Manley Donuts in Yolo County

Been going to Manleys for 25 years and its been run by the same couple. I admit we dont eat donuts as much as we used too but they still make a good donut. Ive noticed some poor reviews lately and wondered if it was true. Like I said, still a good donut but I did notice their wasnt as much enthusiasm as I remember but hey, who can keep that up forever. Ill still go there when I get a craving because they are good neighbors and theyve earned it.

There a cash only business and they only have one little tiny sign that blends in with all the other signs so you dont even see it. Why would you look for it? In todays age? You get your bag of donuts and you find out you cant have them because you dont have cash on you. They will actually suggest that you walk down the street to use the ATM, of course I didnt bother

The donuts were so fresh the literally melted when you touched them! Sooo good!!!

I came here in the morning, the people working the counter seemed stressed and annyoed, I was 25 cents less and the lady started yelling at me and the man came and started yelling at me, i could not understand anything they were saying and when i gave them the 25 cents they said I need 15 more cents and i did not get my cash back. Although the owners made the experience bad, the donuts were really good.

Donuts are ALWAYS good, Bakery is always clean, just wish they accepted credit cards and would smile when they take your order. But, other than that great place to get pastry.

The donuts are OK. Not the best and not the worst I’ve had but the OWNERS ARE SO RUDE. Especially the black haired lady behind the counter who won’t break a smile for nothing. I will NEVER go back to pay a cent to people who are so RUDE and ungrateful of their customers. It’s a NO for me

The donuts are average, much better than grocery store, but just about every other donut place in Sacramento is better.

After ordering my donuts, the person at the counter said they only accepted cash. There wasnt a sign that said all transactions are cash-only or an ATM in the area.

I love this place. Been coming here since I was a kid. The donuts are always good and its great seeing the same people behind the counter. This neighborhood is lucky to have Manleys!

Good doughnuts but not good service. The lady serving is not very welcoming or warm with customer service.

I felt like i was bothering them when it was my turn to place my order. The older asian lady is so rude. I walk in saying good morning being friendly and polite and no response whats so ever. Just a hurry up and pick what you going to buy attitude. The donuts are good but did receive a couple of cinnamon rolls that were raw in the middle. I mentioned it to them the next time I went in and they had no care in the world not even a sorry. Not sure if im not " the type of people" they like coming to the shop. (Read between lines herebut i sure feel like im not welcomed.

My daughter and I visit manleys at least once a week for doughnut day, the service is excellent and the doughnuts have become a staple in our weekly routine...

Had a week long job in the area, went there 3 times and every time they were rude and the worst donuts Ive ever had. Tasted like stale day old donuts. Will NEVER go there again!!

Very surprised with all the 5-star ratings talking about friendly customer service. That may have once been the case, but its not that way now. I live on Pocket Rd and have gone to this place off and on for years, and lately, (last 6 months or so), Ive noticed that every time I go in I seem to be bothering them.Im the customer and somehow Im inconveniencing them??? My gf felt the same way when she went in on a different occasion. Also, the donuts are fairly expensive for what you get, so for the price and lack of friendly service weve been getting donuts from Donut King way out near KP International every other week or so when we buy LOTS of produce.Probably wont go here again for awhile.

HORRIBLE customer service, no one greets you and when you try to order they treat you as if youre bothering them. This has happened every single time Ive gone in there. I only continued to go there because I was trying to support small businesses in my neighborhood but never again. As I went to pay today I was literally yelled at for not seeing their one "cash only" sign. If I could take my 1 star back I would.

For a donut shop, you would think they would have fresh donuts during their open hours. That is not the case here. :-(

Its A low Ok; i purchased a 1 2 dozen & wanted a box instead of the white paper bag...an had 2 pay an xtra $0.50.... An they dont greet " new" customers; they only acknowledge "regulars"I probably wont patronize them again..

Very poor customer service. Lots of eye rolls, sighs, and looks of distain while I was selecting donuts for a large order. I didnt know that it was cash only and was $2 short so I ran next door to the ATM. It was maybe 5 minutes and there was only one other customer in the shop. You should have seen the look I was given when I walked back in. I have never rated a business before but I have no plans on coming back here. Im not expecting someone to be all bubbly and smiley, but at the very least courteous.

I love the fresh donuts they sell here, they are delicious. The only thing that is annoying is that it is cash only and I had to walk down to the liquor stores ATM to get 5 bucks for my donuts and milk.

Good independent doughnut shop. They usually throw in a couple extra doughnut holes for the kids.
