Insurance with a caring attitude. Ive been in business for years and had been with Liberty Mutual. Liberty Mutual was so over priced and the service was terrible. After talking with Dan and his professional staff, they insured my company with better coverage for much less . Also Dan took the time to explain every part of the coverage. No question was too trivial for him. I have and will continue to recommend these wonder people to anyone looking for a quality insurance company.

This agency is incompetent, every move/change to my policies the last 8 years has been processed with errors. The most recent one resulted in a cancelled auto policy. The agency refused to assist or remedy this. If you use this agent, chances are you couco be billed incorrectly and if you dont bring it to their attention youre probably overpaying. This office has absolutely no respect or apprecation for customer loyalty and their incompetence is astounding. Most recently after attempting to remedy the auto insurance policy, this office made unauthorized changes to my homeowners policy resulting in an almost $300 a year increase to my annual premium. I believe this was either intentional and malicious or another example of their incompetence. I discussed nothing with them regarding my homeowners policy, but that same day changes were made and billed to my mortgage escrow that I was only alerted to by a nondescript automated letter in the mail that has no details about any changes other than the date (the day I called the officeand the amount that was billed to escrow. I will be cancelling this policy as soon as I secure homeowners through another company and will never use this agency again. I would recommend that you avoid the hassle and stress they cause by choosing a more competent agency. Shame on you McGowan Agency, youve lost a once loyal customer that made many recommendations for your business!
