Matoka Cheesesteaks & Burgers in Praha 11

I do not understand why someone make "Philly cheassteak" without cheese. We have ordered: Original Philly. Than bun/baguette was probably from yesterday. Maybe we were to early and they had to run of previous day stock. Anyway, I do not understand why there was no CHESSE. Meat with paprika+onion - fine, no big gastronomy. But when you missed second most important ingredient = CHEESE. I love tv there with videos how it is done around the world and you always see a big spoon of cheese, but here you get meat + some pepper mayonnaise. I have to find original one, this one was my first and last.

Not only do they have great cheesesteak but good burgers too. Greasy and delicious how they should be. The special of the day was free drinks so we got free cokes too.

We were told by the staff that the foods here are halal and we had it confirmed again by Malaysian students who happened to dine in there as well. Had a nice spicy beef and chiken cheesesteaks.

1st time visit and wasnt disappointed. Enjoyed the philly cheesesteak. Highly recommended 👍

Gooey and delicious cheesesteaks and awesome home style fries. The guys here are very friendly and willing to please. Both wolt and pickup orders were perfect and would definitely order again. Skip the Coke and Fanta and try the other fizzy drinks they have in the cooler while you wait...Mio Mio and Proviant, etc.

Ate there with my wife. Two different burgers seemed like they had no flavor at all, they have several things on the menu that are just flat out not what they say they are (Oklahoma onion burger, poutine), and at 300+czk each for a burger fries and a coke I would expect much better, we both left food on our tray and just left.French fries were decent.

It might be a little pricy here, but the portion is HUGE! Excellent service as well, so overall, worth the money.

Probably the best cheesestakes in Prague! Burgers are decent too. The new location is closer to my office, so now I can go there more often during lunchtime. Yummy!

Ordered from these guys twice now in their new spot in Prague 9. Cheesesteak hit the spot, messy, hot, cheesy. Their poutine, however, leaves a lot to be desired as it misses a couple of key components of poutine, gravy and cheese curds . Ended up with cheesy minced beef fries which was rather dry. Maybe this is their take on poutine, which is fair enough, but I would not call it poutine.

It is a very good place with amazing Cheesesteaks. I have been to this multiple times and have tried the Original Philly and Jalapeno Beef Cheesesteaks. Both of them are very tasty and leave you absolutely full. The staff is also very friendly and nice.

Just found this joint with my husband and was nicely surprised! The BEST street food in Prague and really big portion per those prices! Highly recommend!

I had days when I just ordered breakfast, lunch and dinner from this place because their food is just perfect. Poutine fries and cheesesteaks from Matoka rules.

I have ordered cheesestake. I dont like the quality of the meat, its dry and has chewy texture, which is super weird considering that its cut in such small pieces. Overall pretty boring taste, I expected more flavour from American street food. The fries were soggy, extremely.

Came here for a burger but they didn’t have half of the things in the menu the day I came unfortunately. Other than that, the fries were great.

I was visiting Prag and the Instagram page of the Resteraunt took my attention.Yesterday we tried the cheesesteaks and the French fries box.Today we tried the burger.The food was delicious and very fresh and high quality. I really enjoyed all of it. Eating The philly French fries was something special because I have never eaten fries in this variation. And it really fascinated me how nice the stuff was while cooking our food talking to us and joking with us making us feel special.Greetings to our brother from Kyrgyztan. Always wanted to try a cheesesteak and this is definitely a nice place to do so. Very greasy, very unhealthy, a true cheat food - not something anyone would like to eat very often. Its also probably not an ideal meal for a delivery.

Guys, you should try this! Super soft bun with meat, cheese and vegetables. All this melts in the mouth. I cant live without this food. Thank you for being !Now Im addicted to you Matoka !And the staff are just the sweetest people, you are incredible!🐾🥰

Delicious food and the service was quick and very courteous. The price was low and best of all, they use halal meat. Definitely a must visit everytime you are in Prague

I had the most amazing cheeseburger here - Matoka burger. My friends enjoyed the Philly poutine!The handmade fries are insane. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend this place.

I have been dieing to visit this place. Great steak and cheese sandwich and the hamburger was out of this world. The service was good but the two employees definitely need more help. I am also happy their meat were halal.My only complaint is their prices. That is why I gave them 4 stars.

I dont know what is happening to this place, but in the beginning when we ordered couple of times - poutine and food in general was superb! But lately, its really bad! Missing sauces, poutine recipes changed, fries soggy and tasteless... Im hoping place will recover before its too late!

Just had a cheesesteak sandwich from them and sweet paprika fries with sauce. Fries were soggy and cold, almost no cheese in the cheesesteak, few onions. All of this according to the menu was supposed to be 257 crowns. Came home, checked my balance, realised too late that I was charged 388 crowns (guys, check in your history of orders for 13.8.2021). I really liked the place when they opened, but then burger buns started to get too dry, one time I got some different sandwich instead of a jalapeño cheesesteak and now this. Kind of disappointing.

I ordered food in this restaurant a few times and everything was perfect. Until the last time, when I found a piece of glass in burgers meat. When I called them they were just trying to convince me that it is not possible, they didnt even apologize for that. After they called a manager they promised me to give the money back and make a new burger for me but I had to go to the restaurant myself. When I came there they told me that they didnt promise me anything but in this case they can just do another burger for me, still were trying to convince me that its not possible. Didnt say sorry even. I didnt want to argue and just left...

Best Place For Cheesesteaks in Prague. They got delicious and crispy French Fries, Onion Rings are so tasty, and their poutine is so good. Highly recommend this place

I have been craving a cheesesteak since I moved to Prague. Finally found one and it was perfect. Many it’s great when a place has a fixed limited menu because they do it perfect. Burgers and cheesesteaks and fries. It’s perfection.

Great place with great food. Hip and cool interior with kind team behind counter. Probably the only place in Prague considering comfort of their customers so much that you get offered plastic gloves. They is a reason ....the sandwich is so juicy that you gonna appreciate this touch. Must see place for all cheese and meat lovers!

Probably the best philly in Prague (which arguably isnt a high bar to clear, but still ;). Wicked good fries to boot.Place is really small (more like take-away with a few stoolsand will need better ventilation eventually, but the crew is friendly and focused on quality.PS: for some reason they only sell non-alcoholic beverages, so bear that in mind yall beer junkies out there.

So happy that a place like this opened just by our home! It quickly became one of the most favourite. Cheesesteaks are juicy, burgers are very balanced and tasty. Something that is tough to find in newly opening places and even in popular ones. Already tried several options from the menu and will definitely come back for more.
