feel the needles. He didnt listen to me. He went on to pull the two teeth in the upper left side of my mouth. I FELT EVERYTHING!!! I walked out there about an hour later maybe a little longer..got to my car and vomited for 5 minutes. My head poi ding like someone hit me in the head with a sledge hammer. I couldnt even drive..I had to call a friend to come get me. I was sick for days and then went to the ER and told them what happend. They were not impressed with what he did. They said he was supposed to give me anti biotic before removing the teeth. And that because of the abscess is why the novacain didnt work. I ended up getting an infection in my blood stream from what he did. I will NEVER GO BACK. He is a CRAZY MAN!!

I have pretty bad teeth and have had allot of teeth pulled, but of all the dentists Ive been to Dr. Vyacheslav is great. If you have anxiety he will answer your questions and make sure you are comfortable and not in pain when he pulls your tooth... I will be taking my children here

Very poor staff stood there for 10 minutes trying to ask a question about getting an appointment for the Philips zoom and then a window got opened they asked what I wanted and then continued to ignore me and talk and I eventually just sat down and they closed the window and continued to talk more , DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE

Messed up the only filling I ever had. My bite was incorrect thankfully when I went back in a week or so later he grinded it down. So my bite was back to normal, having a messed up bite for a week is more painful than youd think since you cant rest your jaw correctly.

Do NOT recommend. Second time Ive had braces on from them, the first time they were never straight, the second time they were straight and then they created a gap between my teeth. Which now means I have to have my braces on even longer. Dont waste your time or money here.

I take my son in today for his cleaning and they told me he hasnt been seen since 2014!! He was just there this past summer for a molar extraction and they do not have records at all since 2014How do you not have a record of a tooth extraction done in your own office. Now upon changing dentists I will have very little record of his appointments which just makes me look bad. I really hope the new dentist will be understanding of this situation. I am NOT HAPPY!Its sad when another dentist tells you they wouldnt send their worst enemy to this place. I would have to agree.

Very poor sevice people stink and are rude they expect you to be 15 minutes early and then they show up 15-20 minutes 45 minutes late and a not willing to work around your schedule you must be there on the dot and they drop u after missing 3 apointments they dont go away after a few years so find another dentist

My son is very nervous of dental work and this place worked well for him. He had fillings and cleaning and we have nothing but good things to say. The wait time wasnt long and the waiting room is nice.

I called yesterday and they said they can get me a new retainer so asked me to call today. Now they said they cant "We just cant". The dumbest dental centre ever.

What a terrible dental practice!! A failure from the receptionist to the dentist himself. Do Not go to this practice for a referral to an oral surgeon. They dont want you there! Do not bring a patient with dental phobia into this practice. They dont care. Do Not go there too close to 5:00! Thats also a huge problem. I was referred there by Mainecare. Dont complain to them because they dont care either. One star for a good location.

Terrible customer service! Spoke so loudly everyone in the waiting from could hear my information! After I was ALREADY there for an appointment (which I had to take time off from work forthey said they could not have me as a patient anymore! Then they called another dentist office without my permission, but its not all that bad. Im at a superior denist now.

My wife had appointment on the 1/11/16 they changed it to 1/14/16 then on 1/13/16 they called said that her appointment was for 1/13/16 and had the reschedule for 1/18/16 on mlk day my wife took the 11th off then they changed it so she asked for the 14th off and got it on short notice now she cant get the day back now they want her to miss the 18th I told them that this was very unprofessional and I told the office manager that they are rude and that people cant just take any day off because of a office mishap they told me there was nothing they could do about this I am pulling my family from this practice and hope that if you need dental work you will look Else where. I am very upset about the lack of respect for a customer.

The practice is dispassionate! Ive NEVER HEARD of a practice DROPPING a patient due to unavoidable changes in appointment times.When their poorly fitted caps fell out nearly 10 times I NEVER complained!

Horrible experience! Decided to try them, BIG MISTAKE. After waiting months for an appointment, A simple cleaning turned into a painful experience. 2 painful cavities were prodded at for 40 minutes, then I was told I may need a root canal. (REALLY?, my last cleaning with my usual dentist was less than 8 months ago with no issues, now I need a ROOT CANAL?). Then, instead of filling the cavities, they sent me home with a MOTRIN PRESCRIPTION, and and appointment for JUNE! Maybe you shouldnt have OVERBOOKED for that day and had 9 people waiting! You SUCK! I definitely wont be back, and NEITHER will any of my family members.
