Masti - Indian Street Eats in Fulton County
Privilege
Food was good & staff were friendly and attentive.
My daughter and i went to the restaurant to try it for my birthday 10/15 and instead of the man showing us to a table like he did the Indian customers that came in to eat he TOLD us to have a seat at the last booth and the lady was very serious looking not friendly at all that stood next to him at the front desk he wasnt friendly either, we sat down at the booth and NO ONE CAME AND TOOK OUR ORDER WHILE WE WAS SITTING THERE but i watched him run for all the indian customers that came in after us thats to be seated or pick up orders. So we got up and left. Not friendly place or maybe they dont like black ppl.
MoreDelightful Indian restaurant. Very indian and I really enjoyed that. They have great specials, the best mango Lassi in town, and a fun cocktail menu.
MoreNice place for Indian food in atlantaWill definitely make me come again to this place surely.
MoreFood was great. My wife and I really enjoyed the food. The Samosas were very good. Will definitely go again.
MoreGood street food and very spacious. We had pani puri and Manchurian momos which was really nice.
MoreAmbience is very good. The menu also had varieties different than what you get on a normal restaurant. We liked Veg Hakka noodles a lot but were a bit overcooked. The review is only for vegetarian dishes. Will love to visit again and try some more vegetarian dishes again.
MoreFirst time trying Indian food and it was delicious!! Butter chicken with garlic naan was sooo good!! Full of flavor I had it twice already this week lol ! Customer service was great! Definitely a must try!!!
MoreThe lady at front desk is very serious and shown lot of attitude while taking order as if she is offering a free meal. Felt really bad, not going back for sure and spending my hard earned money. Felt same in last visit but other guy was also there who was nice in taking order, so didn’t mind. Should have verified reviews after first visit
MoreLot of Variety Indian Foods !! Love this place , great place to hangout with family and friends!!
MoreWorst experience ever! When we arrived, we were the only ones in the restaurant. Got our water quickly, but then NOTHING! We sat there for over 10 mins waiting to order. No one would come to our table. We finally got the server’s attention and told him we were ready, but instead of taking our order, he passed us off to the girl at the front and they actually ARGUED about who was going to take our order! Turns out - neither one did!! They just continued to argue. It was unbelievable. After 5 mins of watching this crazy scene, we got up and walked out. As we were heading out, we stopped at the front and told them it was the worst experience we had ever had and they could care less. (By the time we left, several other diners had come in and were also complaining about no one taking their order. Just for the record - they weren’t understaffed. There were PLENTY of employees just standing around doing nothing!)
MoreFour of us had visited last evening and we had the rude shock of of our life. In past we really enjoyed the pani puri and momos at Masti but yesterday, both these key items were very disappointing. Not only were the momos uncooked, the pani and chutney, respectively, looked as if they were filled with green and red food coloring. The servers were also very rude and raised their voice at us a few times. There was also an extremely misogynistic and stereotyping picture in the ladies bathroom. I don’t know if they thought it was funny but especially in this day and age, these type of messages should not just be lying around. Overall, an extremely upsetting experience 10/10 would NOT recommend.
MoreTerrible. I love Indian food and have eaten a lot of it in many different places over the years and I would be surprised if an Indian person made this food. The "flavors" were bland and just not right. Tasted like it came out of a poor quality brand jar. The raita was sour. The vegetables and chicken were mushy and just tasted...old. Nothing tasted fresh. The worst part was finding a hair in it. Completely inedible, hope I dont get sick from what little I did eat of it.
MoreIf I could I would rate it a -5. Absolutely disgusting 🤮! Don’t eat here. They have okay service and disgusting food! If you like good tasty food eat somewhere else but not here! But if you haven’t eaten in a year you can eat here! Also the fact that this was recommended to us 🤮. Just don’t eat here this was a first and a last time/experience plus the food is extremely expensive you could have much better food somewhere else for the same price. Our bill was $55 for 4 items all trash plus the guy who was serving us doubled the price to $110 dollars luckily my family found the mistake! AGAIN I REPEAT don’t eat here🤮🤮.
MoreTheir Chinese bhel is very tasty. It is very chatpati. They have some good street food. Like their amritsari fish and chips. Gobi Manchurian is also good. Quick service. Lovely food. We always visit when craving for chatpati Indian street food.
MoreGreat place to have some Indian street food!! We ordered Pani puri, Bollywood masti, garlic naan and chicken lababdar. Everything was so delicious and my favorite was Pani puri. Their curry was very creamy, buttery and flavorful. If you love Indian food, this place is a must try!
MoreOverall nice place with good customer service and food. The pizza dosa was okay but Chinese bhel was best!
MoreFound hair in the potatoes and a big fly in the kulfi - servers didnt bother to apologize and just asked if we wanted a replacement. Needless to say, we are not going back- this place now lacks basic hygiene and customer service- which is a shame since we have enjoyed it over the years.
MoreWith out a plan I went there and the food was amazing. May be I can say, its a North Indian street food. What I tried was!!!Deconstructed Samosa Chaat - 9/10Rose Falooda Kulfi - 9/10Noodles - 9/10Chicken masala burgers - 9/10Spiced Keema burgers - 9/10Chili chicken - 8/10Chicken vindaloo - 8/10Masti masala fries - 10/10Mumbai quesadilla chicken 65 - 8/1065 Alfredo korma pasta - 7/10Lamb Kadai - 9/10Meat samosa - 8/10Kurkuri bhindi fries - 9/10Masti Chicken Chops - 10/10Pani Puri - 9/10Generally I like Indian fusion, I like this too for several dishes. But sometimes I dont like meat and they are definitely not good/prepared for delivery packaging. They definitely need to work on packaging.
MoreWent for light evening snack/tea after movie at Regal. Had pani puri and chai tea. The atmosphere is good/clean but the food is meh at best. The green (chilliwater was bland and had an unnatural green color which was very likely due to heavy use of food coloring. The potato mash looked like it had some spice powder in it but was bland. The tamarind water/chutney was decent though, but the overall dish was disappointing and definitely lacking in the kick that the typical Indian gol-guppa is supposed to give you.The worst were the chai teas - they obviously came from a machine (had the typical taste of powdered creamer or powdered milk that overpowered the teaand had no strong tea taste that defines a good Indian chai. When one goes to a sit down Indian restaurant, one at least expects a good cup of homemade/handmade chai.
MoreHorrible experience. Beginning of january 2022 when we went there and got to our table and started chatting with my friends. A waitress came and asked us to keep it down because one of their employees was sick and sleeping in the same area and he had high feverand coughing!!! I asked them why would you allow someone to sleep or rest when he is so sick and putting your customers at risk!! To that, there was no answer and they were being so careless about it. I understand that there is always a risk when we go out BUT allowing a sick employee to be in the same area where others are eating is sickening and putting others at risk. We did inform other people in the restaurant of the situation and immediately left. In total we were there for 10-12 minutes and 4 out of 6 friends got sick within 2-3 days. I think its because of highly infectious omicron virus. Please beware of this kind of businesses who are putting others at risk and have no apology or remorse!!
MoreLike the food here.It is not spicy as it looks like.Food is good and we enjoyed having food here.We had chicken 65, Paneer Butter masala, butter naan, roti,Lassi, lamb gravy.
MoreWhile Im not an expert on authentic Indian anything, I do know that this place makes incredibly tasty food. Their selection is huge and I have yet to find something I didnt like. My favorites are the Pao Bahji, Vada Pav, various dosas, and the fried fish. You MUST try this place!
MoreAt atmosphere is very nice and clean. Food was delicious and the service was fast. Customer service was great and would highly recommend for family, friends and if you want to try out new fusion items. Cant wait to go back!
MoreThe concept here is amazing. The menu sounds great and has exciting options but the execution was meh. The dosas were unflavorful. Especially the sezchuan. It was neither a dosa nor sezchuan. The bihndi fries had no chat masala on them so they were bland. The papadi chat was mostly papar. The butter chicken tacos were just their butter chicken curry wrapped in a dosa. The thirst quenchers were all amazing. I recommend the jaljeera and Aam Pana. I was so excited for this place but left extremely disappointed
MoreBest Indian Food EVER... Lick the plate good. Payol and Ankita took care of our family and gave us 5 Star service. The chef must be extremely well trained and a genius. I could eat there every day. The atmosphere is excellent. Wonderful people and amazing food. We are going every week now and I hate writing this because I always want a fast table with fast service like today... Bravo.
MoreWe visit the restaurant almost weekly and have consistently good food! Friendly service and they remember what we order. Good biryani and more. We enjoy dine in and take out; food is fresh and good quality. Best Indian food around Johns Creek for sure. We have tried many others, but keep coming back to Masti.
MoreWe had the worst experience ever. The servers behavior was very rude. We were here for almost 2 hrs and we had to repeatedly ask for our order. One of the female servers were very rude. When we asked for our ordered she started shouting at us and when we wouldn’t listen, she got the manager and he started shouting at us too. The food was ok but the service was really bad. Worst experience we ever had in the US.
MoreI have tried this palace couple of time and the quality was way lower than the Decatur branches. Meat was raw and definitely was not cooked the same day. Staff were unprofessional and environment is not cleaned well. I just gave it 2 stars because I have good experiences dining in Masti main branch in Decatur.
MorePurely food based review:Papdi Chat Big appetizer - delicious but wish there was a better balance of those potato crisps and toppings.Fish & Chips - Amazing Indian take on the dish, love the curry spice in the batter and chips were fresh & crispy.Bollywood Masti Dosa - Super fun and comes with a few curry dipping sauces underneath.Tikka Masala Pasta - My #1 dish when ordering food delivery from the restaurant. Super flavorful & filling. Would highly recommend this dish!If you want to try more Indian street food cuisine, this is the place in Johns Creek!
MoreOrdered two items today and specifically told them to keep the spice level mild as last time the item was super spicy. All the did is put the spice level as mild on the ticket and made the food super spicy. Called the restaurant and the person said that they will let chef know. Pathetic service.
MoreMasti Indian Street Eats was a wonderful dining experience. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the butter chicken quesadillas, lamb chop masala, naans, papdi chat and the Masti Wings!! We live a bit far from the area and was visiting another place near the restaurant. But Id drive all the way there just to eat the food again. Specially the butterchicken quesadilla. The staff were super friendly too!!
MoreThis is a unique Indian restaurant near the Atlanta area. The menu items are not just the same-old gravies and biryanis. They have a lot of western snack options with Indian twists. Definitely recommend.
MoreIts a great Indian Fusion restaurant.. had Chilli Fried Momos, Mumbai Quesadilla, Kachori chat and Nimbu Pani... Everything was good and tasty.. although Kachori chat was more like Sev Chat.. Place is well maintained and Ambience is good and always busy.. slightly heavy on the pocket.. but we like the food and go back regularly
MoreDefinitely wont be going back! Food was great but the receptionist was very disrespectful, she had an attitude the entire time. We went in to order take out and after I went back to pick up the order she handed me the bag and turned her head the other way. She didnt even say thanks for coming after I said thank you. And we werent even the last set of people to order so I dont understand the reason behind her giving us an attitude. 05/21/22.
MoreWe have been wanting to try this for a while but glad that we were finally able to! Most of the items in the menu looked interesting and we ended up trying Steamed Vegetable Momo, Mumbai Quesadilla with paneer, Uttappam Tacos and Aam Panna. Momos were disappointing to be honest but the rest were good. We really loved the paneer quesadillas and Aam Panna. Overall a good Indian fusion restaurant resembling Chai Pani. Will definitely visit again and try other items!
MoreIt was my first time stopping at this location. We usually go to the one in N Druid Hills, but due to being on that side of town we decided to stop here. Really didnt enjoy at all. Felt like my drive to the N Druid Hills location would have been worth it. The service was horrible. I would never tell my friends and family to go there. They didnt come once to ask if we are doing alright or take the order once we completed the appetizers. My wife had to get the attention of person taking care of us again and again. If they were busy I would expect the service to be horrible. But that wasnt the case. The glasses they served water in was filthy dirty. We were served in different kind of glass as well. Didnt understand why was that at all. For that reason I gave them 2 stars. The food was good. I will always be honest about the food. I dont know if they judge people or not. But to be honest the way we got service it really felt like they judge people. Dont recommend this location to anyone who is looking for great service as well with great food.
MoreGood food! They had live cricket on TV, thought that was cool. Wish the samosas were bigger, they are delicious. Chicken 65 was a little too saucy but tasty nonetheless.
MoreGood Interior . Dosai and chicken momos was good. Chicken Biryani was on spicier side .Pani poori very hard to break and food was pricier than it’s worth. But service was good
MoreGreat food, visited here multiple times and experience gets better everytime. Although wait time was longer today possibly due to heavy crowd on friday eve. It appeared that delivery orders were prioritized over dine in. But overall positive for food quality and taste.
MoreGood place to hangout for Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner Great Indian style Ambience neatly maintained well mannered staff. Tasty and Delicious food specialist in fusion food
MoreValue for moneyThali meals for $9.99Small portions but good enough.I liked their butter naan.Good service, good ambiance.
MoreThis is our first time visiting here, atmosphere and ambiance was good. Service is fast as well. We tried bunch of items. Gol gappa, chicken momos. Chili chicken, chicken 65 dosa, Hakka noodles, and mixed sizzler. Drinks were refreshing . We liked food it’s was ok. My only issue is with Hakka noodles. We didn’t not like it, something was missing In the noodles and I got a after taste of eating noodles that are stored for a while. It might not be the case but I felt like that. So I reduced one star for that. Other than that service was good , for street/ tiny eats with fusion it’s a good place to go
MoreThe chicken 65 pasta tasted great, but I was expecting a little more of a unique flavor. It couldve passed as a Cajun type pasta dish to be honest, but it was still really tasty! Also my first time trying pani puri which was fun, but the fish and chips werent that great. Very dry and flavorless unfortunately 😅
MoreI have been a regular customer at Masti for about a year now and throughout all of my visits I can honestly say the atmosphere is great and authentic, customer service is excellent and very friendly and the food has been veryy delicious and flavorful on 99% of my visits. I ❤️Masti (:
MoreWas ok, food and atmosphere werent so good that I would go again. They were understaffed, but did great. I would reccomend reading the menu online and having an idea of what you want to save time.Would reccomend the Buttered Chicken Tacos, Garlic Naan and Chicken Tikka Masala.Dip the Garlic Naan into Tikka Masala sauce. Mmmm truly made this meal.Alcoholic drinks were real bad, we didnt get half way through them. Mine had a thick curdling at the top that shouldnt of happened with the ingredients.Atmosphere doesnt know what it wants to be. My booth seat bottom was broken and the booth back was wobbling smacking the guy behind me.Prices were pretty normal. Drinks really were not worth $11 each....
MoreFace: 5/5 food: 4/5Interior: 5/5 experience 4/5Indian Fusion restaurant with wide variety of interesting dish. Perhaps the uniqueness of this restaurant that compels customers to come is the wider variety of fusion Indian food you wont see at other Indian restaurants.Server was great. He was friendly and did a great job helping us decide on what to eat.Interior was rustic design. It was hard to see where they were going with a lot of their quirky and interesting wall decor, but I think thats what they were going for.We ordered multiple food, but the lighting in the restaurant made it hard for me to get good pictures of most of them. They were mostly good. I would have preferred their pasta dish was without the naan. I think the naan made the dish look heavy. Besides, there.were not much sauce left over afterwards. If anyone really wanted, they could order naan separately since a la carte naan tasted better cause its served crispier and warmer (probably using tandoor or something similar). Either marking the pasta price down by a dollar or replacing the naan with something less "heavy" might make this dish be more wholesome. The fun and colorful interior with interesting dishes on the menu makes this restaurant a unique experience and worth coming back few more times.
MoreFood was really delicious and reasonably priced. Had the classics for meal and tried a couple of new apps that I’d never heard of. Service was a little lacking (would have liked to have ordered another round of drinksbut everyone was nice, mask and social distance compliant. Would definitely go back when in the area.
MoreSuch fantastic food, and the portions to the cost were amazing. We got the momo dumplings, paneer tacos, paneer quesadilla, and paneer sliders. The shredded paneer was done so well, and the take they used with it made the food inventive and as someone who grew up with traditional indian cuisine this was a refreshing and bright take on food Ive had for....ever
MoreIf I could give this restaurant no stars I would. The service was horrible the waiter barely came to our table whole time me, my wife and daughter where there. The drink my wife ordered was a lemonade that was only refilled once at the end of our dining experience. Despite telling the waiter the few times he came to our table we would like a refill. I ordered a unsweet tea and what was brought to my table was a sweet tea with milk and sugar. And that was brought to our table only after we told the waiter he forgot to bring me my drink. My appetizer arrived before my drink did. And speaking of my appetizer I ordered Trio Samosas which is fried potatoes and peas wrapped in a pastry. The appetizer couldnt have been freshly made because the potato was cold inside of my samosas. The only up side to this horrible experience was that the main course was good. Both me and my wife liked our main course. And its not like they where busy we were one of about five families in the whole entire restaurant. So I can only imagine a Friday or Saturday night packed house how bad the dining experience would be. I forgot to say are waiter didnt have other tables he just neglected to take care of ours. I will never step foot into this establishment ever again.
