Terrible service, I wanted to pay for two hamburgers with $100 and I did not have a minimum change, I had to buy $40 for them to accept my $100 bill.I came back after changing the $100 bill and the attention of the staff in charge was very bad, the food was delicious, the order was nothing to see, I ordered a hamburger and a regular drink to my surprise, My drink was big, I wanted a fanta frozen blue and they gave me coke cola, I went back to change my drink and that I had to pay more money and I ended up buying a fanta blue frozen, regular extra.I like the food but I will never return to this place I will never eat at another Mac Donald

The food was cold and looked leftover from a week ago. Workers were not helpful. Avoid this place like the plague.

Terrible customer service! No refills and the staff will ignore you. The manager was super rude to the employees and us!The young man at the cash register with the medical bag was super super kind though. Great kid!

Hours of operation not accurate. They were not open at 4am on Sunday.

They were hustling in a crowded weekday lunch rush. The McDs app worked like a charm and we got our order quickly. I wish theyd turn around the number board, though, so we didnt have to hear numbers yelled into the crowd.

I go to this McDonald’s almost everyday because I work in the mall and everyday they stop serving breakfast at a different time. It’s inconsiderate and I think that it’s also lazy because I see no reason for the time to change everyday.

Fix your equipment. Ice cream machines are a staple for the brand.

Good and quick. There was a long line of the drive thru but it moved quickly and there no mistakes. I got all I ordered. I will be coming back to this location.

Waited 15 minutes for a sprite and it tasted like ethanol

I ordered a shamrock shake, it was so incredibly concentrated that it made me physically ill, I tried to water down the mint with another vanilla shake but whoever made that shake tried to kill me because it was still so concentrated and gross. Food was also pretty unsanitary, my bf who didnt drink the shake got sick also. I had to give up and throw the shake away, waste of money

Sometimes they are nice, sometimes they are rude, but mostly arrogant. It took 20 minutes for them to get someone to take my order.

They make good coffee but theyre never open on Sunday like it says

This location is not what one would expect from McDonalds. The counter workers are snappy and unfriendly. Their uncaring attitude left a bad taste with us, and in a food court there are plenty of other options which we will try next visit. The time of day we visited was not even busy and still the service was well below par. The food was fresh but unfortunately the poor service overshadowed the food.

The employees at this location are RUDE! EVERY SINGLE ONE INCLUDING THE MANAGERS !!!I was given something other than what i ordered. When I brought this to their attention, everyone had to discuss it , then what I originally ordered was pretty much thrown at me as the employee kept walking by....Not even heated up. If helping the patrons is such a bother, why work here? Not one of the employees greet the guests with a hello, a smile, nothing. Just "NEXT!".... NO thanks given. Get a personality people. I guarantee the only reason they keep getting customers is because its "McDonalds" not because of the friendly staff. I dont even want to give a 1 star review

I tried to get a pack of hot mustard, and the lady at the window told me it was already in the bag and when I showed her my bag had no sauce she slammed the window closed and wouldnt acknowledge that I was still waiting At the window as the drive thru was backing up

A person answered the drive thru saying we’re short staffed so we can’t help you. If you’re short staffed, be closed or say, we are short staffed so it’s gonna be awhile. Yet you are able to have someone answer the drive thru and have someone walk outside and drink coffee while we are being told this…outside had a line down the street because they took care of their guests!

Just such an awkward location off the freeway. The soft serve machine was down a couple of times we came here for our cones. They never have twist anymore? Im not sure if it is new or its been vanilla for a while...

This place is slow so expect a wait, the frys are 8/10 times cold so you’ll have to get new ones. But the employee are nice to you. They are just always understaffed from what it looks like so it takes them a while to get your food out.

2 employees staffed for an evening rush, yelling back and forth about either one not doing enough work = wait 20 Minutes for a french fries. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me. Really poor management here, but I guess what else are you expecting at a McDonald’s in a mall food court?

Its very crowded most of the time, which is expected for a McDonalds in a food court. However, they seem to take longer than usual to get orders. Staff is fairly nice, however, I wouldnt suggest going to this McDonalds in the food court. There are better McDonalds to go to.

I bought two quarter pounders from here today(1-21-2020), and they where both completely raw. How hard is it follow timers. Also my fries where cold. It took about 15 mins to get my food with little to no business.I did get a refund, and they gave me an extra $1.23.

We ordered kids meals with the nuggets The food did not taste fresh. They had run out of fries. The burger taste bad. For spending around $35.00 for a family, no one was happy about this visit. I had to make a second order because they rung up my first order wrong.

Avoid at all costs. They are so incompetent/just dont care, they cant even remove a sticker from the food before putting it together (see photos). Disgusting

All I ever get from here are breakfast burritos when I dont have time to eat breakfast before work. They typically get them to me fairly quickly and without screwing them up. But really they just heat them up and dont really have to do anything. So how could they screw it up? Im sure theyll eventually find a way, but so far so good.Id like to eventually get an ice cream sundae from here as an afternoon treat. But Im assuming that since its McDonalds the machine is probably broken.Three stars.

Very bad customer service by its manager Griselda, not the best manners and bad attitude towards simple requests, also she wanted to charge.50 cents per pump of syrup in a $1.00 regular coffee where no other McDonals would change you for that. This location should raise their standards due a very touristic mall for Salt Lake City. Very unsatisfactory service here.

Personally I judge all McDonalds on how well they dip the ice cream cones in the chocolate, unfortunately this McDonalds does in fact not dip their cones for they have no chocolate, which is a travesty in of itself, fortunately no one has to worry about the fact they dont dip the cones because the ice cream machine doesnt even work the majority of the time anyway. If I want to get fat from a restaurant I want to get fat the way I want, and not how the world of fast food franchise dictates. Personally I wanted to put zero stars but google wouldnt let me.

I wish I could give 0 star for the manager of McDonald’s location at city Creek Center, they have 0 customer service, I bought food from them and the manager over there was serving the food for me, after 15 minute I came back to pick up my food, she said we throw it away!! She got my receipt and bring me another food after about 10 min and for no reason and no respectful she put the food and the drink hardly on the counter and left!! That’s so disappointed because when I asked about the Manager they told me she is the Manager and her name was Mindy not sure but I remember they call her that name!!I will not buy from that location anymore because I don’t want to be in the same position again with her and she did that with other friends also she was so mean!!I’m sad because I love McDonald’s and I was purchase food for me and my kids and family at least just from that location twice a week! now I have to buy from other restaurants at city creek.

Unprofessional employees, when I asked to talk to the manager; a young girl showed up claiming herself the manager and refused to take my order as it was 10min to close. However I was only ordering a coke!I don’t blame that disrespectful young “manager”, but that shows bad hiring process/manager. Show more respect to your customers by hiring responsibilities and respectful people.Never come back here again.I walked right after that to Check-fil-a and they didn’t mind take my order and make my satisfied.

Oh boy. I know staffing is a problem right now. But my experience at this location was not great. I ordered a kids meal. They were out of toys. Fine. Its a busy Saturday night at a food court McDonalds location. I forgot the hot fudge sundaes I wanted so I ordered those separately while there was a lull in the line while waiting for my kids meal. While watching the organization of the service behind the counter, it was chaos with no communication. You could tell they were stressed. It appeared they were short staffed. Got my kids meal within 3 minutes or so. I patiently waited for my number for the hot fudge sundaes to be called. Nothing. Waited 5 minutes. Nothing. All the while watching them prep orders off tickets instead of the screen. I can tell my order had been cleared from the screen. I wait another 5 minutes. They start calling numbers past mine. At this point I thought man my daughter is gonna be starving I need to go get her food from Chick-fil-A and Ill come back. I wait there 3 minutes and have food in hand. Return to this McDonalds. As I walk up to the counter I can see there are still no hor fudge sundaes ready. I look at one of the workers crumpling up a ticket. My ticket that I was still waiting on. I was not pleased, but I politely asked for my sundaes, presenting my receipt. They apologized and promptly made them.The takeaway from my experience is to stay on top of them next time (even though there should be systems in place to do that without me needing to if theyre followed properly).

Not very smart people work here. They claimed my metal Amex wouldn’t work here and told me to go somewhere else. They have outdated machines! They didn’t understand when I told them this and told me it was my car’s declining. Amex Cards don’t have a limit...I tried one more time and it worked....hmmmm.....

Watching these employees work was like watching a comedy sketch. It took the 13 minutes to get me a large coke and a water. I spotted several health violations including an employee pulling up he pants and underwear then touching peoples food. It was disgusting. If I could give them zero stars I would.

Tried to go for chow. Location understaffed and nothing was coming out from the kitchen. They were out of chocolate syrup for someone elses order. They guy making burgers didnt change his food prep gloves between wiping down surfaces in the kitchen with a rag and then put his gloves hands in the dust on top of the ice cream machine. I couldnt eat there after that. Change your gloves after you touch dirty objects.

We stopped into this McDonalds Drive through primarily because it was on the way to where we were going - They were attentive and helpful, fast and friendly. Typical of what you would expect from a McDonalds. Anyway, they get 4 stars because (like most other McDonalds establishmentsmy Husband wanted Hot Mustard, and the bag contained Honey Mustard (which was not discovered until we got home). There is a reason that McDonalds says Honey Mustard is the most popular dipping sauce for their nuggets, and it is not because it is the most popular, but it is because when people are asking for Hot Mustard or Honey - they do not give you what you want, but they give you nasty honey mustard. Otherwise, we had a good experience here.

The food was honestly really good for this location. The customer service was alright, nothing too outgoing. Though the cashier was patient with me while I figured out the app real quick. Im not disappointed. This is honestly better than the Tooele location.

Usually crowded with longer than usual lines because at the city Creek food court everything except the subway and the McDonalds is super expensive so its lines are there for a pretty good reason, this location only receives 2 stars because normally when I ask for an ice cream cone the machine is not working and it seems not to be a important issue because its ALWAYS down, almost as if its never been fixed. Also maybe its my imagination but the price of value menu items seems to be just a bit higher in price than a typical McDonalds, just because its City Creek doesnt mean its special in any particular way. Dining area is normally packed and nosiest right up front where hearing the order number being called a few times can be fairly difficult. Otherwise its a McDonalds, what do we expect? Decent food? Haha. Eat a salad and go back to your employer not smelling of beef and fries cheese.

It a McDonalds in a food court. It tastes like all other McDonalds you have ever been to. It gets pretty slammed at lunch and there will be a bit of a wait, but if you have a craving for a quarter pounder it will do the trick. If your going in a group have someone snag some seats while the rest wait for the food, finding seating in the food court can sometimes be a challenge.

Worst McDonalds Ive ever eaten at. Ordered kids meals, cold, old, stale and long wait. Ordered spicy McChicken, no sauce or lettuce. Workers didnt care and didnt even look in my direction while ordering or discussing. I wouldnt recommend this place to even my enemies.

Have eaten here about 5 times in the past week and a half, and cant say Im unsatisfied, for any specific reason. The crew is generally good, with some friendlier than others, but all in all, theyre a very personable team, and they are doing the best to provide good food and great service.

Today, 8/22/18, @ city creek center McDonalds, I was order # 210, I was waiting for my two sausage burritos and large hot coffee for over 10 minutes, and noticed the employee at the desk throw away my ticket without calling my #, I approached him and let him know I still havent received my order, he apologized, and gave me my order with the coffee. My complaint is the employee asked me again how many cream and sugar I wanted in my coffee, as if the coffee was going to be served fresh and/or hot, when I left and sat at a near by table in the food court, my coffee was just under "cold", not even luke warm. I was really disappointed and wanted to take my coffee back, but they were busy. If this was the first time at this McDonalds being served cold or under luke-warm coffee, I wouldnt be writing a complaint today, however this has happened quite a few times recently, and its a disappointment to get where I am going only to realize how cold my coffee is and what an inconvenience it is to turn back around. Please do better with this! Thank you, a regular, loyal customer. :)Today, Oct 6th 2018,I ordered a large hot coffee, and was charged 9% tax and my sales receipt reflects this increase of tax - it states 9%. I was not aware that sales tax had increased from 8% to 9% and cannot find anywhere that it has so why the discrepancy? Also, I am a winner of a snack size Mcflurry- I pulled this off of my coffee this morning, and before I left I wanted to redeem this, and the employee at the counter told me that their ice cream machine is "broke", and I asked if this was going to be fixed any time soon, she asked another employee this question, and the employee said, she really didnt know that the ice cream machine was "really hot", and the employee at the counter told me "they serve a lot of ice cream" and that the machine would not be working all day. That was at 11:20 am this morning and it is fall season, I find that excuse or reason hard to believe. On a side note, I have had good customer service lately from this McDonalds with prompt service, and orders that have been well served (no complaints). Just a really odd day here, but also happy to have won a snack size Mcflurry from my $1 coffee, and I look forward to another time in redeeming it. Overall, Thanks McDonalds!! :)This evening, 11-3-18, @6:20 pm mst, I wanted to redeem my Mcflurry game win. When I placed my order, the employee said, "they were out of ice cream", and then quickly turned his attention to the customer behind me, so I quickly interjected and asked, "why" in a polite tone, and he looked at me and said, "the ice cream machine is broke", and then looked toward the customer behind me, and I hurriedly said, "do you know when it will be fixed?" and he said, "I dont know, it breaks a lot", and then again turned his attention to the customer behind me unapologetic. So, I walked away This is the second time this has happened with the same employee. I hope this problem with the ice cream machine gets resolved and improved customer service from this employee because I am really disappointed again.

Okay, McDs generally gets pretty low marks when it comes to customer service, but this location should win a prize for being the absolute worst.We stopped in this evening for some "fast food". 35 mins later, when our food was ready, we realized they are literally the slowest food establishment at City Creek.Within 2 minutes, I was back at McDs because they forgot to put ice in our drinks.Now, I probably could have looked over all of this, but my wife just finished her drink, only to find a plastic nozzel from the fountain machine in the cup, GROSS.This McDonalds is literally the worst. Do not eat here. EVER.

So-so for a McDonalds. it feels like something is broken here part of the time. Cant offer this because of some reason, cant offer that because of another.The staff also seem lethargic and more into talking to their co-workers than the customer.Food also takes longer to deliver than other locations. I get that its a mall and at times there is a big line, but it doesnt seem like anything super crazy.Anyway, not a bad spot if you take the above into account but Id recommend trying another place.

Never have I been to a McDonalds that charged for refills. They want 75 cents for a refill when every other McDs is free. I worked at McDs before and the cup cost us 1.5 cents and the drink was LESS than a penny. Gotta get higher profits at this location. I recommend another food court restaurant as many will give 1 refill with receipt.

Got a #2 combo. Asked for ketchup only cheeseburgers twice and still had onions. Took them back and got another pair in 2 minutes. Went to get a refill because my hi c was watered down and had little ice. Was told it would be $0.75 for a refill...go to chick fil a

Pretty good as far as McDonalds goes. The staff is polite (which is unusual for fast foodand Ive never had issues with the food. If the wait is ever longer than typical they usually throw in an extra treat.

This McDonalds is awesome! If you get there for lunch at 11 you can breeze through the line... like 2 minutes! They get super busy but they do a great job at moving the line and they are really nice. I can get a large drink and a burger for $2.16 and I have never waited for more then 5 min even when they are mega busy. Love this location fast and clean :)

They shorted my order wouldnt even look at it or in my bag. The girls name was Grace or Grece English was bad as well. Will never go back there also filed a complaint with the BBB needs a Staff change. Go hungry before you go there!!

This information is misleading; says its open 24 hours. This particular chain is part of the food court at CIty Creek Mall; the mall doesnt open until 10 pm.Also, this is the only McDonalds location that I have ever been to that doesnt have free refills on their drinks. They charge 75 cents for refills.Lastly, I wouldnt call this "fast-food". Some of the slowest service of any McDonalds I have ever seen.This isnt a review of McDonalds food, because we all know what were going to get at McDonalds; its all then same. This "one-star" review is a reflection of how I believe a McDonalds chain "should be" operated, and how theyre severely lacking in meeting up to my desired expectations.
