Nice park. Wish the basketball courts werent double rimmed and there was more courts. All in all not a bad spot. No restrooms and if there are clean water fountains, theyre not by the basketball court.
Nice park, but no restroom, which I believe makes it a "neighborhood park."
I take my 4 year old granddaughter to this park to play often. The playground is fairly shady and there seems to be nice kids there for her to play with with benches and a picnic area nearby to relax and keep an eye on her. I havent ever seen any drug addicts or homeless weirdos around there the times Ive been there so far. Great park!!
They have a nice foot ball field and basket ball and base ball Im not into the park but it okay
Grandkids had fun playing, beautiful day out enjoying the scenery.
Pretty standard park, no lights once its dark.
Nice park my daughters made friends right away. Very friendly area.
Small place to bbq. You shouldnt expect to had a good cook out. But has plenty of space for running around.
Super cool place to visit. Enjoyed the time spent here.
Great little park , clean. Only negative is no restrooms.
I give this park 4 stars simply because there are no restrooms. Other than that the park is really fun for children of all ages. There are swings and rock climbing. Net climbing too. Lots of slides. This park is set in a rich looking neighborhood so Ive yet to see any rift raft around. Theres also a basketball court and a huge field for other sports.
Nice park friendly neighborhood and clean Atmosphere.
Idk who took the picture of a lake and post it as part of the park. It was nice, had a soccer field , basketball court and a fairly good size playground for the kids. Not too many tables or BBQ area. Quaintly small park. NO restrooms
Great place to play basketball with my son. Early mornings before the heat are the best.
For what it is its decent. The playground is basic and small. And theres no bathrooms. Just like two drinking fountains. A basketball court. The parking is limited to whats available around the edges. Its in a neighborhood so across the street of all sides is a home. But the tree are huge and really shady. Its like a valley it dips so its fun to go and let your dogs run or play frisbee or use your drone and or lay down and relax. Its always usually not packed its discreet. Not the best in turlock but still decent
Great park my 3year old loved. They have swings which is a plus. This park doesnt have a bathroom.
Such a great park and family friendly for all ages!! Markley Park is clean and has a nice sized jungle gym for the kiddos. I truly love the wide fields of grass to run around! Will definitely be bringing a kite to fly next time my family and I visit!
Small city park with kids play area, basketball court and a few picnic tables. Open drainage area for throwing frisbee, playing catch, ECT.
Very good park lots of kids very clean
Nice except for the homeless person bathing in the water fountain 🤬
Nice park but no restroom
Nice park just wish it had bathroom
Wonderful park with a great amount of things to do. Love the houses nearby as well.
A great place to enjoy quality time with family & friends ! Not to mention the best public parks in Turlock to play Basketball !! 🏀
The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because theres no bathroom.
Clean and quiet, in a nice neighborhood next to a huge field. Monte Vista runs by the park (which is a busy roadbut the field provides a nice buffer from the playground area. 4 stars instead of 5 because I would appreciate there being more equipment for younger children. Its a tall play structure with many things to climb which is great for my 4 year old. There isnt much that my 1 year old can do besides swing. He can climb the stairs that go up the play structure qnd go down the slides but since it is so tall he needs constant, direct supervision. Playground is probably designed for ages 5-12, though.
great play area, large grass area and a basketball court. and also a bbq area with tables and chairs and covered area. nice little neighborhood. I think you have to ask the city to rent the area but idk.
This was Markley park from the last hard rain.
Beautiful park. A big open field to do all kinds of things. Or you can choose to just relax on one of the many benches surrounding the perimeter. You can walk the perimeter of the park and get in some good exercise. Lots of beautiful trees to look at. Good place for a BBQ while the children have fun playing on the toys.
Went there after dark and felt completely safe unlike some of our other parks in Turlock.
Great park in a nice neighborhood. The playplace is more for older kids, taller stuff but the little ones still have fun too with a few shorter slides and the rocking animals. Shaded tables for parties are there and nice basketball courts. If youre doing a party, heads up, no restrooms and tables are first come first served.
Its a clean park, looks safe for the most part. I havent seen any homeless camping out around here. My kids and I like it.
Lots of shade to sleep in.. and spaced out so your not trying to rest after assault or Eviction.. in a vagabound dogpile of addiction and mental Health..Im sure the slides and palyground is nice too.. if your into that sort of things. And the basketball court was in a little ditch like lake.. so Im Shure in flood in the winter.. but it looked hella like a Disney movie.. bball court they mighty dunks might of played on..so I liked that! Then I cried my self to sleep.. and the grass wasnt itchy..
I really like the park it has plenty of trees for shade !! Big enough field for a soccer game.
This park is so awesome. So many unique climbing opportunities, the grass is beautiful, the whole thing is clean. Yes. Just yes. My three year old had an absolute blast after I showed her how to use some of the equipment and we ended up staying for three hours.
My granddaughter and grandbaby walked over to the park had it not started to rain we would probably still be there. We had the best time.
Always a beautiful place to go to, the kids seem to have fun the playground looks clean hopefully people dont ruin it by not picking up their dog poop I always take along extra bags and offer them to people to pick up their own dogs poop, it seems to be fine they dont get offended I think some people just forget to bring bags to pick it up so I dont mind sharing! I just dont want to lose this park because its one of the most beautiful ones here in Turlock!
We love taking our dogs there. People are few and the grass is nice. I take a jog around the park. Very clean too.
Very nice. Big field for kids to run out fly a kite. Basketball court for older kids and adults. Nice play area. Nice covered picnic area. Nice neighborhood. Must watch small children on Berkeley st and Monte Vista sides because cars like to speed and roads can be busy. Dog friendly with poop bag dispensers.
Fantastic location and features! If you want a scenic track to walk, the walkway in the perimeter is great for that. If you want to play a game of ultimate Frisbee or futbol, the field is setup for your success. If you have children looking to climb and play, there is equipment for them. The trees offer great shade for picnics and spectators for those who want to play in the open field.
Well maintained play ground, but the grass is not the best. It can be really long, lots of weeds, and dirt patches by the end of the summer.
My family and friends love this park, a has lots of shade!
Its a great clean park for children and parties
This was our first time at this park and it is beautiful! Nice and clean, lots of shade, not crowded. We will definitely be visiting again.
Kids love the variaty of equipment to play on one of there favorites is the rock climbing wall, other wise the big field of grass to run around. The basket ball court is well made as well.
Play structure, BBQs, tables, benches, basketball court, larger open space, a nice park with just roadside parking.
Fun playground for the kids and a large field for many other activities. We had nice picnic lunch here watch the kids run off some energy and only had to leave because of there being no restroom.
People and park is amazing, no restroom though. Had to rush home since my child needed to go potty.
Nice newish playground as well as a basketball court and very large grass field, although the field has gone mostly brown during the drought.
Great park for kids, lots of shade and plenty of picnic areas. I would give it 5 stars if it had a restroom.
