Michael Crane, MD in Cerro Gordo County

Ive seen him 2 times now. Both times he was rude. He called me fat like he didnt care about what the real problem was. I told him he was fat also and hes is fat. Saw him again today for my broken wrist. Came in 2 second, asked who did my knee replacement, then told me to go see that orthopedic for my wrist like he was jealous I seen someone good. Then walked out. Very bad bed side manners!!! Hes a jerk!

Just left after a consultation with so-called Dr crane. He walked in took one look at my partner and said, I wont do surgery on you youre too fat. Who says things like that? Regardless if shes fat, skinny, tall, black, or white. People should be treated with respect, especially by their medical professionals.

A man of few words.

1st time was PLEASENT..2nd time he was SO RUDE...tried to ask questions..he was out the door before I could say 2 words...and HE was 20+ min. Late for my appt....REALLY???? My time is as valuable as his...I ALSO HAVE A LIFE!! I had a whole five min of time.., maybe less.....ummmm wonder how many min will my Medicare be charged?? IM BETTER THEN SOMEONE AS HIM......NEXT???? " ZERO STAR TO YOU!!!!!"

Had 2 surgerys done on my hand. It still hurts and isnt very strong at all. Dr. Crane warned me that sometimes the 1 surgery made things worse or didnt help like people hoped it would. He was right! Hoping it improves over time but so far the trigger release surgery hasnt. The other surgery helped a lot..

everyone was extremely nice and helpful I was impressed DR CRANE and staff surgery nurse were great i know exactly whats going to happen before my surgery

Dr Crane was the most condescending jerk of a doctor I have ever been to. He told me my hip had a little arthritis in it. If I wanted a hip replacement he could do it but he didnt think it was necessary. Went to an Orthopedic doctor in Des Moines and he came in and said my hip was shot and will have it done in a couple of weeks. For 6 weeks I have hardly been able to walk and stand. I hate to give him even 1 star.

I had a great experience with Dr. Crane and his staff. Everything went just the way it should have,and everyone was a professional. I highly recommend Dr. Crane and his team.
