Service was slow and items were out of stock. Like these pretzel dogs that were featured when we walked in. Food we did get was good-ish tho.

Food is great 👍👍But darn its a tragic let down restaurant quality atmosphere paired with plastic ware and To-go containers for your eat in experience for bowls of soup. The large serving plates are excellent plastic plates. The better quality sturdy plastic ware for the baked potatoes are nice. Still just 3 star excellenceThe sports bar next door has all the plates and bowls and metal spoons knives and forks. Prices are more expensive but Im cool with it. Raised my level of appreciation.Im tragically disappointed in this failure to provide a better service.And I spent $27at the sports bar next door for a good meal with 30 TVs and music. chicken kabob with rice and broccoli and soup and cup of water including a $7.60 tipOverall this location is near $30 for a good mealI spent $28 on my full meal at McAlisters today.Soup and Baked potato and chili with a tea. Including a $2.38 tipOverall its a ok experience more expensive for less of the quality I prefer in my dining experience. Its more of a fast food experience and less of a restaurant style I thought I was paying for.

I just had the chicken club sandwich. Not pleased at all. The bread they use is very sweet ... Who does that?!?! Seriously ... Those slices were very thin and it was full with greens, + it was cut in four, which made it hard to eat. We requested it to be cut in half, of course they didnt do it ... It was a very unpleasant experience ... Definitely wont have anything from this place again

A step up on healthy choice meals.There sandwiches are very tasty and big.So what you dont finish you can have later.Or you can can just share.I do recommend the ice tea beverage so good.

Best sandwiches consistently and the bacon chipotle chicken spud rocks!

Salad was very fresh and delicious. I love their loaded baked potatoes too. Great lunch spot.

Wow!! I could not believe the numbers of choices on the menu...it was so difficult to decide. I ended up ordering the Southwest Chicken Salad, sweet tea, and a brookie and I did not regret my choice. I was with my siblings and had a taste of the French Dip which was amazing as was the New Yorker. I will definitely eat here again!! What would make this place even better: have a drink refill station so we can get our own refills, and offer smoothies and shakes 😁

Food is mediocre. Kids grilled cheese very dry. Service was slow (they are understaffed to their defense).

Went to the lake Zurich, il it took forever to order, Alice waited on us terrible had to repeat this gs many times, sandwich was wrong 2 times, forgot side, 28.00 for people never again , the Vernon hills one is much better.

Presentation was awful. Sandwich was thrown together sloppily. Mac and cheese was not good and looked old. I was handed a small white spoon for my soup that wasnt wrapped in plastic that was handled by the staff. The edges of this plastic spoon were so sharp it cut the inside of lip. Staff was friendly, but I wont be going back.

A flavorful meal that I thoroughly enjoyed. The Chicken Tortilla soup was the first thing that caught my attention. I was drawn to that soup. It tasted amazing and the tortillas added a great crunch. Next, the Club Wrap, I wasnt expecting much. My work has wraps here and I was thinking it would be the same, but I was completely mistaken. The wrap had a sweet and tangy sauce to it but it wasnt too strong just perfect. The tea was great as always. What else can I say? Its famous.

food was decent but had allergic reaction from a catered meal that included the chicken salad. not sure why they put nuts in the chicken salad.

Great food, awesome staff, quick service. On a busy day our food was out fast and we had 3 different employees come check in on us.

Tepid food is a constant issue. Manager says its because they were busy, but it has been this way 3 out of 3 times ... and the place has been almost empty each time. BTW, the solution was to burn the sandwich and the mac & cheese. Never again!

Ordered a sandwich, a large salad and two soups.Not a complicated order. Ordered extra salad dressing. No dressing whatever included with the order. I am homebound recovering from surgery and was unable to go pick up dressing. Had to eat a dry salad. Will choose somewhere else in the future.

Great place to take your family and your friends. The place is very nice and very clean. The food was fantastic the soup was awesome everything was very very good very very good. I would highly suggest this place for others.

The food is healthy and fresh. The mobile app is easy to navigate, order and pay online then pick up curbside. Never had to wait. We like their famous ice tea, and also lemonade made with real cane sugar.Deserts are amazing, great service.

First time here and a great dine-in experience at this casual restaurant. Meals were served quick by friendly staff. I was asked if I wanted refills on my drink, and staff offered to take away trays/garbage. The service was top notch. The setting was clean and easy to navigate, with social distancing measures in place with spaced out seating. Great location for a quick bite near Costco/Walmart.

I had never even heard of this place when my wife suggested it for lunch one day. What a pleasant surprise. Totally looks like a franchise restaurant when you walk in but, the sandwich I had was extraordinarily good. I definitely will be back.

Local sandwich place with the classics in sandwich, atmosphere, and soundtrack. Staff are masked and the cleanliness of the area is well-maintained.

Tasty Jalapeño Turkey Crunch sandwich with smoked turkey, jalapeño spud chips, bacon, pepper jack, avocado and mayo on a toasted jalapeño roll. I had the pick 2 with the Cesar salad and the fresh squeezed lemonade.

Good sandwich, broccoli soup, not awesome because the cheese was weird but flavor was good, the Godiva cheesecake was delish👌 oh oh oh! What I most appreciated was the cup of water, they gave us full size cup with ice and water! Bravo! Expectations, expectations Kudos!

The food is really healthy they actually warm your sandwich and use a lot of Turkey and fresh vegetables its much better than Panera bread. The best thing for your buck is the garden vegetable salad it feeds about four people and its only $9. We eat there every week

This is a great deli with a huge selection of sandwiches, super sized baked potatoes, awide selection of sides, and great iced tea. Four of us each got a completely different meal and we all loved our choices. Prices are reasonable for what you get. If you get a chance to go to McAlisters Deli, be sure to try it out. Im sure you will like it.

It wasnt the best turkey club Ive ever eaten. It was dry and I couldve made a better sandwich at home. The broccoli cheese soup was great!! Ill order the soup again.

I have eaten here twice now and floored at the WONDERFUL meals n deals here. From the soup to salads and sandwiches and more. If your looking for a COVUD clean place with over the wall friendly and professional staff, come to McAllisters. Being new to the area, I found my newest spot for wonderful food and healthy eating. Oh, there are fattening foods too, I just eat lighter.

I ordered the French dip and the person behind the counter asked what side I wanted and because I don’t go here that often I asked if it came with the au jus sauce and they said yes it comes on the side. So I ordered it with Mac and cheese and I get home and open up the box and there is no sauce. I literally asked if the sauce came with it. I called and the same person answered and I said that they forgot the sauce and they said oh I’m so sorry.. and that’s it!! Didn’t offer me anything. Very lame and this isn’t the first time I’ve had issues. Won’t be coming back again

Today I had the chicken salad omg its so delicious!! That chicken salad is the bomb. I also had potato salad which I always say theirs is so yummy!! And the potatoe soup...yummm!! Love me some mcalisters! And Thank you so much for staying covid safe!

I really hadnt been coming here much during the pandemic, but I think thats going to change after todays lunch. I had a buy one get one sandwich offer and got the New Yorker and the Italian. Both sandwiches were delicious and very substantial. They also have a wide variety of other sandwiches, fresh looking salads, soups and baked potatoes. They also have lots of sides, desserts and drinks. Theres sure to be something for everyone in the family to choose from. I got the curbside pickup and it was quick and easy.

Update Sep 2020: Tried them again, this time I ordered the huge potato and I specifically ordered extra butter. Barely any bacon again, tiny cup of sour cream, and 3 tiny butter packets all of which had melted and dripped inside the bag due to the foil tops/seals opening! Why should I email someone!? This person should email ALL their store managers: Change your to-go order packaging procedures: Give customers more butter with potatoes, separate them from the hot food so they dont melt, and provide more salt and pepper, not the 2 tiny packets the size of a dime that come with the plastic utensils and napkin. Thank you, Management.Its not rocket science, its basic logic, common sense, and easy customer service.Disappointed. I ordered the 1/2 chicken sandwich and a baked potato with bacon. The sandwich had a tiny amount of chicken and the potato was small with a miniscule amount of bacon on it - literally 1/4 of a slice of very thin bacon which meant 2 bites of the potato had bacon. Even the amount of sour cream and butter were tiny - 2 packets. Finally, NO salt and pepper. This is a 100% honest and accurate review from a competent adult.

I took my Mother there today.The young lady at counter was very friendly, and told us about different options, so that was good. My Mom got a chicken sandwich which she said was delicious. I got the chicken, bacon potato, which was huge, also looked delicious. Now the reason for three stars. They only gave me one little butter, I cut potato in half, but I had to go up to the counter to get more butter. A different lady said to go sit down she will bring it to me. I heard her call for it, but I waited for more than 5 minutes. So as I was getting up to go get it again, the young lady who took our order cane by and asked if we needed anything, I said I was waiting on more butter, she brought it to me, but about 7 to 8 minutes went by, and butter was very cold as was potato by that time so it would not melt. So needless to say did not enjoy a cold potato very much. It looked great and gave plenty of food, but I really could not enjoy.

Really disappointed by this location’s customer service and quality of food. I ordered in store to go. My meal did not taste right, they didn’t even cut my sandwich and forgot my pickle. The customer service was terrible. It was all high school (I think..they looked youngworkers and they saw us come in and did not take our order for a good 5-10 min. They were talking amongst each other. I usually go to the one in Algonquin however we were in the area. The one we typically go to is amazing. Great service, great quality of food etc. This location needs some major TLC.

I went to this establishment to try them out in Deer Park. The food was so delicious and fresh. I now go there at least once a week or twice. The restaurant was extremely clean and the staff was so friendly. Try them out, you will not be disappointed.

I have loved the other mcalisters that I have been to but the portions at this one were smaller. My husband and I got a half of sandwich and a salad. My son got a full sandwich and his sandwich was the same size as mine. It was good but a little disappointing!

First time at this place. The woman at the register couldnt make eye contact and couldnt answer any questions about the food. Not a great attitude- total lack of customer service orientation. The chicken salad croissant was terrible-- driest sandwich I have ever had, terrible tough croissant and half a scoop of chicken. My side of cucumber tomato salad had two tiny pieces of tomato and 6 tiny pieces of cucumber. And they forgot my lemonade despite my paying for it and there was no one st the counter when I picked up the food so I just left. Wish I could recommend but real disappointment.

Not sure why they think plastering menus on peoples cars in adjacent businesses is a good practice, but definitely not. Not to mention it created a hazard as I saw numerous other people leaving the adjacent parking lot with the windshields obstructed by the large menu they assumed was appropriate to put under peoples wipers. Generally, people dont like other people messing with their vehicles; just a little helpful information for you.

This was my third time visiting this location. The first two times were great, that was right after they first opened. Tonight the kitchen was very overstaffed, barely any customers in the restaurant and the kitchen staff was being very obnoxious. The only person that seemed to be working was the girl taking the orders on the register. She was answering the phone, cleaning tables, refilling drinks for people at their tables and helping customers up front. At one point the phone just kept ringing and everyone kept joking around in the BOH while she worked up from. Finally she said, I’ll get it. I could hear the manager say something from the office. I had high hopes for this place since my first two experiences went well. I don’t know if I will be returning. If something doesn’t change with the kitchen staff, I’m sure the girl up front will eventually get frustrated and just quit.

Nice new location next to Oberweis in Lake Zurich. The menu options are wide! And then they have specials not listed on the main board! The staff is helpful with options if you cant decide. Once order is placed, they bring you the food. Once done, they clear the food. The sandwiches and bread were fresh and delicious. Their salads look amazing, and I must try next time. The sweet tea is on point.

This was my first visit to any McAlister. The girl at the register was exceptional! I had the chicken wrap and potato salad. Both great, but for potato salad...I thought it was one of the best I have had. Quite a few sides to choose from. I recommend them.

Great sandwiches in here for a fair price. Ive tried 3 of them so far and need to try some more before pinning down a favorite. Really cant go wrong

Great food and good service. One cashier admitted he was new and wasnt sure about a few things, but it was no issue. Though you order at the counter, they came by our table a few times to take dishes and ask whether we needed anything.

McAlisters Deli is a newer restaurant to Lake Zurich and it is delicious. I love the fresh options they have to choose from for adults and children. It is a great addition to the fast casual restaurants in the area. I would say their food is most similar to a Panera but something different would be their menu options of loaded baked potatoes, or spuds as they call them. The best part about "dining-in" is that they take care of whatever you need at your table (grab refills, take your plates, ask if you need anything, etc.Also, kids eat free at this location on Tuesdays when you buy a regular menu meal. I just wish they had a drive thru for a quicker takeout option.

It took a bit longer to get food as it seemed they were understaffed. They were apologetic and ultimately the food was just okay. We ordered a club sandwich, salad, and a ham & cheesie - nothing too special. Ill probably give it another chance and order something different.

This is a relatively newly opened location. Some staff were friendly, some super stars and a few were a bit stiff and awkward with the standard corporate offerings asking if your food was ok etc. The inside was clean and condiment station was well stocked. I love this place. The menu rocks. But this time it was hit and miss. My potato was perfect! My table mate had a potato that was dried out, shriveled and a bit on the leathery side. The open faced sandwich came out and the bread was alright, again the temperature was on the cool side, bread a bit dry. The flavor was good though, however Id pass on The Big Nasty next time. The Memphian was tasty and the Horseradish Roast Beef & Cheddar got a 7 out of 10. Ill always go back, the combo options are almost endless.

Super great menu, great sandwich selections. Super chill & clean layout. Oh did I mention the staff and service was out of this world. Hope they dont loose that-reasonably priced.

This is a very nice eating establishment with great sandwiches and soups.

I met with the management before opening day. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I took several photos of the inside and outside of the deli, and the staff was excited to be opening soon. The location is perfect for a new deli type of eatery. The parking lot is close, and is handicapped accessible. Lighting was very good and bright. The place was very clean. Right near Wal-Mart and next door from Oberweis Ice Cream in Lake Zurich (off Rand Rd.)
