I go to this Mavis location all the time and everytime I’m here I’m always treated so well. So far every employee has been super friendly and goes out of their way to help me with any car issue I have. Even if they can’t find the issue right away, they give me their name and info for when the issue arises again. Always satisfied with their work unlike some other locations I’ve been to.

Amazing service! Professional polite and efficient!

I came in with a burnt out headlight that was two months old. The manager, Trevor, not only replaced it but honored the warranty. I cant say enough by how great that was. Its a nice large, clean shop. Ill definitely be back.

It would be nice if they fixed their free air air hose to fill up your tires other than that Mavis is a good place for service of your vehicle and to buy ties They also buy and work directly with tire rack so if you want to order tires and have them installed on your car you can order them from tire rack and Mavis will do that for you

I live in Melville and this is the closest location to my apartment so I figured I would give them a try. I found tires online and made a reservation but I just wanted to confirm if they had them and if it was the lowest price. The first time I called and asked the girl was basically not listening to me when I was asking her about the prices. I just wanted the prices for the cheapest they actually had in stock but she thought I was asking about online. I know they can give prices so I asked her is there someone I can speak to and she goes “No, I’m the manager” lol. So when I started to explain again I got an Oh and she gave me the price of two tires which came up to double the price online. Then I realized I had to change my appt time so I called back and got an Alex. He proceeds to ask me about the tire size and I don’t have this info readily available so I tell him I can give him the order number. He says he wants to write up a new ticket. So I then asked if it would be easier to just do another one online. He catches an attitude asked him for his name and he answers says have a good day and hangs up. Yikes! If you’re looking for customer service you may want to avoid this place.

Worst place. Guy tried to scam me and yelled at me over the phone and I’m person when trying to pick up my car. Took my car to another mechanic right after and there was no issue. Will never go back to this place. My father also went for an alignment and tire rotation and the car continues to swerve!!! Wish I got his name to publicly say it but he needs to learn to be professional and just talk like a decent human being. Front desk woman was very pleasant and amazing, only best thing about this location. Keep your eye out for scams.

Took 2021 Tesla Model Y in for NY State Inspection and it was quick and easy.

My whole family comes here and we have a pleasant experience every time! Mickey & Kris are the 2 I deal with the most and they’re always very helpful, everyone else is also nice. They communicate and truly do accommodate our needs. It’s great to feel comfortable and trust that they’ll do their best!

Always have some kind of issue with the service at the 1919 Broadhollow Rd location. For ex. They did not rotate my tires last time I was there even though it was on the paperwork. They even lost my paperwork and had to reprint it. Another time I dropped my car off at noon for a tire patch repair and it was still not done when I went to pick it up at 5pm. Also, I purchased a set of Mavis tires and they are worn out within a year. Will not return to this location or use Mavis tires in the future.

I had a great experience today! I came in for an oil change today with no reservation. I was able to get my oil changed in a timely fashion, as if I had a reservation. I expected to wait awhile. Thank you for good customer service!

Friendly fast service!Checked out my car right away and gave me a detailed walkthrough and understanding of what needed to be done and then hooked it up with some extras like windshield wiper replacement without asking cuz they said it needed replacing.

I think I am going to do my best to give this Mavis business in the future because they did a favor for me and I appreciate it! I was going to firestone. I needed the passenger side mirror replaced on my car, I also need some body work in the front but thats another thing, probably something Mavis cannot do. So when I went to firestone after being promised by a rep on the phone and a prior employee in that store that they would put a car mirror on for me if I bought one I was told they wouldnt put an outside part on the car. So I walked out and told the guy I was dealing with that Ill never use firestone again. I was trying to find a place that would do it because I promised my boyfriend Id come to his job on his lunch break because I was off of my job for working Saturday. So I drove near where my boyfriend works and noticed Mavis and on a long shot I decided to go in. After a little time spent looking the store manager thankfully agreed to put my mirror on and it didnt cost too much money at all. Thank you Mavis for this favor and if Im able to I will do my best to have my car serviced by you in the future!

Mickey is amazing! He is someone I have followed over the years as they move him from store to store. Every store he goes to runs excellent. He is the best manager in Mavis and they are lucky to have him.

Friendly, courteous service! Had to come here after another location did a lousy job and they corrected the problem quickly. I recommend!

Do not go there! First very rude after you drop your car . They hang up on people and are very rude on the phone. They make things up such battery is low or your rear shocks need changing to upsale you. Dont waste your time. Goto another Mavis location. The mechanics do not clean their finger prints or the oil marks inside the car.

Dont go there. Had brakes done still making a terrible noise after going there 4 separate times. Problem is still not fixed. Then i was told its my fault and they are not giving me my money back when iam still having the problem. They are terrible. I will be taking action to get my money back so I can go somewhere else to get it done right.

They were very courteous and pleasant. Work was done well and in the right amount of time. Covered the job under warranty for tires that were driving me crazy with the pressure drop and need for air every other day. They fixed it thank good

I made an appointment at 2pm for an inspection. I arrived at 2pm and was checking in for my appointment when the guy behind the counter stopped me to ask the man behind me what he needed not sure why but I didn’t say anything. I was told my car would take 1.5 hours for the inspection even though he told me a 2019 inspection will take only a few minutes I had 2 cars ahead of me. At 4pm I called and was told my car was not worked on yet and I had 3 cars ahead of me. I drove to Mavis to find out what was going on because I had a 4:30pm class I had booked and paid for that I was going to miss. At 4:10 I was told it’ll be another 15-20min the guy who had been helped behind me at 2pm was there picking up his keys because his car was ready even though he didn’t have an appointment and I did. I told them I was going to miss my class and the rude guy from earlier turned to his co worker handed him my keys and said she can do whatever she wants. The other guy asked me what I wanted to do I took my keys and left. I ended up missing my class so not only did I lose out on money from missing the class I also still have no inspection. I’ve never met someone so rude in my life and will never return.

I want to rate this location 0 stars.This is a TERRIBLE company to have service your car. They cant properly install brakes and will damage your vehicle. I went for an inspection with a brake change and ended up with a broken bumper, scratched trunk and broken tail light.Once your vehicle is damaged, they are NOT quick to resolve the issue. The regional director Mike D willnot contact you or make any effort to appease you as a customer.I recommend ANYWHERE except Mavis tire.

I scheduled an appointment for a tire change and wanted to add an alignment. I called to add it and was told just to bring it in and they can add it on then. When i called the store direct to change my appointment time I confirmed the alignment again. They then called me back later in the day to confirm the appointment. The next day when i arrived i was told that the alignment machine has been down for a week. Why waste my time and tell me i can add it when its not working? Now i have to go to a different store to get this down so my new tires dont get messed up.

I had my car towed in with a flat at noon. The manager "greeted" me by saying, "you dont think youre going to drive out of here today, do you?" After telling me that the tire needed to be replaced and that he might be able to get the tire tomorrow he realized that "his machines cant handle that size tire" (its a BMW stock rim and tire). I had the car towed 35 miles to my local Firestone who repaired the tire before the end of the day. Never going back there again.

Made an appointment online and had my car promptly taken into the garage for service. Didnt take long at all for 4 tires and an alignment. Extra plus is there is a Burger King directly next door so you can go eat while you wait. I would definitely come back to this branch next time I need tires .

Great people, great place, lack of communication. I never complain because I worked in food and retail for years so I understand things happen. This is my second visit to Mavis in general and this location. I did need a lot of work done I admit, but I never receive any calls for when my vehicle is ready for pick up or needs to stay over night on both visits. I do receive calls for additional work and charges though. It is inconvenient feeling blind in this situation not knowing when or if i’ll have my car same day as drop off, but again i understand things happen.

Hi everyone. Heres a review of the worst place to get a simple tire change and alignment. During my time there they raced my 450hp Audi up and down the street two times for a "test drive" with two different mechanics and did so for over 15 min. I saw them do this as I stood by their little drag strip hearing my engine redline. When back they made comments among coworkers about the engine looking under the hood and gawking. (No need to open the hood on the alignment bay). Also they left wonderful scratches all over my rims. All blame was always deflected and a slight discount was given for a severe nick to a rim. When I went home and cleaned the tar off the rims with water, I come to find out that many long and deep scratches were all over the painted rims (original from Audifrom poor handling. I called the manager and understood my trouble but did nothing to resolve it. All were kind, but clearly just to keep me calm and blame me for damages. If you drive anything you care about avoid at all costs. Theyll damage your vehicle all while taking it for a spirited joyride. No respect for customer property whatsoever.

First impression is huge. I had a great experience at this Mavis location. Much better than the Deer Park location. Service was great and the technician went above and beyond customer service wise to patch my tire. I will return for my tire needs.

Trevor is the best employee in this facility of Mavis discount tire in farmingdale. I have gone to other Mavis discount tire but NOTHING compares to the service here, I have never been satisfied like this. This man should be employed of the month, he is the best of the best on what he does and I’ll gladly come here next time I have issues with my car.

Bryan and the staff at this location were top notch and went above and beyond. Had an issue with my tires and alignment and Bryan stopped at nothing to rectify the problem. The professionalism and courtesy shown was excellent. Anyone I can recommend to go to this location I will be telling them to go here.

Came to Mavis to get car inspected after seeing my daughters car is over due and of course today she leaves for school 700 miles away. Carl took me right in and got me done within the hour and saved our day. Ask for Carl when you come in won’t find a nicer, more helpful person behind the counter.Thanks Carl

If you care about the appearance of your wheels, Id stay away from this place. I dropped off my brand new car w/2,500 miles on it for set of 4 high performance all seasons ($800+and they scratched all 4 wheels. Long story short - they reimbursed me their cost for repairing 1 wheel ($75and blamed other damages to the stiffness of the tires (yes, you read that correctly). They also told me that I wouldnt see the scratches on the inner side of the wheels once the brake dust got on it (dumbfounded). Rewind it a bit, they initially called me a liar when I told him the price I was quoted over the phone; I had to call their callcenter myself to prove to them (this is after them listening to the recordings and me waiting 40 minutes). I shouldve walked out then, but I gave them a chance since Ive bought 2 sets of tires over the years w/my previous car. I cant speak for all the mechanics in there, but wow Fred.
