We just finished a move from Calif. to Oregon with Mid Cal Moving and they were AWESOME!! We could not be happier with how smoothly the move went, and not only that but their pricing was competitive and very reasonable. They were even able to adjust the delivery date when our occupancy date changed. Our estimator was very knowledgeable and gave us options that fit our specific situation. The team that moved our belongings was seriously the best--careful, friendly, experienced, professional, and efficient. These are some of the hardest working guys weve ever met and we absolutely recommend Mid Cal Moving to anyone wanting a personalized, professional moving experience from a team that goes above and beyond.

Bekins Moving Company is not honest one bit. They quoted me one price at the house, and at the end of the move, charge me much differently.***DISHONEST ***

Jerry responded quickly to our request for a quote and came out with his partner. We had a TON of furniture, new washer and dryer, a bunk bed and a ton of boxes to move from our second story apartment to the 2 story home we moved into.They wrapped everything up very carefully and didnt damage ANYTHING. They asked us exactly where everything should go and rebuilt and unwrapped everything they disassembled and packed up.Id definitely go with them again. They were professional from start to finish and made sure we were satisfied with everything before leaving. Thanks again Jerry for making our move that much easier! Were both registered nurses and worked the next several days after the move and Jerry and Romero really saved our backs for work!

I needed furniture moved for a window installation and decided if we need to hire someone, I would re-arrange three rooms at the same time. Charlie set me up for the service and was easy to deal with on the phone. I also had the request that who ever came wore masks.Jerry and Romero showed up with masks and no attitude! Not only did they move furniture, but they also really assisted me in getting the rooms organized. We really worked as a team. Since it was a 4 hour minimum, I added on other tasks and they were great. Moved birdbaths and fallen fountains. Also worked in the garage and our sun-room to help move a bunch of boxes around to make it easier to access.We have had several projects done and this was the first time, the service was not only more than expected, but such a relief to get GREAT SERVICE!I definitely plan to use them when we get flooring done in the rest of the house.Great company!

Lee was our point person for a move of about twenty-five pieces of antique furniture (including a pianoand several boxes of smaller items from Stockton to San Diego. A lot of these pieces were old - circa 1700 and 1800s old - and were in delicate condition after years of being left unattended. Not only were Lee and his team an absolute pleasure to work with, but every single item arrived in pristine condition. I had prepared myself for some damage to these items, as given their very delicate and antique nature it seemed inevitable, but everything was so expertly, attentively, and perfectly wrapped, boxed, moved, and looked after that there wasnt a speck of wear and tear from the move-out, road trip, and move-in. I was seriously blown away. Ive moved a lot in my life and cannot compare Mid Cal Moving and Storage Company to any of those experiences -- they are beyond exceptional, so skilled, and also so kind. Look no further than Mid Cal Moving. And a huge thank you to Lee and his team - your care on this job meant the world to me.

I can not even give this company one star. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They moved us from Cottonwood, Ca to Oakley, Ca. This is what they destroyed: 75 inch Sony TV (screen hit 2 times totally destroyed it), dropped our dryer (my son had to screw the top back on), destroyed my file cabinet (broke off handles and scratched the whole top of it), broke off the wheel on bed frame(had to buy 4 new ones other miscellaneous things totally scratched. When I put in a claim they only paid $47 dollars for the TV because movers talk us into $.60 for weight . So dont let them talk you into medium weight. Claims are handled by a third party(CSI claimswhich really doesnt care about your stuff. Now we are stuck buying another TV because this company doesnt care about your things.

We needed to move furniture and other large items from Irvine to several locations in Northern CA. The team at Mid Cal were professional, responsive to our needs, and easy to work with. We will use their services for future moving needs and highly recommend them to others!

We hired Mid Cal to move the contents of our aunts apartment in Irvine, California. They were mostly boxes, several tables and chairs, 2 TVs and several other pieces of furniture. The movers arrived on time. They carefully wrapped all of the furniture and handled them with care. They had to deliver these items to 4 different locations in Southern and Northern California. They arrived at each location on time and unloaded them carefully. They placed the furniture exactly where we asked them to. They were pleasant, courteous and professional. The drivers name was Lee Nelson and the other mover was Greg Storres. We would highly recommend Mid Cal.Weve hired other movers in the past and each time weve had problems. This was the first time that everything went as well as or better than hoped for. In the next few months we have to move several pieces of furniture to be donated to Habitat for Humanity and will hire Mid Cal again. Also the office staff were friendly and professional.

Extremely professional firm. They were fast, surprisingly so. Ruben, Jessie, and Kevin were pleasant, helpful, and very flexible. What a great experience on a local move. Would definitely recommend and use them again. Good price, too.

Mid-Cal movers were amazing. They helped my parents relocate from California to Texas. After having not moved for over 26 years, Wayne was a God send. He helped them every step of the way. On the day of the move, he explained how the day would progress and helped pack fragile items (TV/Pictures). He kept them updated on the drive from California and let them know two days in advance as to when he would arrive. He coordinated everything on the day of the unload, he had two additional helpers that made the unload quick and successful. Thank you Mid-Cal for taking such great care of my parents!

This was the most professional moving crew I have ever encountered.Jon, Johnathan, Victor and Aaron were absolutely great. They had prepared various crates for the transport of our lamps, glass table tops, etc. prior to arriving to the job site. There was not a single scratch on our furniture, glass tops and pedestals. They disassembled beds and tables for transport and assembled them back in the new location. I cannot say enough about this friendly and capable crew! Definitely would highly recommend to all our friends and family. Thank you, guys!!

My wife and I have used Mid-Cal movers twice in the last year and a half for a two stageMove with storage in between ( at a POD Warehouse ). As the storage place would not allow us to move the Pod between California and Nevada, we called Mid-Cal to help as they had assisted with our first move as well as packing a portion in the Pod.As we did not want to have to travel from Reno Nevada, especially in winter weather going over the Sierras. to the bay area to unlock the pod, we arranged for the storage facility to allow mid Cal to open the pod unit and place the goods into their truck without our presence. having experienced their prior dependability, we implicitly trusted the driver Victor as well as the company two take care of our furniture, clothing and other items without having to watch over them. Our trust was well-placed.The company regularly checked in with us to ensure loud what timing and directives remained in place. Additionally, they checked in with the storage company to make sure that they had permission to enter our pod at the proper time and place.Everything went well. Mid-Cal is a dependable company. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

We could not be more pleased with the thoroughness and planning that went into our major move from one business office to another. Mark Rendle communicated with me quite well and came in to inventory what we needed to move. I had mentioned that some of the items will be either destroyed or recycled prior to the move so we could end up with less to move. With that he came back a second time to make sure of the scope of the move then worked with me to arrange dates and times for the actual move. The estimate that I received actually was more than what the ultimate invoice came to. In other words, they came under budget. How can you not like that? I was present during the entire move and watched the crews work quickly but efficiently. We (mostly me as executive directorwas very relieved when the move was complete. I highly recommend Mid Cal Moving and Storage for anyone wanting an honest estimate and complete service.

Title: They steal from our Service MembersOversea PCS, 3 boxes went missing all our DVDs, the X-Box and PS. "Premeditated loss" since they made sure not to write the serial numbers down. Not happy, DO NOT use this company if you have no other choice video record everything. Owner/manager didnt give a ****. The one dude look like he had some sort of drug abuse problem, and I wouldnt have hired this company if it was my choice.Missing family photos as well, cant reorder them because the photography business closed.Owner never made contact with us, no one from this company said anything to us. Just left multiple reviews before noticing there was a reply left. Yes the items were all signed off on because I was tired and more worried about the TV, computers, musical instruments, and making sure certain items werent being packed. These men moved incredibly fast, and the point stands my belongs should have gone in a wooden crate not a large cardboard box during transport. Good thing the rain stopped shortly after.

They moved all my belongings, 5/26/2018, into their storage facility because I cannot take possession of my new home for two months. The efficiency and professionalism was incredible! I never thought I could afford professionals before but now I know that not only is Mid Cal Moving worth every penny, they are worth every second you save from frustration & soreness of doing it on your own.

We just completed a move from the California Foothills to the San Fernando Valley with Mid Cal Moving and I could not have asked for a better company to help us with this endeavor. The team under the leadership of John was so professional, polite, helpful, and prompt. I had the company pack all of my electronics, lamps and art work/pictures. Even though we packed the house since we needed to purge, the team also helped with various last minute packing. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. They made a stressful situation manageable and did it with great ease and expertise.

I have lived in the same place for 28 yr. Of 8 bids I took Mid Cal after Mark gave us a nice low key bid. Today Lee (The drIverbrought a 50ft Bekins truck to my house. Along withGregg, Jesse, Jose, and Reuben loaded up my house. These gentlemen were pleasant, hardworking, informative ,and took great pains that our move went without a hitch. When I ran out of boxing tape,they gave me some. When I ran out of boxes they let me borrow (without charge!So when it comes to unloading at my new house I hope they send the same crew!
