McDonald's in Vinton County

The kids you had working there last night were rude they just threw the food at you and didnt say thank you hi or nothing

Had a misunderstanding when wife and I were passing through town. We returned to the resteraunt and told the manager about the issue. She promptly took the opened sandwich stating " oh good I needed one of these" put it in another bag and sent it out the drive-through.On a separate occasion I received another wrong sandwich. (Seems to be how they move the drive-through. Give the wrong order to improve their times. Definately a common theme. When I brought the order in the manager sent both sandwiches back to the guy making the sandwiches and told him to remove the ham and replace it with sausage. He explained I had already taken a bite out of the sandwich and started throwing it away. She yelled at him to just put sausage on it and he took it back out of the trash and put it back on the line to put sausage on it. I explained it was a serious health code violation and was ignored. If I had been sick, then everyone that got a sandwich after me would have gotten sick.Tried to call owner but staff explained he doesnt even bother to come in and will not return calls. Was never offered the replacement of food or money. Since owner does not return calls I am filing a report to the health department. Calling the store was useless. These people are going to get someone really sick and the owner is not even present. Dissappointing.

The chicken sandwich was partially old, small. I never received a napkin. We do need to wipe our fingers. What does this restaurant use us to use? Our clothes. Yuk!!! We are charged honey mustard to place on our sandwiches when we dont want mayonnaise. You wont exchange one for the other. Your restaurant charges for every little thing. Not like Wendys restaurant. Yet, we now dont get napkins with our order. Someone not doing their job or dont care. Need respect!! Let me guess, we have to pay .30 cents a napkin like the owner Nicole and dimes everything.Head to Wendys. Wendys dont Nicole and dime people.On 10/22/2022 stopped and ordered a crispy ckn dix. With no mayo add shivered onion. I received a spicy ckn dix. Returned only to get a crispy ckn. Third one made was made with mayo on crispy ckn. Dix. Had to return. Fifth round, I didnt get lettuce on sandwich. They wanted to charge me to place lettuce on the sandwich thats to have lettuce on it. Got a refund. Now I paid $4.69I only received a $4.09 refund. The McDonalds in McArthur, ohio is the worst place to go. Stay away from that unprofessional business.Was exstreamly unsatisfied with this McDonalds. Every time!! Will never stop or go to this one nor owners in Welkston or Jackson McDonalds, no more. The pits!!!!

This place needs some help! 20 minutes for two McMuffins. Need I say more?

Monday thru Friday everything is perfect, order comes out on time, no missing items and everything looks and tastes fine.Man, you go to this place on a weekend, especially after Friday, all the numb nuts working in there. You order online or from app, you mark NO CHEESE, thos burgers coming with cheese like nuts!You pick out and pay for the DIPPING SAUCES, zero comes out of the bags.Seriously??? YOU NEED TO HIRE PEOPLE CAN ACTUALLY READ AND WHO IS WILLING TO READ.i am tired of listening kids bickering and complaining because their orders wrong.CHANGE YOUR WEEKEND CREW ASAP!If you cant achieve a simple task, please dont work!!! You making things harder for others!I order fast food sometimes because I dont have time to cook, meaning i dont have time to check every single order.Its a simple job, read the white paper sheet, do what it says on it and youre golden!

I ordered a Big Mac with extra cheese through the drive thru. After opening the sandwich and searching, I found no extra cheese. My husband went in to get it fixed. They made a new sandwich AND GAVE MY OLD SANDWICH TO ANOTHER CUSTOMER! The manager said she did not want the waste, (higher food cost), and told employees to resell food touched by customers from now on. THIS IS A HEALTH CODE VIOLATION and is disgusting. I had my hands all over the sandwich and now some unsuspecting person is eating it.

Only got half my food in drive thru had go back for it then they want to get an attitude about it ...and food wasnt very warm never going back...

At this point its getting ridiculous, every single time I come here they forget something or just mess up my order completely. My last two experiences have pretty much done me in. Its not good enough to keep coming back and spending my money to just not get what I ordered. Who forgets the burger on a cheese burger? All I got was bread, condiments, pickles and cheese then just this morning I ordered a sausage and egg mcmuffin and apparently despite paying for it they just didnt think I needed it. Ive tried to be patient, even going back to get whatever was missing and having it fixed but its nuts that it happens every single time.

Super nice employees. But if I see one more teen employee talking to whoever in the car infront of me and hitting their vape, I swear I just wont come back. Its time consuming and work time. Wanna hang with friends then clock out.

Stopped during a motorcycle day ride for a couple fillet of fish sandwiches. As expected, no matter where you stop, the quality is the same... great! Staff was very pleasant.

Dollar menu take down. Needed sustenance after a trip to the Moonville haunted train tunnel, and McDonalds fit the bill perfectly.

I will only eat Mcdonalds if my kids are absolutely begging for it when we are home. While on a trip this weekend, my husband and I stopped here to grab food, and this was by far the BEST Mcdonalds we had ever eaten at. Not only was the food warm and amazing, the restaurant and its restrooms were clean and well maintained as well. We were so impress that we stopped back by here to eat on our way back home.

I stopped here before a 3 hour road trip home and asked for a mcdouble only light ketchup and repeated myself . They made it wrong so I asked them to remake it. They made it wrong a second time even after I went back into the restaurant and told them the mistake. Very sad. Low effort

Drove 30 minutes for them to be closed website says open at 5 and had this rude skinny girl come out to tell the they werent open yet i asked when theyd be open she just rolled her eyes and went back inside wont be going back and that little girl needs to learn some manners there are plenty of ppl that would be honored to work for McDonalds and just be plan tickled to have a job. She lucky i dont go talk to her mother.

Terrible location. They understaff and treat their employees terribly. They can never have enough staff because everyone is always quitting. They, in turn, don’t know how to cook the food properly and the fries are always under done. I don’t think I’ve come to this location a single time without issue with something. The only way to complain is to have the owner contact you (according to corporate). The owner will not contact you. DO NOT EAT HERE.I really hope the helpful employees who work here (there are somefind another job ASAP. They don’t deserve to work in such a terribly run location.Maybe it seems like I’m complaining too much, but if you don’t believe me go see for yourself. You’ll see why all these other terrible reviews exist for THIS location.

Orders are messed up here quite frequently, but I keep giving them chances because the staff is so friendly. They do try. Theyll get there eventually. For now, its average.

If I could Id give no stars, they cant even put a bun on a burger correctly and it wasnt even right, get it together.

Idk how each specific McDonalds location can vary so much compared to other locations but they really do. Vinton County McDonalds is by far the worst. I only go here as a last resort and edible options are very limited. Lately the service is even lacking. Its terribly disappointing.

Messed up on every single "Iced caramel mocha" I have ever got there, but Its as good as most McDonalds.

Well I honestly didnt think a McDonalds could get so bad. Where do I start? My kids meals didnt have the nuggets in them. I ordered 2 so thats twice as bad. Bacon McDouble ... neither had Bacon, sent them back and than 1 had Bacon and no pickle the other had pickle and no bacon. My McDouble was only ketchup the first one was a regular McDouble so had to send it back. Double quarter pounder was someone elses because it had been made special ordered. So sent that back. Got right the 3rd time round. Someone please teach people how to use the picture chart

Food could have been a little fresher for as long that it took for my order

9 out of 10 times your order will be wrong. I have also gotten pink hamburgers more than once. They are courteous about trying to correct any mistakes if you have time for the hassle.

Horrible service... food us always wrong then when u try to return they act like you are trying to steal it. Rediculous!!!

Id say great as usually, but its absolutely messy. Yes, lets put the basket fry on the bottom with all the 5 napkins on top of it for the grease to soak it all up, then on the napkins put 6 sandwiches to push them down. After breakfast time the place goes downhill. In fact, Ive never had a hot sandwich there.. its cold. Every. Single. Time. Yes, the place is very dirty, messy and not taken care of. I wouldnt recommend it

Service is great in the morning. After lunch, the food is never right. The girls at the 2nd window are rude. They either smart off or dont speak at all. I despise going through here anytime after breakfast.

Valvoline is always top notch! Quick and easy, so great to have this service when you have little ones or in a hurry. Theres no need for a long wait anywhere else.

If I could give them no stars Id do it. Waited outside for 10 minutes because fries werent done. I get the fries and they are cold. Didnt get no sauce or napkins either. Foods always cold.

Wife and I got breakfast here in Mcarthur, Ohio. The cheese that was supposed to be on the egg muffins was melted on the paper wrapper instead not on the muffin. Has happened on two occasions now. Biscuits are dried out . Otherwise this is an ok McDonalds. Good coffee as usual.

Most of the management has been very rude to me and apparently by the way I look it disturbs them like I’m a nuisance stuck or think I’m privileged is how it came across. Then I seen the one manager out and about and seen how she treated her kids and husband so it wasn’t me it’s just that way she is apparently. It’s too obvious that if you were one to work in the food industry you will most likely have to have good customer relation skills or as we say in the service home training. The words common curtesy or respect the fellow man is what is what comes to my mind. I understand people may hate their jobs or line of work but it’s just common sense the golden rule should stay in affect and remain the number one priority when working with person to person interaction. Lastly it’s called professionalism if you can’t handle being nice to people just go somewhere you belong in a closet

Great coffee & tea is okay. Wont eat the burgers though. Got sick a year ago from $1 menu cheeseburger in Chillicothe Ohio. Grilled chicken is good.

My order was wrong, asked them to correct it and then had to have it corrected again. Staff was not friendly, parking was horrible and the bathroom was full of flies... Apparently it is the only fast food around in many miles as the place was busy. Id suggest getting food from the adjoining gas station.

Always a very friendly Location. Very clean and staff is always very nice. They always make fresh Hot cookies for my BF no matter if they have just made them. Never had a Problem that a manager didnt handle. For the most part this is one of the better Locations then Most.

Worst ever. As always, unfortunately have an allergy and McDonalds employees have never cared. Again they serve my sandwich with a bun and when I tell them to remake it I watch them because I know theyre gonna just try to take the bread off and serve me the meat that is now contaminated. Wow way to go McDonalds. I feel bad for anyone with an allergy that eats at McDonalds.

Service was good, but the food sucks anymore. Nothing to do with the staff. The quality of the product is awful. I believe it is 1 grade above dog food. For the love of Jesus, order some better quality products. Its not like McDonalds dont have the money.

Very clean place, with fast service. My order was accurate and fresh and hot, cant always say that about a McDonalds. Not a lot of seating but the lobby area was clean and trash cans werent overflowing. My really only complaint was the tea needed refilled and not sure that it ever got done while I was enjoying my meal. Will stop by again.

Disrespectful employees. The manager was doing more work then all the employees. I waited for 14 minutes on $5 worth of food for it to just be tossed into my bag half wrapped. Who ever owns this should be very ashamed!

This McDonalds is terrible in the evenings!! They get our order wrong most of the time. For instance tonight my husband is on his way back for the 3rd time because they continue to screw things up!! The company really needs to consider hiring competent employees!! If I could give -🌟 I would.

French fries and sandwich were overcooked and dry. Fountain drink area was filthy. Tables werent clean. I was in there for half an hour and saw no one lift a finger to clean tables. I wiped off my own.

Usually satisfied. But today, not only did they not have the correct bun for my crispy chicken, okay fine, but then when I open the sandwich, its cold. Not warm or luke warm, but cold. I will not drive away again with confidence in this store. If and when I come back, I will check my food before driving away

Normally a really good experience at this store. But not today. Ordered new bbq tenders. Then when asked for ranch. Lady rolled her eyes huffed and kinda threw it in bag. Then the tenders. Great flavor of the bbq but the tenders themselves where very dry and stringy like there had sat for hours

Excellent service, hot food and I got my napkins. I have no idea what these other yahoos are talking about. And Codea, if your drink was running down the outside of your cup, its your fault since you get your own drinks here.

I have giving this poor establishment way too many chances. I realize its only fast food and mistakes/ accidents happen, but this place is ridiculous. Poor staffing, no customer service skills, and no common sense. They never get your order correct and if they do its thrown together. And I guess its hard and too much of a request to have your drink inside the cup and not running down the outside....
