So, not only is this the go to place for fabric, patterns and wotnot; I have just had my sewing machine serviced and repaired. As a chap, I maybe am a little heavy handed with my machine, and tend to do 50% of my sewing on heavy duty stuff like webbing straps etc. I thought the machine was destined for recycling, however they have brought it back to life. I think the offer of "if we cant fix it you dont pay" is unfair as I would have paid £15 to be told the machine was beyond saving, stop trying to use it, unpicking all the snags, and just buy a new machine!So - great service, huge knowledge, and a big thank you

Quilting in the Meadows is a fabulous little place. Dont be put off by its size though - its packed with all sorts of bits and pieces youre likely to need for your sewing project and the prices are excellent too.
