Mariachi De Oro in Orleans County
Privilege
Good was very good. Waitress was sweet. Like the atmosphere.
Visited this place for the first time. Heard nothing but good things about the food and drink. It did not disappoint! I wont say its better then Andale in East Amherst, but the place was better than most. Server was new, but she did fine. The decor inside was beautiful. We will return!
MoreTook our friends for dinner. Restaurant was celebrating its 11th year anniversary. Food and service was great as always. They had a mariachi band for entertainment, which we enjoyed very much. As dinner was ending patrons were offered shots of tequila to toast the owners in celebration of their 11 years in business. Thought that was a nice touch.
MoreThe food is great the new patio is fabulous But the mariachi band they had the other night was absolutely awful
MoreGood atmosphere great margaritas and good food. If something says its hot it is definitely hot.
MoreAuthentic Mexican food. Large portions. Loved eating out on the large covered patio. Prices good for what you ordered. Will definitely be back. One of Medinas hidden secrets. Worth the drive.
MoreBeautiful location and setting. Outside bar and seating area is pleasant and roomy, indoor seating decor is fun. Service was excellent and friendly. The food however was just OK. The pork and ground beef lacked flavor we were expecting delicious Mexican seasoning but it came up short compared to other places. It was not terrible by any means but just lacking.
MoreThe portions were insane! The food was amazing! The margarita 🍹 was delicious and to end the night with homemade churros 🤤
MoreGreat option for a table service Mexican fare here in Orleans County. Food is always consistently great.
MoreWE have been there twice in the past month. Never heard of it before that. They just built a beautiful covered patio, and its a wonderful place to enjoy a very nicely prepared and presented meal from their menu. The wait staff are attentive and very nice as well. Well worth a trip to try it out.
MoreNice size outdoor place. They dont overdo things. Everything seems just right. Authentic.
MoreWe ate outside on patio on a beautiful day! Great start to a wonderful meal. Very good food at a good price.
MoreExcellent food ! Excellent service looking forward to going back soon
First time visiting and would define go again. Food was delicious.
Authentic Mexican food, and great service! The prices are reasonable with a great atmosphere.
MoreBest Mexican restaurant in the area. While all other Mexican restaurants in the area are more or less the same, the food here is way better and the service is great. Also has a really nice patio area!Absolutely worth the drive
MoreFood is pretty good for the price, usual wait. Should focus more on the unlimited chips and dip, had to wait for someone to notice we ran out.
MoreBest Mexican around. Food and service has been very good since it opened many years ago.
MoreI finally went to this Mexican restaurant. I live close never been in it. I took my girlfriend out and we got two big meals. It was delicious. Something with the pineapple and fish, shrimp. Plus the cheese dip. All of it was 😋. The waitress was very attended to her section and friendly. I recommend if your in area to stop there.
MoreThis is the best Mexican food in the Buffalo/Rochester region. The flavors are authentic and the food is consistently superb. Its worth the drive.
MoreOrdered take out from here last week, spent over $200 between food and drinks and when we got home we had only received 5 of 6 meals. Called in to be told they had definitely put the dinner in the bag and they would not refund me the missing meal because the chef said he made it. Whether or not the chef made it, I didn’t receive it and can’t believe you’d call a customer who just spent a good bit of money and tipped very generously on take out food that they were lying about a missing meal.
MoreGreat food! Service was good after being seated and waiting 15 minutes for someone to finally acknowledge our presence...but overall I would definitely recommend it!
MoreA little rough around the edges (waitress suggested sugar rim on a margarita, only brought 1 plate, when we were sharing fajitas), but the chicken and steak fajitas were so good! Their guac is top notch.Never had mushrooms with fajitas before, but it really worked! They had a lovely blue Curaçao margarita on menu; I was hesitant but it was SO TASTY [with a salt rim]Decor was novel: saddles are the seats at the bar!On the whole, an absolute delight.Too bad they blocked me on Facebook before I could do a review there. We will be coming through at least once a month, and I rely on FB check-ins to remind me of the places I like.
MoreI have never had a bad meal or time here. The staff is amazing and friendly . Our waitress took the time to explain the specials and made it even better it was sons birthday and they came out to sing.. he loved and we also celebrated my daughters recent college graduation.. Overall it was an amazing night.. Thank you to the Rosarios and the staff for making it an amazing night.
MoreBe aware: It gets buusyy there around the weekend at dinner. Good thing theyre expanding. A lot of times we go with takeout. Usually very good, although not as good as fresh from the kitchen dining in. Last time we ordered for pickup, they made one little mistake: Guacamole instead of cheese dip. O well. 🤷♀️
MoreVery good! Most authentic Mexican food in the area. Always hot and fresh. Great mojitos!
MoreThis is most definitely the best Mexican food in the county and a top contender for Western NY. This isn’t just a place for the usual stuff like tacos and fajitas, though they are fantastic. The great thing about this business is the variety of food that has authentic flavor and always comes out fresh. Service is always great AND they keep the whole place so clean. I’m a little out there because I strongly judge a restaurant by the cleanliness of their bathrooms and they are damn newer immaculate. I often order food to-go too and they never fail. Prices are more than reasonable! I can’t wait for their new building project to be finished for an even space because I will strongly consider hosting events here!
MoreGood food. Fast friendly service. Bar not so good but they do have take out.
Delicious food at a reasonable price with friendly servers. Nice family-run business!
MoreCute little Mexican place recommended by a family friend! Were glad we made the drive out. Love the POS system and being able to pay on my phone. Super convenient.
MoreCame out from Hilton on a recommendation from a friend and so glad we did! We had the Sopes for an appetizer, and you can absolutely tell the ingredients are 100% fresh! Had the shrimp dish, and my boyfriend had tilapia and shrimp. Very good flavors and just enough for portions. Drinks were delicious. Staff, just amazingly friendly and was so happy to tell us the area in Mexico her family was from. It was a great night!
MoreMenu is extensive; it was difficult to decide what to order. Decided on Pollo don Gollo and it was delicious! We were seated quickly and the server was so kind and attentive. Definitely will return.
MoreBest Mexican Food in western NY. Worth the drive from Rochester. Super fresh, delish and affordable. Drinks are spectacular as well. Service is awesome. If you want wholesome real Mexican food this is the place.
MoreAs I had mentioned to a friend, this is a near religious experience.Dined this past Sunday with a friend, sharing an order of Chiles Toreados, with fresh chips and salsa, with La Cazuela for my entree. All the food was top quality, and the addition of orange and lime to the Chiles Toreados took the dish over the top...a HOME RUN. Also, Mexican oregano made a huge difference in the salsa that they provided with the chips. YUM!Bright, fresh flavors were apparent at every bite. This place clearly earns a place on places to go to on trips "up north" with friends. Before I forget to mention too, our waitress was amazing. Fully knowledgeable about the menu. Checked on us frequently and made us feel like royalty. Thanks for a memorable experience!!
MoreI cant recommend this place enough. Have ate here numerous times and have never had a bad meal or service. Great little bar/wait area. Prices are very reasonable, food has always been on point. Casual atmosphere/ come as you are type of place.
MoreGreat food and staff. The prices are also great. I was not expecting such a huge burrito and it’s definitely worth it.
MoreAbsolutely amazing food. Service was great! One my favorite places!
The best part of my experience here was driving up. It’s a nice looking place, and maybe away from the holidays, they may have nice food. When I walked in, at least a fajita plate someone ordered was sizzling. When I was seated the greeter and waitress were friendly and pleasant. The chips and salsa I received, though was ice cold. It wasn’t terrible, but ice cold, it wasn’t pleasant. We ordered and my wife got up to wash her hands. We ordered Carnitas and they hit the table directly after my wife returned to the table. It felt way too quick and I could see there was no steam. Everything on the plate was flat, wilted and cold. The beans were pale and tasteless. My pork was more a pulled pork, old, cold and bland. We immediately got up and left.I drove an hour here based on reviews for authentic Mexican. What I received was nuked old food. Unacceptable.
MoreExcellent food. I had the Sopa and it was just the right amount of food. Please with the selection. Margarita was good.
MoreThis was hands down the best Mexican food I have had in the area. The enchiladas were incredible, and the chips & salsa were great. The ambiance is fantastic, from the murals, the music and the bar stools made from saddles. We will definitely be making this a regular stop!
MoreThe place is a quaint little location that is busy. The bar had a large selection and even one 60oz margaritas. The portions are great and all of the food was seasoned perfectly seasoned. I absolutely need to go back and try more
MoreAuthentic Mexican food! Friendly service and atmosphere. Good portions and a different variety. We got sweet corn for appetizer, very yummy. Tamales, fajitas and burritos, all hot and good. Margaritas were traditionally made, no mix. Will be returning.
MoreThe best AUTHENTIC Mexican food! Service and food are always great!
We loved it! Food was delicious! I had a taco salad my Hubby had a burrito . The waitress was was very pleasant and very knowledgeable of the food and drinks.
MoreFirst time going. The food was amazing. Excellent service. We will be going back again soon.
MoreAlways worth the trip out from Buffalo for authentic Mexican food. Quality horchata, and good portions. Try their dips!
MoreIT WAS AMAZING. Worth the hour drive to get here. What a meal. We will be back. Food was delicious, served hot and sizzling.
MoreI came here with the rest of my family. For a drink, I had a non-alcoholic Daiquiris, while my main meal was a Fajitas Tropical. The drink was good, but the food was great. And there was a lot of food, which I ate all of, in one sitting. For dessert, I had Fried Ice Cream. It was heavenly. If I could rate that ice cream, it would be 10/5. As it is, my rating is 5/5.
MoreWe drove an hour from Hamburg, NY to come here and were not disappointed. The prices are reasonable, there are plenty of options, and the food is fresh. There is even a self serve salsa bar.Reservations are recommended. We waited about 20 minutes for a table on a Saturday afternoon so it isnt too bad of a wait. Also their cocktails look amazing. Cant wait to come back!
MoreThis is one of my favorite restaurants in the region! Very authentic Mexican (Latinfood! The staff has always been very nice and helpful. The decor of the restaurant and background music makes you forget that you are still in the US. Food is very delicious! I love to order the Carne Assada. Originally from Brazil, i love my beef very thin and well seasoned, and this one has never disappointed me. Food is fresh and very homely.
