Put in a call a couple of weeks ago about the blue green algae concern at Mozingo Lake. I was told by the resort that I needed to call City Hall to see if the lake still had the algae. I left a voice mail message and have never been called back. I did find an article from Jan 2020 that said signage has been posted at the lake and once the level of algae is acceptable the signage will be lifted.

This is about the sidewalks, streets, & park workers. They do their best to keep sidewalks in good condition, but it is up to each business & residence owner to keep sidewalks clear of any obstacles that might harm any person; such as ice, snow, sleet, or weeds growing between sidewalk forms. Use a garden spade, ice melt, or a snow shovel. The Parks, such as: Judah, Franklin, & Sisson Eek are kept very nice with beautiful flowers in an area in these parks. Mowed nicely in all parks in Maryville, Mo. Beal, Sunshine parks are for tennis, basketball, & softball. All have play equipment for children & eating outside shelters. I encourage most to visit the parks. Some workers in the past were 14 years of age & up that they hire only in summer if attending school. They help remove litter & help work on pothole repair & guide the Stop & Slow signs. Great workers they have been. Any worker 16 years of age, not attending school worked as they needed. These young people were from lower income homes & it helped to improve their lives & gave them a good start in life. Maryville does not hire young ages without strict rules. They can not work in a restaurant before the age of 16, unless they are lobby cleaners & trash removers of lobby & bathrooms. They can operate drive thru Windows by taking orders & payments for food orders only. At age 16, they can wash dishes, clean lobby, & bathrooms, remove trash, & work cash registers only. Fryers are too dangerous. They can work grill if it has the proper supervision by age 16 but not trash compactor. State of Missouri law. It is always nice to see teenagers working in restaurants & grocery stores, depending on their Store Rules & Guidelines. It encourages motivation for them even if it is under 9 to 15 hours a week for school attendees.

Great lake, good golf course, lots of roofies

The mayor cares more about the news focusing on a lake than focusing on getting justice for rape victims. Burn in hell.
