Bought a Maverick from MC Ford. Dealership was fair and friendly with no pressure tactics. Sales consultant spent considerable time explaing the vehicle to me as it was my first Ford. Will go back when I am interested in future Ford vehicles.

2nd vehicle in a row purchased through them. Pleasure to do business with. Scott Deetz always listens to his customers desires and tries his best to meet their needs.

So on the website when you schedule an appointment it shows you all this stuff like oil change, transmission chech, filters, and other things that theyre going to do with your vehicle that is included with the service that you need for your factory maintenance. They get my truck, did the recall part and absolutely nothing else said they dont do that but your website says you do. Then they dropped my truck off at my husbands job in the parking lot without telling him that thats what they were going to do. Left the truck in the parking lot doors unlocked keys on the dashboard and broad daylight no phone call or anything just left it. Highly unprofessional. Not happy not coming back. This is just ridiculous. I dont appreciate that at all.

Worst place i have ever purchased a vehicle. I purchased a used vehicle that I was told, was completely gone through and everything was in working order. First night found a gas leak, trim panels on the outside falling off as I am driving down the road. 30000dollar vehicle in the shop with expensive repairs in the first week. Will never do business here again

Great to work with, stayed after close to make sure I could view a vehicle I was very interested in. Worked to keep it within my budget. When it was slightly over. Great salesman, seem to be selective with what trade ins they sell which is a good sign they care about having repeat business. Fixed a minor issue prior to showing that the vehicle had developed. Plan to keep them in mind as my business begins to update its fleet.

The service was amazing. We never felt rushed or pushed into buying something we didnt like. We told Jason what our price range was and he showed us all of the options that the lot had. It was a great experience all around.

Very pleasant buying experience. Our salesman (Cody Bwas prompt and courteous with communication even though we completed the entire negotiation and transaction from an hour away. Made the hour drive to pick up our Ranger and were in and out in under an hour. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a new or used vehicle to give them a chance to earn your business.

Not an honest dealership, they clear check engine lights to sell the vehicle. My light came on the day after I bought it. After I mentioned this to a coworker, he had the same thing happen to him at this dealership. My fix was pretty simple and only costed a couple hundred dollars, but just shows their shady business practices.

Its about trust. It can be hard to find sales people that have our actual interests at heart. Recently, I needed another vehicle. I made a few calls around and had some offers made to me that seemed "questionable". I started stressing. Then I remembered Scott and the team at Mason City Ford. They really took good care of us some 4 years back. The van we got then is still rockin & rollin. So I called Scott. Not only did he remember us but in the space of one afternoon, he found us what we needed. Scott and his team went out of their way to cover all our needs and meet all our expectations. I know that sounds cliche, but it is totally true. In the end, I realized how much worry was wasted by not going straight to Scott and Mason City Ford. Trust matters. They earned mine!

I trust the advice I receive from the service staff that have taken care of my car since its purchase here in 2013. They are on time for appointments and provide shuttle service if I need it. In my opinion they are the best - absolutely excellent!!

Had my car (Lincoln MKXdetailed yesterday. Received a text to review their service 2 hours before I even got my car back so that was weird. They did a good job on the interior, but the exterior wasnt much better than if I had gone through the regular car wash. They did get the bugs off the front of the car and side mirrors, but the chrome wheel covers still had gunk on them and still had some white cleaning product residue on them. There was goopy mud looking stuff on the back where the back hatch door comes down. The guys that dropped off my car took off before I could even talk to them or review the quality of the job with them & I was standing right there in the driveway. I do appreciate that they pick up the car and deliver it back, but that is what they promised to do when we made the purchase so that should be expected.

I just had a question about something and Scott went above and beyond my expectations to help me. I really appreciate a dealership who is very helpful and can provide me with what I need instead of just saying we cant help you without even looking into it like my local dealer did. I will be bringing my new car here just for this next time I need service and will look at this dealer next time I need a new car. Thank you!

I took our 2016 Explorer here for a few recalls that needed to be done. The service staff was great. Communicated well when my vehicle would be done and were flexible as far as me picking up my vehicle. The entire process was very smooth and would suggest taking any work here!

I want to begin by saying we have nothing but praise for the people we dealt with while at the dealership. We had an appointment for transmission problems with our 36 motorhome but before we arrived the engine stopped as well and had to be towed. Even thought Mason City Ford does not usually work on larger vehicles they agreed to work on it to see if it was a transmission problem or an engine problem. As it turned out, they were not able to fix the motorhome due its size. They advised us as to what the next steps should be and treated us more than fairly. I highly recommend this dealership for their professionalism and workmanship.

What i appreciate most about the service department at Mason City Ford is their honesty. When they didnt think there was any need to investigate my car issue any further, they let me know rather than doing it anyway and wasting my money. I truly appreciate this!!

Appreciated the attentive sales staff who listened to our needs and quickly responded. After test driving four vehicles, we found the one that best fit our wishes and our budget-- including a kayak rack. They bent over backwards to make a good deal with us. Scott did a great job of telling all the details of my new 2020 Ford Ecosport. Coming from out of town the process was quick and done within a couple of hours. They have a great selection and walk you through the process of owning a new car.

Just bought a car from them and cant say enough about how good the experience was. Scott Deetz was my sales guy. I had a lot of questions which he was of course able to answer but there is an honesty about him that I appreciate. My problem: Needed to purchase a F-450 pickup to pull a large 5th wheel camper. Research found that low mileage used dually pickups were just about impossible to find and commanded a nearly new price to get. For the cost offset, I justified that getting a new F-450 made sense. The solution: I called local Ford dealers. After talking to about six local dealers (with some pushing to get options I couldnt justify, others unable to sell F-450s), I settled on visiting Scott Deetz at Mason City Ford; he listened carefully to my requirements and offered the exact configuration I needed to keep my costs down. I was very happy to make a deal with Scott because he didnt just open up a front door for me, he actually worked to get me the best deal. I had researched ahead of time what my invoice and msrp cost would be and he offered me a deal I couldnt ignore.. without being pushy or using any buy it now scare tactics. In summary: I waited a couple months and got exactly what I wanted (truck had to be special ordered). All I can say is - thank you very much Scott Dietz and Mason City Ford!

The service was fine. Unfortunately the only people I saw wearing masks or distancing were 2 other customers. There was no attempt at any Covid safety protocols, no distancing, no hand sanitizer or any other Covid precautions. I felt very unsafe. No one seemed to understand when I asked about a place where I might wait safely. It makes me want to spray my vehicle with sanitizer.

I went to look at a couple cars and had the most amazing experience. Zach made the test drives so much fun! I wasnt nervous at all!!! He answered every single question I had (which was a lot). He made sure everything was up to my standards. If you are looking for a stress free and fun car shopping experience, I would definitely recommend shopping with zach!!!!

I would never purchase a car from this cesspool. Initial purchase of vehicle of course was above average but when the Chrysler started having multiple mechanical issues suddenly the service disappeared. Wouldnt even call back after multiple attempts couldnt even get service on the phone . I would never recommend buying a car from this dealership

Mason City Ford is the best place to buy a car or get a car repaired. They were friendly, not overly up my butt salesman people. Genuinely knowledgeable and what they didnt know, they found out. I appreciated thier honesty and they understood what I was looking for. When my vehicle has an issue, the mechanics communicated everything well. I was impressed with the service and will only buy/repair at Mason City Ford!

I bought a 2010 MX-5 Miata from Mason City Ford Lincoln. I drove 330 miles to Mason City, IA to pick up this car and they made the entire process pleasant and worthwhile. Kevin McCane was amazing. He sent me pictures and videos and gave me ownership background on the car. Everything was handled as expected. I walked in and test drove the car. Signed papers for 3 mins and I was done. Both Kevin and Trent were outstanding. Thank you for taking care of me and making this buying experience so nice.

Staff was very friendly, accommodating, and seemed motivated to not just sell me "a vehicle", but to sell me "the right vehicle". Really appreciate the kindness and willingness to find the right fit by the staff. Really made me rethink my impressions on Ford after being raised in a Chevy household.

My wife and I received excellent service from this dealership. The staff hooked us up with a car of much higher quality than we anticipated and was also able to work with the local credit union to decrease the down payment required. They also worked with us personally to keep our car buying experience compatible with our busy work week.

My husband and I bought a Ford F150 from Mason City Ford. We had Kevin as our sales person he was wonderful. My husband feel in love with his truck the minute he saw it. Then 2 days later we drove away with my husbands new truck, which was yesterday afternoon. First off we are from California and my husband works for the windmills so we travel everywhere. So the truck had to be registered out of California the dealership could not answer our questions on whether we were going to have to take it to be smogged before it could be registered and offered me a 1800 to call and find out my self. Then 30 min after leaving the dealership my husbands tire pressure censor light came on. Now I was assured by Kevin when I asked that if anything went wrong shortly after buying the truck that they would help us out and fix it. Oh yes, they are fixing it and charging us 100% for it. So not only did we spend over 19,000 on a truck and waited 2 days before they called and told us we could come get it, we already have to put money( over 100 dollarsout to fix things on it, less then 24hrs later. I wish things could have went different.

The staff is friendly and helpful, the service department does a GREAT job, my cars were both perfectly detailed upon purchase, and the ladies in the office were super nice when I went to go sign the title to my trade! 5 Star Service!

This place did an oil change for us as well as all our warranty preventative maintenance.They also did all our safety call services for us.They went above and beyond for my husband and I and delivered our vehicle all the way back to Garner Iowa to our work and dropped it off for us.Since we work over the road we were having a hard time getting back there to pick it up.They were super kind to us and did an amazing job on all the work.We really appreciated everything they did and will continue to do all our service work here.Thank you all very much!

Recently traded in and purchased a vehicle with Kevin. I had found the car online and Kevin was prompt in reaching out and with his responses. Never felt pressured, and they were accommodating while we worked out high level details over the phone since Im over 2 hrs away in Cedar Rapids. When I came in to drive, Kevin had it warmed upnand ready to go. A couple hours later I was on my way home with the new vehicle. I left my sunglasses in my trade and Kevin was nice enough to mail them back to me! Would recommend Mason City Ford and would go back again. Nice to have a low pressure and laid back atmosphere vs the sometimes typical car sales approach.
