Bad at returning calls I never got a quote

Constantly sending emails to be reviewed and “how are we doing”. It’s annoying. Enough. We get it.

I have been a customer of this specific Allstate agency for about 31 years now and have been extremely happy since the beginning, not to mention my father has been one even longer. Our relationship has developed from me being a 16 year old who just got his drivers license needing auto insurance, to now having the need for almost every insurance imaginable. The relationship has grown from a teenager auto policy to now a family needing policies for; auto, home, life, umbrella, business and an ATV (soon). We essentially need almost every insurance out there. Needless to say we obtained it all through Marco and his agency of great employees. It has now come to the time where now my oldest child will be needing auto insurance in less than 2 years, guess where he will get it? I would also like to add that at any time if I have ever requested the need to speak directly with the owner Marco for some reason, I have always been contacted by him within minutes and fully discussed my insurance question, and other personal matters to boot. And for an extra bonus, Marco and his employees will make suggestions that will lower your premiums, of course fully explaining the details involved.

I switched to AllState from GEICO when i bought a new car and i was shopping around for better prices. This AllState agency in 475 Tuckahoe were very friendly and helpful when i was shopping around for my policy, which of course i though it was great and got my policy with them.The real nightmare started when i acquired a second vehicle, when i tried to add it to my policy the price when up substantially. Now, the prices are not what makes me rate Marc Marcella and his agency low, since prices can vary according to many factors; what has made me completely hate AllState business model of "Agents" is the inconsistency that you can get when the owner of the agency chooses to treat some customers with care and some others as just plain garbage.After finding a better policy price and coverage with GEICO, i contacted this agency to terminate my policy with them. One of his secretaries instructed me to send her an email requesting the policy termination, and i did as she asked. I was shocked to receive a bill from AllState in the amount of my old policy premium since i was already with GEICO, the secretary NEVER terminated the policy. Strike One.After this incident, i got in contact with them to sort it out. While on hold, Mike Marcella himself answered at the same time he was telling his secretary that what was happening to me was well deserved because i went with GEICO. Strike 2.After even talking with him and countless other communication with his secretaries they finally terminated my policy, with only one problem... They backdated the termination BY 2 MONTHS!!!, this is costing my wife to have her license suspended because of 2 months of lapse in insurance!! Strike 3Tried to get in contact with Marc Marcella by leaving messages with his secretaries and NOTHING, just ignored my wife and i while we are dealing with the DMV, AllState Corporate offices, Our Auto Loan bank, etc.My experience with this Agency has been disastrous to say the least and i would not recommend anyone to fall into his hands, YOU ARE NOT IN GOOD HANDS with this agency.

They have called me couple times for quote that I never requested! This is not the way to do business. I have placed myself on donot call list and they still call me! Do not use allstate!
