Faster and cheaper. My pup was fixed with no problems. Didn’t even need to wear his cone.
This were I take my little buddy always great service
Wonderful customer service. I took my two dogs in for vaccine as a walk-in last week. It was super hot outside that day. The staff had cold water bottles for the us humans and the pets. The staff was wonderful. They wait was minimal. They were got us in and out in under 30 minutes. More like 15 minute. I have been coming here for more the 20 years and will keep coming back.
Heartless profit center (I know, it didnt used to be). Alan Warner and Toto
Talk about a great way to care for your 4 legged family members! Friendly staff with prices that wont put you in the dog house! Highly recommend this service.
Nice people. No waiting when you have appointment. Very good price
Ive taken my pets here for over 4 years now and am appreciative of their services. Getting vaccines is an easy, no appointment process. I knocked a star off because, as of recently, they wouldnt book an appt to see my dog because, due to no needed vaccines or health issues, hadnt been seen since 2018. My other dog had just been there a few weeks ago for his rabies Vax. The receptionist refused to book an appt. saying because it had been a while, I was now considered a "new client" and they are not taking new clients at the moment. Disappointing. While I still recommend these guys for vaccines, I do not recommend them for any other services such as health/well checks because chances are, you would be turned away as I was.
I’m glad my cats were in good hands.
The staff are absolutely wonderful here. Dr. Kerry is amazing! I have been bringing my pets here for years. I highly recommend this facility.
Got my puppy his first vaccine shots. Excellent fast service and it was a walk-in. Super friendly and not pricey.
Unfortunately they wouldn’t take my request and perform my own surgery despite all of the documents I brought in proving I am at least in character a dog
Great place to get low cost vaccines. No appointment necessary.
Great place to have your pets needs met. Staff are friendly and efficient.
Very attentive staff. Doctor came in and was very informative and gave her a detailed exam.
Amazing staff. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Everyone cares about every pet that walks through their doors. They even made a slightly dangerous procedure go as smoothly as possible (neutering a very old dog). My buddy is on his way to recovery and I cant thank Mercy enough for making sure he is safe and healthy.
I went with no appointment and the line was not bad wait time was minimal, staff was friendly
Vaccine clinic is so easy! Have had great care with both my pups
Took our dog in for shots. Very well organized, waited less than 30 minutes and great staff.
We were waiting for 30 minutes and it was supposed to be open, but it was closed. They don’t have updated schedules.
For a walk in clinic, very happy with how fast we are actually seen. And even IF I had to wait an hour or so (which I didntit would be understandable, for the price and kind staff 5 stars! 🌟
They were great! We were able to wait by our car and they took us in, in a timely manner with the appointment we had. First time vet visit for our puppy, he did great. It was a full house when we got there too. Ms Hernandez was great and so were the assistants. Thank you!
This place is amazing. Alex was very helpful with all my questions and concerns. Thank you all for taking good care our fur babies.
I called mercy to help me with a euthanasia. They informed me that they are closed on Saturdays and proceeded to hangup on me with no warning. Astonished, I proceeded to call back and they then told me they could not euthanize my animal today because he is a “new” patient(even though they saw him in 2009). She then gave me no alternative options to help. Overall I am very disappointed with this customer service I have been to mercy before and I am overwhelmed by their harsh treatment of a grieving family who is searching for someone to euthanize their family dog. He has been in our life for 13 years and deserved much more respect than was given in those calls.
Took my Frenchie in for his second shots. Great customer service. The staff was friendly and attentive. In and out in about 15 minutes. So far the lowest prices in Ventura county that I have found. Highly recommend!
Long line but still only about 45min start to finish for vaccines thats from check-in to in my car leaving. Very nice staff, very easy process.
This place used to be amazing but after it became more crowded we noticed some new employees manifest with terrible mindsets & attitudes. The "cool & tough" act is too much to deal with at any business let alone a vets office. That false bravado is very prevalent in our society generally speaking so I try my best to understand where Mercy is coming from/dealing with but...😫 it gets old fast.
At spay and neutered clinical at Oxnard. Their Dr. Told us my dogs has issues health and need it diet royal food. So I did my own investigation. Went to this clinc Mariana Animal hospital. I did a appointment for ultrasound and told the true story what they told me the other clinc with the papers they gave. Thank God for them my dogs are healthy. I cant believe spay neutered lie to me. So I went in person and talk to him with proof and expected a refund. They were unprofessional. Not recommend to spay and neutered clinc at Oxnard. At Marianas Animal hospital are patience, very professional, dedicated, hard workers within honest and responsible. Thanks to the Dr. And the team. Help me find the truth healthy of my dogs within proof.
A very good place to take you animals for their shots, and to get them neutered and or spayed, very reasonable prices. The staff are very nice and there is not really a long wait to be seen. You can also make an appointment for your pet if you prefer.
I had my dog neutered by them a few months ago. Somehow even though we followed the directions the wound looked infected I went back to them for a recheck they give me antibiotics saying it looks like an infection. It still got worse and we had to take him to Horizon for emergency surgery that night. They said it look like something happened during the surgery that caused this and it wasn’t an infection. Personally I would just recommend just because they do have such a high volume of animals if you can maybe go somewhere else. They do seem to try their best even though they do have a high volume of animals and sometimes things happen. Which is understandable they have a lot going on helping so many animals. I still take my dog here for the vaccines and I would recommend if someone wants a vaccine to come here. But maybe just not for the spaying and neutering if you have the money to go elsewhere. I do think they are a wonderful organization I just wish they paid may be a little bit more detail to my dog when they came in for surgery or the recheck.
Ive been coming here for 7yrs. I love their customer service. Nice little place for fast walk in vaccines. Getting an appointment for a check up however takes many weeks.
Ive been coming here for years, bringing my pets and recommending this place to friends and family. Staff is courteous, knowledgeable and very friendly. Hours are flexible and will continue to bring my pets here.
Awesome friendly employees and wonderful place to take our 3 furry babies. Totally trust Vet. And cant beat the $. Vaccines no problem getting walk in and make vet appt couple months prior for routine physical...works out great. If emergency we go to other vet and pay 3xs the price...but obviously will do when babies need quick attention. We have been going to Mercy for about 10 years. Very caring ❤
Make sure you keep all your records because they dont seem to. Denied a prescription stating an exam was due for my dog do to the last one being 3 months even before he was born. Also stating the prescription was wrote on the day after he was born when really it was written 7 months later after. They refused to update the system with prescription to fill it over the phone or internet and note it so that the written copy becomes invalid. Had to drive physically to the clinic to resolve the situation. Very disappointed with how business was conducted. Customer service was less than accommodating to make something that any other vet would easily be able to do. Pharmacist said that this was legal and the same goes for physicians. That is incorrect because the doctor has a record of the script and the pharmacy can see it or call the Dr. No need to provide a paper copy and after filled it is void.Good thing I didnt try to fill this prescription through lets say Chewy.com. After all, there is no way to take a physical paper to them. Whats really crazy is I was filling it through Mercys system and they still couldnt make it happen until I drove it to them. There comes a time when saving money and dealing with nonsense deals comes to an end.Not only did my puppy also get repeated shots after the breeder did 2 sets of shots by 8 weeks when I got him and they charged me to give him the shots all over again. Stating that he had them to early. How does that make any sense? Anyway. Keep your records and best of luck.
I love Mercy Crusade! Mercy Crusade is a nonprofit whose mission it is to control the pet population, which for them includes dogs, cats and rabbits. They are experts at spaying and neutering, and you can trust them.We took our 4-month old lynx point kitten to be neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped for a total of $117! That would have easily been over $600 or $700 at a regular vet. They charge $40 for neutering and $50 for spaying, and the feline IV and leukemia vaccinations were $11 each plus testing for FELV/FIV, which was $25. They charged $20 for the microchip surgery and $10 for deworming. They are very organized, even in a pandemic. They have an easy-up set up outside, with a roped-off area for a line. For neutering and spaying, you make an appointment, then drop off your pet between 7 and 8:30 AM on the day of your appointment. When arrive, you wait in line, if there is one, and youre asked to fill out a short form. When a socially distant seat opens up inside, they invited you in and they check you in, confirm the services and take your pet. Youre asked to return later that day between 3 and 4:30 PM to pick up your pet and pay for the services. They are very strict about drop-off and pick-up times, and if you arrive for pick-up after 4:30, there is an additional $25 charge. If they have to care for your pet overnight due to a no-show for pick-up, there is an additional $100 charge. Our kitty is alert and acting like nothing happened to him. That speaks to Mercy Crusade not over-medicating or using to much anesthesia for these little beings.Overall, we had a very professional and worry-free experience, and I would highly recommend them for your pet care needs.
At my last visit I waited 1 1/2 hours for a nail trim, which they only do on a walk-in basis. There was one line for all appts. it seemed, instead of taking the appts that would probably only take 5 minutes; which mine did. I found it to be very disorganized, although everyone there was friendly enough. If I can help it, I wont be going back. You also have to be the one to help restrain your pet to whatever it is theyre doing for them. If I wanted to do that I wouldve become a vet tech.
Mercy is good, just took our son dog to get his shots waited maybe like 45 minutes. Receptionists are very informed. Always trust Mercy Crusade!😁🐕
Always easy and great service at Mercy Crusade. Have been taking our pets here for years
Really nice staff always give good info ever since I got my puppy I’ve been going here & vaccines are super affordable, doctors are super nice, and explain everything. Not that long ago I got a dog flea treatment and it was amazing definitely worth the price my dog with the first month was already completely clean from fleas. 100% recommend this place!
Super efficient, kind and caring staff! Clean facility and a good system. Arrive earlier for pick up if you want less of a wait. Our older dog (8was spayed and healed perfectly after the operation. I was referred here by our regular vet because she told me they are so experienced in spays and neutering. She is a happy girl after only 48 hrs. Wagging her tail and doing swell!
I was able to get an appointment within a couple of days to have my cat spayed.. The clinic staff was friendly, helpful, and caring. It is a very efficient operation, and the price is quite reasonable. I will definitely be returning to Mercy for veterinary care.Thank you!
They fixed my two boy kittens were very caring and kind and was affordable. On a separate visit when I had to take my other kitty for a fever they didn’t charge to see us and squeezed us in last minute and the wait wasn’t very long. I’m very happy for the level of concern, warm, kindness and rapidness. Also they were always helpful and friendly answered any and all questions that I had. Thank you Mercy Crusade and staff God Bless you all for your care dedication and kindness ❤️
The price is right and the customer service is amazing. They keep my dogs vaccine records on file and let me know when we are due for shots. If you come in morning during the week you dont wait long at all.
Although busy...each pet and owner was greeted like a family member by a well organized professional staff. Communication was excellent giving us a detailed understanding of the process and very helpful post surgery printed take home care instructions. These people love what they do and it shows BIG TIME. The cost is a fraction of what you would spend being treated like a number elsewhere .
Best care all around. See to the needs with compassion, care and love. From the receptionist to the Vets, awesomeness!
I am very glad that there is a non profit that charges a reduced rate to have pets fixed along with having them micro-chipped. In this aspect this location is great...Unfortunately there is a serious lack of communication between the staff and their customers. We dropped off our pets to be fixed in the morning and by 12:30pm they were already, ready to be picked up. My husband was told that we could come to there office at anytime to pick them up. So shortly after 2pm I arrived and there was a sign on the door saying they were closed for lunch. So I waited about an hour and then another 30mins inside before I could pick up our pets.If you are going to tell someone please come to our office at any time...please also include in that statement that regardless of if your pet had surgery of not the entire office is closed so you really cant get them at any time.In addition, one of our pets was having some complications and I called yesterday and spoke to the vet tech about our pets symptoms. She said that they would be open on Friday from 9am to noon and asked what time we would like to bring him in. I told her that I would be there at 9am. So today, my husband gets to the office and they are closed...they do not open until 10am...We both work and we have two small children. It takes planning for us an when we make an appointment we expect that the person we are speaking with that works at the office knows what time their place of employment actually opens...Needless to say we were not able to have our pet seen today and will not be taking them back to this location in the future.
This is such a great clinic. They have such a sweet and caring staff as well. They were very busy but not once did you feel rushed being there. Our neighborhood kitty got hurt and they had great compassion and helped get him better. The vet took time to answer all my questions, was extremely patient, soft with the kitty and helpful. I have limited income, the pricing for the visit and needed medication didnt break the bank. I really appreciate this clinic and will return for future visits and all veterinary needs. Thank you.
I’m quite late writing this review. Better later than never though! I rescued 3 very feral tabby male cats five years ago. I did not think at the time I was going to be able to keep them. ( though I loved them at first sightI just planned to have all their immunizations and neutering done then proceed with adoptions into loving forever homes. So I decided to take them to Mercy Clinic after reading so many 5 Star reviews!Shortly after 10 am I got a concerned phone call that one of the kittens had a heart murmur. Rather than taking any chances with anesthesia they referred me to take him to my regular veterinarian for testing and have the one kitten later neutered at my primary vet, which I did. He’s doing great! The three brother are healthy & happy! Found their way into my heart and my home!!!The phone call I got for my kitten with the heart murmur ...well...This alone showed me that Mercy Clinic is top notch and professional! The other two brothers got neutered and chipped there that day. . They both did just fine and came home wanting to play. ( though I kept them in a smaller quieter room to heal)Affordable and professionalI highly recommend Mercy Clinic!!
I am very grateful to have the Spay & Neuter Clinic even with the long waits and limited hours. I use it for amazingly cheap vaccines and spay/neuter of my animals and strays as well. I keep my regular vets files updated but only use her for quick care necessities. The staff at Mercy are wonderful and the quality of care first rate. I almost gave it a 4 because the call back system for appointments is a hassel but hiring more staff would raise the prices.
I love this little place. Super friendly staff and team of Doctors. I would highly recommend having a little bit of time to wait, as they are always really busy but they service you quickly. Why go pay crazy amounts of money for vaccines when you can go there and pay $10 per vaccine. They also offer spay and neuter and a few other things. I always give a little extra donation - they do rely on them.
Awesome Experience at Very Affordable Rates! Had my dog neutered and everything went amazing! Drop off was super easy and at pock up we were given everything necessary for the recovery. Recommending this place to all of my friends and family!
