Dr. Jones and her team are the best! Ive been bringing all 3 of our dogs to her since 2017 and couldnt be happier.

Long story short...I had been caring/feeding a juvenile stray black cat for months. Finally got him crated today and took him HERE!! Best decision ever! Not only is he in great care with Dr. Jones and practice...he is getting neutered, dewormed, and vaccinated as well as tending to other issues. Dr. Jones is AWESOME!!!!!! Cant wait for my "Sweet Boy" to be in his FUREVER home in a few days!!! Sooooo glad I brought him to this PRIVATE Practice...not Corporate...

Went to this Vet thru Humane Societys Kitten Krusaders program. Had three, 5 week old kittens that were weighed and examined by Mandarin Veterinary Clinic, Dr. Jones. When Dr Jones was examining the 3rd kittens eyes, one eye was shut as the kittens had upper respiratory infections. Dr. Jones pushed a q-tip directly into the kittens eye, twice, at which time the kitten screamed out in pain, and continued screaming. I said "Doc! can we wait a minute and give this poor kitten a minute to calm down?" Dr Jones then pointed at the door and said "you have to leave". She threw me and the 3 kittens out of her office and refused treatment. I had to take the kitten to another Vet because the eye was bleeding, and the Vet said the eye had been ruptured and needs to be removed.Stay away from this clinic and Dr. Jones. A kitten has lost an eye over this.

If I can negative star it I would. We went here for their free veterinary services. My cat has now lost his eye for the way she shoved a q-tip in there, twice. She diagnosed, proceeded to shove the q-tip in the eye, aggressively (I feeland with our concern over the treatment of the cat she commented "I this for free" and then threw us out and would not give us the medication. My babies maybe a month and a half old and she recommended we take them away from the mother to stop them from nursing..... WhAt?!?? Also she treated the techs as tho they are below her.Dr. Jones.Watch out.

Theres an old saying that dogs resemble their owners. That also is true in business, and Mandarin veterinary has a staff that resembles its chief vet. Dr. Jones is caring, organized, efficient, and treats us and our dog like family. She always takes the time to explain to us everything we need to know, and we are very grateful to have her. Like Dr. Jones, her staff is organized, caring and efficient. You and your pet will feel right at home here, and loved.

I called Mandarin vet clinic Tuesday morning with an emergency! My poor little mouse had a growth on her face and looked like she was in pain. My normal vet was all booked up until July 14th, and also was going to charge me $130 for my mouse visit.Dr. Jones was able to take in Squish and she only charges $58 for small pets. She was able to do surgery same day and Squish came home that day. Dr. Jones was patient, answered all my questions, gave me multiple suggestions for after care. She even went as far to call me the day after surgery to check on Squish and see how she was doing. When I mentioned squish didnt eat her dinner the night prior Dr. Jones told me that she would be okay and told me that due to the anesthesia she would be a little lethargic but will be her normal self within 48 hours!Im definitely making this vet clinic my primary vet and cant wait for my two rabbits to go in for their yearly visits! Thank you for saving my baby to all staff at Mandarin Vet Clinic!!!!!!!!

My family love it here. The entire staff is kind and works hard to make you and your fur babies comfortable. They are always very quick to answer/return phone calls and get you an appointment in a very reasonable time frame. Weve seen both Dr. Bernardo and Dr. Jones and theyre both wonderful - very kind and honest. The assistants are also warm and wonderful people. So patient with our pets even when theyre uncooperative.

Dr Bernardo is awesome!! We had an great first visit. My dog is very anxious but these ladies were very patient and sweet with her. 10/10 recommend! You can tell they have a passion for animals ❤️

When we needed someone the most, Dr. Bernardo and Dr. Jones with the help of their staff were there. Our beloved twelve year old bunny needed help and Jacksonville no longer has any emergency exotic veterinarians but when we called, they were there without rushing us, with only caring and helping hands.Dr. Bernardo spent time with Moo and did everything that she was able to make him more comfortable. She checked in on Moo personally after his visit.Moo passed away peacefully at home a few days ago and thinking back on all of the people that have lent a helping hand on making that possible, we couldnt leave her out. Her kindness is not something that well ever forget.

This is easily the best vet I’ve ever been to in my life. They helped me get a last minute appointment as a new customer, helped me get a health certificate for multiple baby rabbits in the same appointment and we’re kind and knowledgeable helping me get what I needed. Their clinic is 2 hours away from me and I still prefer them over local vets. Highly recommend for rabbit owners.

They were really patient and knowledgeable and gentle with my dog, they have separate entrances for dogs vs cats which makes the animals a lot more comfortable, and all of the staff are just so great. It was my first visit, and another client in the waiting room told me shes been coming for 30 years to them and about how wonderful theyve been with her pets. They have good business hours that ensure that theyre both available for the pets and to give the staff plenty of rest time (Im a very big believer that happy workers make the rest of the business betterand just overall a really great visit.Im happy to call this vet clinic the new source of all my visits so that I can keep my dog happy and healthy.

How dare you encourage people to get their kittens declawed. You are the worst of vet clinics to do that. What is wrong with you!!!!!

Love that this office has separate doors and waiting areas for dogs and cats. Our mature cat has been ill, and we were able to get a convenient appointment and a quick blood test done there on the premises so we dont have to schedule a follow up just to get meds or test results. We are new to Jacksonville, and I think we found our vet. Oh, and the cat waiting area has great decoration.

Best vet in town in my opinion. We have been going here for over 15 years.

Dr.Jones is so sweet and really cares about the pets she sees. I brought my female cat in due to some bald patches and she got her right on some steroids and she’s already recovering. She really takes the time to answer your calls when you need her and really couldn’t ask for more!

Dr. Jones is the best! We met Dr. Monica today, and it seems like she fits right in! This is the best vets office weve ever used, lots of knowledge and ongoing education here. Everyone is really great!

I cannot emphasize how much we love this vet team! They go above and beyond, and are very knowledgeable.

We are using this vet to get a second opinion and Dr. Jones did diagnose our dog and provide treatment that is helping. However, it’s been nothing but a headache to actually get the medicine for him and it’s extremely expensive compared to other pharmacies. The office is crowded and outdated as well.

They were great! From check in to provider to groomer and then check out. Friendly, helpful staff. We brought the class Guinea pig in as we have him for the summer and many places won’t clip nails but not only did they clip his nails for also helped with his matted long hair- thank y’all again!

Finally, a Veterinarian that treats my precious Shepherds the way I wanted and needed. Dr. Jones is so very knowledgeable and kind to the animals. Went for the first time and this is my forever clinic. So impressed by her and her staff.

Very poor! My daughter recently started working there, before the holidays and had only recieved one paycheck. After the New Year she had asked if they could make her fulltime, they said they would look into it. A few hours later they called her to the office to let her know they were letting her go due to being so young.Who is doing the hiring? My daughter asked for them to at least give her two weeks so she could find another job, so she is able to keep up with her bills.Well that didnt last . next day ,they called her to the office,, again told her she better make it to the exit interview. When it was time to go to the office she had been attending to customers up front, they yelled at her for that. I would never take my animals to this pla e, they are very unprofessional and rude! They seem very impatient.

Fantastic animal care! The receptionistis very courteous and kind as well as thoughtful towards your needs and the text as well as the doctor are amazing. Grooming is a very acceptable cost and the vet costs are very manageable. If things run over budget they are very willing to help with a payment plan as their goal is to help animals, not themselves to your wallet. Will be lifetime clients here!

Dr Jones has been my vet for over 20 years and I will never go anywhere else. She is up to date on the therapies new and old. She is also intelligent and intuitive with all small animals. Her staff is exceptional and always willing to help. So don’t waste your time and money go to Mandarin Vet Clinic ...you will be glad you did.

Best animal clinic in town!Our rescued doodle got neutered while he was boarded. They took such good care of him. Dr. Jones is wonderful! We also love the daily boarding option for emergencies. Highly recommend this clinic.

I have many pets who receive veterinary services & sometimes boarding at Mandarin Veterinary Clinic. I absolutely love this veterinary provider! Dr. Kandra Jones and her wonderful staff treat my pets with excellent care! I refuse to go anywhere else. I have brought foster dogs to her for treatment. I have boarded my dogs with her clinic as well. ALL the staff & Dr. Jones truly take the time to provide expert care. She doesnt do anything unnecessary, but gives each case her time, attention, and expertise. I joke around that I almost "make up" reasons to go visit Mandarin Veterinary Clinic, just to see them! 5 stars definitely!

I brought our ferret in worried as she had been having some issues. I felt completely at ease after having had her seen here. Its always great to find a vet who you can trust, especially with animals that many vets wont see or are clueless about. To find one that has ferrets herself made my day!

Dr. Jones is hands down the most caring doctor Ive ever been to, animal or otherwise. She takes calls all hours of the day, and almost ALWAYS does emergency visits if need be. And she takes care of all sorts of strange pets!

If you care about your pets health chose ANOTHER Vet. I wish I had read the previous reviews before taking my dog to Dr. Jones. She is incompetent and a scam artist. I paid close to $1,000 to be told by a DIFFERENT vets office that my dog has a urinary tract infection. This "doctor" shouldnt be allowed to practice.She will run up your bill with unnecessary tests and exams, and provide no ACTUAL treatment or DIAGNOSIS.

Dr. Jones treats us and our Toy Fox Terrier like family. She and her staff provide outstanding care and we are pleased to have the opportunity to give the Mandarin Veterinary Clinic 5 stars.

Dr. Jones is an amazing veterinarian. I took my 14 year old dachshund to her and I was so impressed with her bedside manner. She was also extremely cognizant of our financial situation and proceeded accordingly without sacrificing quality care.

We took our 13 year-old Dachshund to this clinic for the first time for an emergency visit. We were absolutely amazed at the care and attention given our pet by the staff and Dr. Jones from the minute we walked through the door. I have never met a more professional and forthcoming doctor. We had to leave Trouble for the day and were apprehensive about doing so , but after spending time with both Dr. Jones and her staff, we were perfectly comfortable. Dr. Jones explained, in detail, everything we needed to know and the related cost. We sincerely believe Dr. Jones saved our pets life. We just love Dr Jones. I have been to a lot of vets with my pugs and shes my favorite. She takes time with you in the exam room .she truly loves animals you can clearly see that. She always returns your calls which dome vets do not. I know my pugs are in good hands with her.

Dr Jones and her staff are responsible for my dog living a happy and healthy for over 16 years. She will not order tests and procedures your animal does not need..

My Frenchie Boba Fett had an issue one evening. I called the office expecting an after hours operator and instead I was speaking directly to the Doctor! Who does that in this day and age? Dr Jones - thats who!

Recently We took our cat in, he was not eating and had lost a lot of weight. I was impressed with the level of care that they gave us. Dr. Jones even took the time to call me back the next day to see how he was doing, and scheduled a follow up visit at no charge

I was very impressed with Dr. Jones and her staff. There is no doubt that all of them love animals and work their hardest to provide the best of care. Yes, the price changed after my initial consultation. It went down. The clinic does laser surgery in order to improve the outcome and to lessen the pain of your pet. I am very happy to have this clinic for my permanent vet.
